Doctor Park was amazing. I cannot said enough good things about his. The rest of the staff was also great and very sensitive and understanding of my fear of dental work. Thank you!

My Dental Hygienist Brooke was amazing, not only was she concerned about my crazy mouth but she definitely got the job done, and was so gentle and cool. Very beautiful spirit. Thanks Brooke

My daughter's appointment with the periodontist was at 3pm. I'm 7.5 months pregnant and after asking how much longer at 3:45, I was told "they are prepping the room for her." We weren't seen until 5:01. He came in, had her smile and within 30 seconds told us she didn't need any work done. If you know you're running 2 hours behind, shouldn't you call your patients to give them option to either reschedule or come in later? Why is my time worth less than the dentists? Its a good thing she doesn't need any periodontist care because we wouldn't be going back to this office.

I am going to preface this by saying I have horrible teeth and hated going to the dentist! Since starting the process for dentures with great expressions the ladies at the front desk have been great! I wanna give a special shout out to Dr. Lorber, Noelia, and Karen because they have been nothing short of amazing. From the moment I sat in the chair the made me feel comfortable. I can't give them enough praise for the work they Have done and their continued efforts put forward to make me feel at ease with the process. I sincerely thank them all!

Dental hygienist was good. Dentist was quick and made necessary recommendations. Seemed they were very busy, but kept things moving throughout the morning while I was there.

I made an appointment here after my regular dentist refused to see me because of an insurance issue. I was having pain and I got an appointment that was convenient for me. I was scared to death but knew I had to go. The receptionists were a little busy but I was taken care of immediately. Before I was done filling out the paperwork a nurse came out to get me. ( I wish I would've paid attention to her name.) I was given an x-ray and told I had to have an extraction. I was not happy about that but there was no help for my tooth. Dr. Shapiro came in to numb me (he was very honest and told me a few shots were going to hurt.) The first shots didn't numb me enough so he gave me more. He made sure I was numb before he started to work on my mouth. He worked as quickly as he could to get me out of pain. He also explained to me options for replacing the tooth I was going to lose. He's a dentist with little bedside manner but gets to the point and does his job. I'll be going back in a few weeks to see what else he can do to make sure I don't lose anymore teeth. It wasn't a great experience because I'm terrified of dentists but it wasn't absolutely horrible either.

Service from the hygienist and dentist were great. My complaint comes from the fact they convinced me to get treatment that was not covered by my insurance. The waiver I signed denoted a specific price. When the time came to pay, the waiver I signed appeared to have been whited out and crossed out several times. THE PRICE INCREASED AFTER I SIGNED THE WAIVER. Extremely unprofessional and probably illegal. They claimed the original pricing was a mistake and had to pay the new price. I argued for a while it was not fair that I pay the price for their mistake, but the old lady at reception was extremely rude and didn't seem to care at all. There was one nicer lady at reception but she seemed too scared to stand up to the old crone. In the end, I paid bc a line was starting to form behind me, and also I had to get to work.

I absolutely recommend this place. I came here after switching insurance and having gone to a family practice doctor my whole life. This was definitely a different experience from what I'm used to in regards to not being an intimate setting however the customer service here was fabulous and made up for that loss of intimate feeling. So much so that I would love to highlight some of the staff. Liz and Joy at the front desk are wonderful. Shay who did my X-rays was the sweetest. Meghan who cleaned my teeth was very nice and did a great job. Finally Dr. Park was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend asking Liz to get your appointment with him, not only was he kind, took his time, and did a fantastic job on my fillings but he also suggested a filling on a sensitive tooth I had that no one had suggested before and it has made such a difference. He cared and it showed. I'm Extremely grateful for this office and happily recommend it to anyone looking for a new dentist office.

Called make an appointment only to get a rude employee with an attitude. No formal greeting like hi can I help you just what's your insurance id#. Nothing like trying to schedule an appointment with someone that hates the job they do. Last visit asked the dentist not to pick at my there so hard and he threw the tool on the table and said well then there's no point. Overall a bad experience.

As most of you know this place was recently bought out by Great Expressions. Prior to this change the staff and Dr. Shapiro were wonderful. However, things have changed and I cannot continue my care here. Since the buyout I've been over billed for my services (confirmed with my insurance explanation of benefits). It took 3 months to get the overpayment refunded to me. On top of that, they've canceled my routine cleanings three times in the last few months. I'm allowed three per calendar year and I didn't get that last year because they canceled my November appointment due to a staff meeting and could not place me back on the calendar before the year end. In January the same thing happened. So we rescheduled for February. Only to find out days before the February appointment they never got prior auth from my insurance to do a deep cleaning. So we rescheduled for March. I've decided I won't be attending the March appointment. I've found care at a different office who got me right on the books and didn't cancel at the last minute. On top of all this the desk staff is extremely rude. This place has turned into a complete dump!

I've always had such a hard time with dental work, not due to the work it's self. But the dentist. I'm so happy to say that I've finally found a dentist I love, trust, and who's extremely knowledgeable and understanding. I met Dr. Lorber a month ago. Went through a treatment plan and now am moving forward. Today I sat in his chair again with his assistant (I want to say her name was Sarah) and the whole visit was filled with laughs, jokes and fun. A process and procedure that I was extremely scared of wasn't scary at all thanks to them. Today he fitted my very crooked, broken, messed up front teeth (broken thanks to a previous dentist) for crowns. The whole time he was asking if I were ok and helping me anyway he and Sarah could. When he was done with the procedure he did explain how I could possibly be in pain later, stating he had she shave so close to the nerve. He continued to tell me if I needed anything at all later if I were in pain to just call the office and they will get him after hours and he would send me a script ASAP. Well it's now 11:00 at night and My front teeth are tender, but no where near painful. I can't express enough to anyone who's reading this how much I love Dr. Lorber. I will be his patient until I can't be anymore. Sarah, his assistant today was wonderful too. If you are hesitant to choose this office, just do it and make sure you ask for him. You won't regret it. I know I don't!

The staff is incredibly unfriendly, Dr. Shapiro does not give out good vibes, my kids were uncomfortable and were definitely not happy there. Dr. Park is very rude and defensive! We left there fuming by his comments! Also made to wait 45 min sometimes and in a hot waiting room. Middletown Dental Associates is where we go now and they are awesome! Should have left years ago!!!!

DON'T GO THEY ARE SCAMMING!!!!! They just want to make you see random other dentist. Also wouldn't give me a cleaning bc of a 20yr knee surgery without medical clearance!!! The dentist didn't even know that I needed a filling replaced.... So what is he looking at??? More interested in me getting Invisalign. Save yourself and your time!

I recently changed to this office a few months ago and it's very pleasant. Just last week I had an extraction and Cassandra and Dr. Kass were awesome and attentive. I was still having pain and called the office, Sam was amazing. She got me an appointment very quickly to address my pain and took the extra time to go over all of my billing questions. This place is great and ill be a patient for life. The entire staff was welcoming and caring.

I don't even go to this dentist but had to make an appointment there, I work night shifts and missed my alarm for my appointment and was woken up by their call, the lady was super rude. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule or call back I said I would call back she said "K" and hung up so quick like she was so mad that's just so unprofessional. Everyone misses their appointment it happens but no need for an attitude.
