The hygienist has the most rough manner. She doesn't take her time and just uses her power tools right over your gums as well as if in a big rush. It's the most painful experience I've had at any dentist.

Do not make an appointment here! Poor customer service! I tried to explain my daughter's situation on the phone at 2pm to a receptionist, since I had a meeting at 2:30. My wife doesn't speak English well. Our paperwork referred to another dentist that didn't accept our insurance but Great Expressions did. I was looking forward to getting a braces quote next week for Ortho. Then I would get new insurance from January, in less than 3 months. The confusion was too much for the receptionist. She yelled at me on my wife's phone and hung up her phone without asking. Then angrily told my wife that her husband was rude. My wife asked for a sick note and was given a note saying she was there from 2-2:25pm. My wife and daughter had to drive 40 minutes to get there too. I communicated my daughter's needs a week earlier by email to the same person that exploded on me. They will try to charge you for cancelling an appointment.

I was received well. My wife and I have had a good experience with our dental needs. I am grateful not just for the way I was handled but the staff are warm and welcoming.

Horrible horrible. I have never had such a bad expoerience in my life in a dentist or doctor's appointment. While the specialists I've seen were great the scheduling stuff was a mess. From the horrible coordination od trying to see a specialist and going from location to location to location to the fact that they refused to treat me for one procedure with a specilaist ( reminding you, they kept me in pain for almost 10 days trying to schedule to see all these specialists) unless I would do another procedure with another specialist which it wasn't necessary in my opinion. At the end of the day I decide about my health not some scheduler in a dentists office.

The dentist Dr. Lee was not present to oversee what the hygienist did! It was a rush job...I felt like all they cared about is money not giving their best to a patient...customer service is zero

Probably the worst dental experience that I had. Aside from the exorbitant charge for my cleaning, my hygienist reeked of cigarette smoke. Here I am a year later, and I had to make sure I left this review because it was that impressionably BAD.

Great Expressions have a first Great Impression. I went in for a Root Canal procedure with Dr. Ball. Highly recommend him. I can easily say that this was my best dental surgery experience counting fillings and extractions. I'm very open about this because I know there are people out there who have had bad experiences before. While it may vary, I cannot the express the magnitude of care given during this procedure. In my case, this is the first time I did not feel any pain during a drill or pull. Family members of mine are astonished how nicely it was done. Last experience I had was in a Florida dentistry where they put 7 painful shots in my mouth and I still felt the drill. Long story short, that doctor messed up my mouth badly 11+ years ago. So anyways, just writing the positives in sequence of events. Got there 30 minutes earlier than expected since I was an hour away. They took me in almost immediately. They do take in care credit. They do have discount plans for uninsured patients paying out of pocket. The procedure itself was quick and thoroughly done. I was told that I may have discomfort in the area after the numbness is gone. I am experiencing NO discomfort, soreness, or at all 4+hours later the procedure. The root canal is sealed with a temporary filling, so no need to worry about complications. Just following the rules of not chewing on that side until the next steps are taken. Thank you Dr.Ball and Iris!

Last week at the Great Expressions Riverside location, Dr. Alford, her assistant, and Ms. Kirby, her hygienist gave my daughter an amazing experience with her cleaning and fillings. They were very professional. Dr. Tiller, another great and professional doctor, at the Henry Clower location was her former dentist, who no longer accepts her insurance. Which brings me to why I brought her here. Unfortunately, yesterday when I took my child for her remaining fillings visit, we met the most disrespectful and unprofessional person on the team, Ms.Claudia. The day before, someone called and apologized to me that they overbooked and wanted my daughter's 3pm visit to be moved to 2:30. I explained that it wouldn't be possible. We got to her 3pm appointment at 2:54pm, only to be told by the frontdesk that my child missed her appointment. I tried to explain that someone did call, but I didn't agree. They told me to wait and got Ms. Claudia. They explained to her and she said their scheduled showed the appointment was missed. I asked to speak to the dentist or someone else. She was standing slightly behind the two ladies at the frontdesk. She rolled her eyes and shook her head saying the dentist can't do anything about it and that I should have a seat and they'll try to get to my daughter at 4pm. She never got a manager as I requested, but walked to the back for a few seconds then came to say her manager said she was the one who called about moving the appointment. I definitely got irritated by her rude, could care less attitude and unfortunately allowed myself to go back and forth with her and whatever had possessed her. Someone needs to teach her that when someone is upset, fueling the fire by rolling your eyes and shaking your your head is considered rude, just in case she missed the memo. Fortunately, I know that you can have some great and professional people trying to achieve greatness, but there are always the demon possessed ones that will do what they can to take you to their level. Not today satan.
