Took my mom for some dental work. Insurance did not cover any of it. We were given a price for the work ($3100) and we agreed. After my mom's last appointment I paid off the balance; so I thought. Few months later I received a bill for and additional $500. I called the office three times for an explanation but no one is ever available or return the phone call. Now they are threatening with sending the bill to collection. I didn't rate it 1 only because Dr. Lazarus for nice, patient and professional. However your billing office is a big scam. I'm not saying this lightly. My mom needed additional work and they gave us one price until the day of her appointment they called and doubled the price. Then tried to bullied me into keeping an appointment for a 10% discount. This experience has been eye opening, no matter what dental insurance you have, dental offices do not bill them, provide wrong billing code for insurance to reject the claim and then tell patient "it's not covered". I had to take my mom to other dental office to complete the work. After almost 6 months, I've decided to pay them but not without writing this review.

Horrible business practices. Ethics is not part of their business methodology. My wife and I are both disgusted with this Freeport, Brooklyn Ave, dental office Great Expressions. Run away from them as quickly as you can! To all who know Cheryl and I, you can take our words and absolutely keep away from this office. They misplaced or disgarded my wife's cap and till this day we never received it back. Constant selling going on and no straight answers.

I go to the Freeport office 4 times per year with no wait time, friendly welcoming front desk staff and Brandi the hygienist keeps her exam room very clean and sterile. She explains what she is doing and is as painless as any dental cleaning can be!
