The staff are pretty pushy with procedures. I had come by about a year ago for fillings to be done, for which I needed 3. I opted to have two done since I was uninsured and couldn't afford to make such a large expense. I lost count of how many times I was asked if I wanted to get the additional filling done. As if saying no once wasn't enough. My most recent visit had the same energy, I felt as if they wanted me to get procedures done then and there even though I expressed I was on my lunch break and didn't have the time to do so. Edit: After my previous filling was done, I had noticed that food was getting stuck in between the tooth that had been filled and the other nearest it. This was a result of them having filed down my tooth that was being filled, so now I have to deal with having to carry floss around my person anytime I'm about to eat a meal outside since it almost always leads to discomfort.

Worst experience ever in life. Hygienist spent less than 5 minutes and did not touch more than 20% of teeth and the ones she touched was just a kiss of formality, literally no cleaning done for all practical purposes. When I complained to Hygienist and at the reception they said she is cleaning teeth fir ten years. I am 51 year old who had over 90 cleanings in lifetime and has never received a cleaning procedure completed under 5 minutes without even touching all the teeth its just impossible. The dentist was even worse I was at reception, behind the reception pod there was hallways and across from hallway was a room where dentist was sitting on her desk infront of computer against the farther wall of the room. She yelled from there what is the issue, she had neither manners nor professional courtesy of how talk to people. I told her she needs to walk out of her room cross the hallway and come to reception office to talk to me. They are bunch of looters, engaged in professional malpractice stealing money by not only not properly providing the medical service but putting health of patients at risk because patients will be under the false impression cleaning is done but infact their situation would keep getting worse while waiting for next appointment in six months, but this would perfect receipie for charging for services which otherwise could have been avoided only if they honestly performed cleaning as it should be. Now I have spend out of pocket to get cleaning and exam done.

SUMMARY: This office is shady, has bad customer service, and values making a profit over their customers. I feel like I was being taken advantage of and rushed into procedures. All the good reviews are misleading and I wish I had picked a better place. My Experience: At first everything was okay. I went in for a cleaning and examination and they found cavities and a root canal. I was aware I had problems because I hadn't gone to a dentist in over 4 years and had just received dental insurance again. The first red flag was receiving the estimated bills for my procedures. For my cavities, my insurance cuts the cost down to only $30-50 per filling. However, for EACH cavity they wanted to charge me $116 for "pulpal protection", which I was told was medicine in order to protect my teeth from becoming sensitive. I asked if it's necessary and/or mandatory and they said yes so I scheduled an appointment for the next day. I was still on edge and couldn't find a lot of research about it online. I referred to professionals I knew who work in dental fields and nobody else had heard of this medicine. So I called their office, told them I did some research and asked again, is this necessary, and if so to cancel my appointment. The lady said she would ask the doctor and call me back soon. Hours went by and still no call so I decided to call again because I didn't want to get charged for potentially missing an appointment. She told me she'd let me know by the end of the day, or early the next morning. The next morning, 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment (very inconveniencing), I get a call saying that only one tooth actually needs the medicine because of how deep the cavity is, and that I should still come in. I found it unsettling that their mandatory procedure turned into a recommended one after I had spoken up. I told the lady to not put me in for any appointments until I decide to call back and she hung up on me. Another red flag was the root canal bill, with which I was being charged $1290. The reason this made no sense to me was because at another dentists office, they offered me their discounted rate for UNINSURED people to perform the same procedure for $1350. I believe that there was an unnecessary up charge to my bill to get away from having my insurance pay for it and for them to make a profit.

Thus is a long one but i recommend you read it if you're thinking of going here. Dr. Sanjay is NOT to be trusted I repeat NOT TO BE TRUSTED. I don't ever write reviews good or bad but I felt compelled to in this situation. I chose this office becuase of all the "good" reviews but after my 2 visits there I quickly learned these people are not out for your best interest. Initially I went in for a routine check up after 3 years since my last dental appointment but I was never too worried cuz I take good care of my teeth I didn't have insurance until now and didn't have any immediate concerns but that's beside the point. 1. They didn't give me any x rays which i thought was weird but said "ok fine you're the professional here". 2. she looked at my teeth and said they are good perfect no cavities nothing to be concerned about, I am just gonna give you a clean. I was actually happy to hear that given the fact that I let it go for 3 years 3. she barely took the time to clean my teeth properly she basically just brushed my teeth didn't remove any tartar nothing just brushed quickly. That's actually been one of my worst experiences just felt so half assed. She then referred me to a pariodontist becuase of my receding gums. I went in for a consultation and this doctor did give me xrays. Out of curiosity I asked "do you see any cavities?"..he responded by letting me know that he didn't specialize in that and would ask the Doctor that doctor being Dr. Sanjay ok cool Ill wait... she comes in says "didn't i just seen you a few weeks ago" i said, "yes" Again only looks at my teeth without even acknowledging the x rays and now only 1 month later I have 2 cavities. I asked her to show me in the x rays she refused and said you don't need to see that and tried so hard to show me through a mirror,i saw nothing, but she assured me they were there. Then i said to her "last time i saw you you said i had no cavities n my teeth were perfectly fine but this time only a month later now i have 2 cavities, how come you didn't catch this last time? Because i highly doubt these 2 cavities came about in a months time especially after not being checked by a dentist in 3 years". She said to me "things just change like that" I then i asked how much it would cost me it was over 300. I didn't trust a word she said she's either lying now or did poor job the first time. Either way both are terrible. I got a second opinion and guess what absolutely no cavities n my teeth are in perfect condition. Moral of the story they don't care about the patient I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this office or Doctor. Absolutle fraud. I can't believe she is willing to perform unnecessary procedures on people. She was gonna drill into my teeth and add filling when i didn't need it, let that sink in. Absolutely unprofessional.

DR. SOWMYA SANJAY IS THE BEST!!!!!! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! I came to Dr. Sanjay with two broken teeth (upper molars). From the first day of consultation until the last and everything in between I never felt uncomfortable or in pain and EXTREMELY confident that Dr. Sanjay would be able to fix my teeth. In fact, throughout the entire procedure which lasted several weeks (Crown lengthening, crown prepping, temporary crowns, crown molding and crown installation) I was amazed at her precision, attention to details and most importantly attention to me as a patient. She explained every step of the way what she was planning to do and throughout would always ask how I was doing. Very Professional and Thoughtful. Her work is IMPECCABLE. THANK YOU DR. SANJAY!!!!! Also, I'd like to give a shoutout to her Dental Assistant Ms. Ariana who was always prepared and professional, as well as the office Mgr who handles the billing. They're all doing an EXCELLENT JOB!!!!!
