Being in the dental field for 20 years, Sarah has worn many hats working in different dental office settings. This has translated in her being one of the most versatile and well-rounded team members at our practice. She can literally do it alladministrative work, clinical work, and can fix almost anything. She is extremely passionate about our practice and loves improving lives one smile at a time.When Sarah is not busy at our office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing softball and volleyball, gardening, crafting (She hand-makes most of our decorations in the office!), learning how to fix just about anything, laughing, going to festivals, and volunteering for area races. She is also the president of her neighborhood civic association and manages the neighborhood pool.
Another seasoned veteran on our team, Ann first worked in general dentistry with adults but quickly switched to pediatric dentistry due to her love for helping children. She is also multi-talented and is able to work the front desk and help out on the clinic floor. She loves traveling, music, and spending time with her two grown children, her lovely granddaughter, and the rest of her family.
I have worked in the dental field for over 13 years but recently switched to pediatric dentistry. This is by far my favorite place to be. I love working with Dr. Burns and our amazing team.I am a mother of two boys. I enjoy being outdoors and will try to find any reason to be outside on my time off. I love sports, reading, and dabble in painting every now and then.
Born and raised in Mandeville, Lindsay has always had a passion for working with kids and special needs children. She loves making kids laugh and helping them have a great dental visit, whether its their first time or 20th time. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and being a mother to her cat Muffin.
Mary was born in Nicaragua, but raised in New Orleans. Being the oldest of six children, Mary has always had a passion for helping and working with kids. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and coaching and playing soccer.
Another former patient at our office, Madeleine has dreams of using her experience with our practice to become a dental hygienist one day. Madeleine is a great multitasker and can be seen running around the office doing each and every little thing to make our office run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. In their spare time, Madeline enjoys spending time with her friends, her large family, and going to their fishing camp.

As a former patient of 15 years and having had her braces at our practice, Jaslin realized her passion for dentistry and joined our team. Over the past few years, Jaslin has grown in her dental knowledge and expertise. She is very sweet and loves working with all our precious patients,especially our special needs patients. Her goal is to make patients feel just as comfortable at ourpractice as she did as a patient here. Jaslin plans to go to dental hygiene school to further her career in dentistry.
Having worked in dentistry for the past 8 years, Claire has loved every minute of it. Over the years, she has worked in many different dental specialities and has finally found her passion in the world of pediatric dentistry. She is truly passionate about caring for others and believes in living her life with a smile each and every day. Claire loves exploring our great city with her two daughters and watching them learn and grow. You will find Claire to be extremely patient and sweet with all of our patients.

We are very excited that Casey has recently rejoined our team. As a previous dental assistant mostly in pediatrics for over 10 years, Casey brings her vast knowledge of pediatric dentistry to our administrativeteam as a scheduling coordinator. With her eager mindset and cheerful attitude, she is able to cater to both the needs of the parents at the front desk, as well as the patients. Outside of the practice, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.
With over 8 years as a pediatric dental assistant, Chelsea loves working with kids every single day. She loves to laugh and be silly with all of our wonderful patients. You will find Chelsea extremely kind, patient, and helpful. In her free time, she enjoys watching football with her family and friends and loves going to the beach in the summer!
From a young age, Michelle has been fascinated with dentistry and always knew this was the field for her. With over 7 years experience as a dental assistant, you will find Michelle to be a great addition to our team. As a New Orleans native, she has a deep love for the food and traditions of her hometown. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her fiance Stephen, her family, and friends. Michelle loves all children and looks forward to having a large family of her own one day!
As an experienced dental assistant, Ammy has always had a passion for working with kids. She loves volunteering in the Metairie community and helping people in general. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and has two fur babies,Max and Capi. In her free time, she loves music, traveling, playing soccer, and spending time with her large family. Ammy is very kind and caring and loves helping our little ones feel comfortable at our office.
Dr. Nathan attended undergrad at Mississippi State University, graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2003, and then completed a two-year residency specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2005.
During his pediatric residency, Dr. Nathan was extensively trained in all aspects of pediatric dentistry. This included (but was not limited to): growth and development of the pediatric dental patient, preventive and restorative dentistry, advanced behavior management techniques, sedation dentistry, hospital dentistry, trauma, orthodontics (braces), and treating patients with special needs.
Dr. Nathan treated pediatric dental patients in a private practice in Nashville, TN for 9 years (2005-2014). This time and experience allowed him to fine tune his skills as a pediatric dentist, especially from a communication and behavior management standpoint.
Dr. Nathan and his wife Vanessa then moved to New Orleans in 2014, and took over the long-standing and well-respected practice of Dr. Ronald Curran. Dr. Curran hand-picked Dr. Nathan as his choice to continue the wonderful customer service and excellent pediatric dentistry that Dr. Curran provided to so many parents and children throughout his career. The two of them worked side by side for 6 months, before Dr. Curran fully retired. Dr. Nathan is at the practice everyday and looks forward to continuing and improving our remarkable practice.
Conservative in his treatment philosophy, Dr. Nathan believes in fully explaining all procedures and options in a manner that everyone can understand. He prides himself on being professional, friendly, compassionate, and honest. He takes the time to answer all questions that any child or parent may have. Dr. Nathan believes in treating everyone as he himself would want to be treated.
Born in Houma, LA, and raised in Natchez, MS, Dr. Nathan was always looking for an opportunity to move closer to his family. He and his wife Vanessa are very excited to make New Orleans their home and are extremely thrilled to help Great Big Smiles continue to be a wonderful place for all children and parents. They have two young daughters, Clara and Campbell.
Brent Danley, DDS is originally from Texarkana, Arkansas. He completed college at the University of Arkansas with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then completed dental school and his pediatric dental residency at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. During this time, he treated pediatric dental patients at Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital and the world famous St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. For his efforts, Dr. Brent received the Award for Excellence from the Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Association of Tennessee. During his pediatric dental residency, Dr. Brent received advanced training in sedation anesthesia, the treatment of medically and physically compromised patients, orthodontics (braces), and the growth and development of children.
Dr. Brent is very excited to be in Louisiana and experience the fabulous culture that New Orleans has to offer. In his free time, Dr. Brent enjoys woodworking, hunting, playing golf,kayaking, and searching for Nemo and Dory while scuba diving.
