She is a former faculty and lecturer at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Yang graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine where heearned his DMD. He then went on to complete his Residency/Specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard/Mass General Hospital. During this timehe also attended Harvard Medical School and earned his MD. Prior to his clinical career, Dr. Yang earned his PhD in Biochemistry from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Before moving to the US, Dr. Yanggraduated from Peking University (China) with majors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Economics.
Dr. Jose Oscar Colon earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry. His education continued at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Master of Science in Dentistry in Oral Biology and his Certificate of Advanced graduate studies in Periodontology. Dr. Colon was awarded as the Best Periodontist in Puerto Rico in the 2015 Dentist Choice Awards.
Originally from Boston, Dr. Roz likes to spend her free time with her family, friends, and dog, Parsa, enjoying the outdoors. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, exploring New England, reading, and gardening in her community garden plot.
Dr. Bahar Houshmand received her DDS degree from Shahid Beheshti University. She continued her education at Stony Brook University and University of Washington where she obtained her Masters degree and second dental degree respectively. Dr. Houshmand completed her pediatric residency training at University of Connecticut Health Center and Connecticut Children`s Medical Center.
After completing her residency program, Dr. Houshmand was honored to join University of Connecticut Pediatric Dentistry department as full-time faculty. She was privileged to teach clinical and didactic courses to dental students and pediatric dentistry residents for the past few years.
Dr. Houshmand strongly believes in education and creating a positive relationship with parents and their children. She enjoys interacting with kids and listening to their priceless stories. She treat her patients with respect and patience, as if they are family members.
In her spare time, Dr. Houshmand likes to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys painting, reading and all outdoor activities. Dr. Houshmand is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and is a diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. David Buczak graduated Boston University, where he earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He then went on to attend Boston Universitys School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine. After practicing for a few years, Dr. Buczak earned his Master of Science in Dentistry from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Buczak has contributed to various research cases in his continuing education of the field of Dentistry, including information to help patients deal with pre and post radiation therapy.
Dr. Myung loves that working in dentistry allows her to find out what is causing a patient pain and discomfort, and eliminate it. Just seeing that joy in her patients smiles and knowing that she was able to improve upon her patients lives is one of her favorite parts of dentistry.
I have many patients who hated and avoided going to dental office for years; but after building trusting relationships with me, they dont mind coming to see me and some actually enjoy getting treatments done. That is my goal: make my patients dental experience more enjoyable.
Dr. Myung happily lives in Brookline. She likes jogging on the Beacon street, Chestnut Hill Reservoir, and around the town. She also likes spending time with her little nephew Jacob, making him laugh. When international travels are possible, Dr. Myung likes going on dental service trips to Haiti and Nicaragua.
Dr. Clark Smith graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and was the Valedictorian for the Department of Sociology. Dr. Smith then went on to continue his education at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Cum Laude. In his free time, Dr. Smith dedicates his time to volunteering and giving back to his community. Dr. Smith is a member of various Orthodontic associations, including the American Association of Orthodontics.

I have had a great experience with everyone in this office from the front desk team and managers to the dental assistants, hygienist, and doctors! I can see why Mary's patients love getting their preventative dental treatment with her! I had my teeth cleaned today and she was a gentle & thorough dental hygienist... my teeth feel so amazing! Dr. Shapiro treated me like he treats all his patients, with professionalism, kindness, and a well thought out treatment plan personalized to maintain my oral health and prevent the need for restorative dental work with recommendations such as a custom fit night guard and in office fluoride treatments. Dalia, one of the office managers, was soooo very helpful at helping me find an appointment that worked with my busy schedule and made it work within 24 hours of my request! I appreciate the entire Great Hill Dental Boston team

I walked into Great Hill Dental in Feb. 2022 with two fractured front teeth from a fall and newish to the Boston area. One tooth had more trauma than the other, but they looked terrifying. Prior, I had gone from one dentist to another, none which would take my case. I gave a call to Great Hill Dental and Dalia was so kind as I cried on the phone and explained what happened. The team at Great Hill Dental looked at my case and set up a plan for me and everyone was so kind, helpful and resourceful. Now a couple months later, my front teeth look even better than before after a root canal, tooth extraction, graft, implant, crowns and whitening. I couldn't be more thankful to the entire team, but especially to Dr. Lamarre, Lisa & Dalia who worked closely with me these past couple months!! My confidence is back and I can't be happier with the transformation. As long as I live in MA I will always return here.

Dr. Roz at Great Hill Dental is fantastic at her profession and a delight as a person. She puts time and care into her procedures and it shows via the resulting quality and longevity. She has a genuine concern for her patients as well and is honestly a lot of fun to just converse with.

The doctor is great, but the administration service is terrible and not accountable. They don't contract you if the appointment gets push out, they do a bad job collecting your insurance information and charge you the wrong amount. And the girl Paula will tell you that she has been doing her job for 6 years, and she knows what she is doing! She is not afraid people sue them! wow! Well, give you the full picture here, before you can judge me. I have been dealing with GHD Boston for almost a year now. First, they rescheduled my appointment without telling me, no emails, no calls, no voice message. They just automatically put me on the next available day three weeks after. I found out this on the day of my original surgery day, so I had to reschedule the time because the date they had for me didn't work. And of course, it also impacted my work schedule... After I had the wisdom tooth surgery, they rushed me out and asked me to pay before I can leave the office. At that time, after the surgery, I just wanted to have some rest, so I paid. Then I followed up with them a week later, when I can open my mouth to talk. I told them they made a mistake, my dental insurance covers 100% of the surgery. They told me they already send the claim to my health insurance and waiting for the feedback. When I asked why it is to the health insurance not the dental insurance? They told me it is how they do thing! So I let they run the thing... After one month, I saw the health insurance already rejected the claim. I called the health insurance they told me the claim was not a subject to my health insurance and that's why I have my dental insurance! So I called GHD Boson for confirmation. They told me they didn't know the claim was rejected and told me they will follow up. After another month time, I got no updates from them, so I called GHD Boston again. I told they should contact my dental insurance, but they haven't asked for the rejected info from the healthy insurance. And I also found out they didn't have the correct the dental insurance info from me! The manager Denise realized how serious it was, and apologized and even called me saying she will issue the credit to me after Labor Day. On 9/12, I called GHD Boston again. They told me they are waiting on dental insurance to response my claim and won't issue the credit! And the girl Paula told me she has been doing her job for 6 years, and she knows what she is doing! And she is not afraid people sue them! I think everyone should try different location for dental. GHD Boston just not good.

Great cleaning today, pleasant and very thorough hygienist. BUT appointment started more than 20 mins late. Unmasked people kept walking in from the street past the sign that told them they needed one. There was an unmasked man in the checkout area as well. This feels unsafe to me.

I have been going to Great Hill Dentist for a very long time and they run a great practice. Dr Shapiro is not only capable, he is kind, smart and personable. I am not a big fan of going to the dentist but they make it as good of an experience as possible.

I had a really great experience @ Great Hill Dental from the time I cheked in and checked out the receptionist was great. Also Dr. Roz,Carolina & Harold the Hygentist was so Awesome. Due to me having dental phobia and my anxiety be flying through the roof. They all made me feel comfortable Harold made me feel super comfortable and talk to me during my whole cleaning he explained everything before and after that made me feel so good and I didn't do much crying this time lol. I highly recommend Great Hill Denatl to anyone!

I have always been afraid of the Dentist and needed a significant amount of Dental work done. This place changed my whole mindset on going to the Dentist. Dr. Jose Colon and his assistant Danielle were incredibly friendly and professional. After having major work done, I wasn't in any pain during or after the procedure. If you dread going to the Dentist like I used to, I would give this place a try. Their hours are great and the staff is honest and works with you based on your budget. I'm actually looking forward to my future dental appointments at this place.

Truly Professionals. Because of them today my teeth are in the best shape ever. The attention I received has been anormence gratifying. Bilingual staff you have to love. One can ask for suggestions and how to go future with your treatment and the advice seems to work for me and the better of the client. The Doctors are very friendly like a family member with so much passion and total respect to each and one. I will continue my service with a big smile

This was my first cleaning in over three years. I went to Dr. Dental a few weeks ago where they took a bunch of X-rays, told me I needed a mouth guard and a deep cleaning and should expect a bill of nearly $1000 not covered by my insurance. Meanwhile at Great Hill Dental from the moment I was greeted by the receptionist to the moment I left I was treated kindly and with much friendliness and professionalism. I was not rushed and the hygienist Felicia did an amazing job. My teeth look and feel amazing. I even got the fluoride treatment to help restore my teeth. I will definitely be back and love how thorough of a cleaning I received.

Five stars! Highly recommend Great Hill! I'm one of the many who get anxiety prior to a dental visit. From scheduling to checking out of my appointment, The process was comfortable & seamless. I had the absolute best hygienist, Felicia. She made me feel welcome, explained everything she was doing with thoroughness, & made the entire visit enjoyable! I'm typically not the type up review, especially a dentist. I have a lot of bad experiences and really didn't want to go back, but Felicia completely changed my whole attitude towards the dentist. She is very comfortable and was so understanding and was so patient with me. I'm actually looking forward to going back.
