Dr. Richard (Tony) Turner and his wife, Teresa, were both raised in rural eastern Kentucky. Both of their families were also raised in eastern Kentucky and were teachers in their respective districts for many years.
Dr.Turner completed his undergraduate studies at Morehead State University in 1992 before going on to dental school. He attained his DMD degree from the University of Louisville in 1999, and he has been practicing general dentistry since graduation. Hes excited for Gray Station Dental to be open in Gray, and he looks forward to having you and your family to his office!
Participating in continuing education courses helps Dr. Turner stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry. It also aids him in building upon the services and expertise hes able to offer, such as implant and cosmetic solutions and automated endodontics. Dr. Turner constantly seeks ways that he can better treat his patients oral health needs and bless the lives of others through his dental knowledge and skills. Dr. Turner believes in the power of a healthy smile to make a positive difference in peoples lives.

I lost a filling on a Thursday night and called in to make an appointment on Monday morning. They got me in that morning due to a cancelation within about 45 min of my call. I normally see Dr McBride but he was out so I saw Dr Turner and had a WONDERFUL experience. He is great !!! The whole staff is amazing and would recommend this dental office to everyone. Not only do they see my husband and my self but our daughter and grandchildren as well.

This office was phenomenal! Everyone I was with was wonderful and patient and kind. I'm really not a fan of dentists, and avoid going at all costs and I was so worried about this visit as I hadn't been in a long time. But everything went over comfortably. They explained everything they did and were using, and they answered all my questions. They even made me excited to start really taking care of my oral health!

The staff is very nice, very friendly. They make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. I just had two cavities filled and I was extremely nervous bc I'm young and I went alone but after it was over I felt silly for being so scared. it was painless and much quicker than I expected. I recommend this dentist

Hands down the best Dentist/Dentist office I have ever been to! I see Dr. McBride and have nothing but good things to say. He went out of his way to do an unscheduled extraction for me because I was in so much pain. I also have had to bring my 4 month old son to my appointments which is stressful in it's self but the office staff did not mind and even played with and watched my sweet boy for me. Also to add I have had many extractions in my life and this was hands down the best, most painless one I've ever experienced. Thank you so much Dr. McBride, Lindsey and all the other girls.

Honestly, the best dental visit I've ever had. I forgot my insurance card at home, and they were able to bill my insurance without it. The dentist was very nice and had a nice conversation with me. Most dental visits I've been to were full of awkward silence. Which can be kind of unnerving because visiting the dentist is usually stressful anyway. He noticed a tooth had a rough spot that had become a little discolored. He took the time to fix it for me, which I was very grateful for. It only took a few minutes, but very few people go above and beyond nowadays. He also showed me my ex rays and explained them to me in a way I could understand. I've never had a dentist do that before. I usually just get told what they saw on my ex rays. I had to get a shot in the front of my mouth, which usually hurts really bad. But he was very gentle and I didn't feel it at all!! I have never recommended a dentist before, but I highly recommend this dentist!! Honestly, going to the dentist doesn't have to be an awful experience!!
