I was able to make an early weekend appointment with Dr Kass, this was convenient. The procedure was explained to me clearly. I was comfortable while having the procedure. Post procedure treatment was explained well along with follow up visits.

My children were going to this office and due to us having some unforeseen family emergencies such as me being in the hospital intubated my daughter being born at 6 months and having to stay in the hospital and then COVID hitting our home we were unable to keep some appointments and the woman who runs the Middletown site dismissed them From her clinic meaning they could no longer go there. I don't understand how this makes sense when unfortunately we are all humans and unexpected life things happen. She didn't even have the decency to contact me or even inform Me that this can happen i found out when they called to confirm one of the kids appointments.

Usually I have no problems. I have been going to this practice for over 20 years, way before they were called Great Expressions. The other day I had an appt for a cleaning. I checked in at 8:25 for my 8:30 appt. I was called back in just a few minutes for x-rays which took less than 10 minutes. Then I was taken to the room and told the hygienist would be in a few minutes. The hygienist (which was not my usual hygienist I have had for years) didn't come in until 9:15. I was so agitated. I was just about to walk out. I have never had this problem with my regular hygienist. Then when she was cleaning my teeth, she was brutal on my gums. I thought to myself I must be bleeding like crazy. Again have never had this experience with my usual hygienist. I was so happy when this chick was finished. The dentist was supposed to see me that day as per custom. When hygienist left the room, she said the dentist would be in in a few minutes. 15 minutes later she comes back and I still haven't been seen. 1st she says it will just be a couple more minutes. Then she says well let me go check. When she comes back she says he's doing a procedure and will be a while....do I want to make appt to see MD. There are never any issues when the dentist sees me so I didn't schedule appt. I didn't get out of there until 10:15!! It usually takes no more than 40 minutes. I NEVER WRITE WRITE REVIEWS. USUALLY THERE ARE NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. BUT THIS VISIT WAS A SHITSHOW.

BEWARE. AVOID AND DRIVE THE EXTRA DISTANCE TO MONROE. I just got hung up on after my appointment, that I made two months ago, got cancelled and the woman gave me no reason. I very politely asked why and she just kept saying the same thing - "your appointment has been cancelled. The doctor won't see you." I have always gone to great expressions in Monroe. I moved up to Otisville in Monroe was very far. I was told by the Middletown office and the Monroe office that I could absolutely transfer my Invisalign case there. Me the appointment 2 months ago with everyone being on the same page and my records being sent over. I even got a confirmation call yesterday. Then this woman calls me up basically yelling at me that the doctor wouldn't see me in my appointment was canceled. I just wanted to know why. I was like ma'am. Can you please just explain to me what's going on? She literally just kept saying your appointment is canceled. The doctor won't see you. You're going to have to call Monroe. I asked her if she could please tell me what she needed from them and she said listen your appointment's canceled that's the end of it and she hung up the phone on me!!!! Never again. I would much rather travel all the way to Monroe and back. I've always been treated while there.

I've been coming here for years and the staff has never been so unfriendly. The wisdom tooth surgery was delayed and it felt rushed. When my mom came to get me, they shoved the bill in her face before she walked into the room. The surgeon was the nicest one; all the others were callous and way too impolite. Even at the end, when I was asked if I could walk, I said "give me a minute" and she said, "no, we're going to try now". I'm not usually bitter but they were very unprofessional and obviously only cared about the money.

I only give it 5 stars because of Dr Kass. He listens, is sympathetic, explains in full detail what needs to be done in care of the patient.
