I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bailey! I went in for a consultation for a bump on my inner lip and a tooth issue. After x-rays were done and my mouth was checked out, he gave me a very clear explanation of what the issues were. I had a saliva gland that created a mucus pocket and a 10+ year old filling that began to split. The thing that got me was that he referred me to an ENT for the gland removal because it codes as a "medical procedure" and not a dental procedure. He explained all the insurance stuff and told me that it would probably be a $150-$200 difference if he did it because insurance wouldn't cover it. I really appreciated that because it was clear that he wasn't about making the money and more concerned about the best options for me. It is hard to find people who are not "in it for themselves" and are honest and upfront about everything. I didn't feel like he was trying to add extra procedures to get another buck out of me. I decided to get it done with him. Ashlynn and Dr. Bailey worked with me for my procedure. It was GREAT! First, I am so thankful for numbing agents! Secondly, I am so glad that they are as talented as they are. I did not feel any pain in the filling replacement OR the removal of my saliva gland. I had both things done at once and I thought there would be some major trauma but it was such a soothing environment with the music and the way they talked to me about each step that I actually ended up falling asleep in the chair! I can't say that this will happen for everyone, but I haven't even had to take a Tylenol! I have not felt ANYTHING with my tooth. No irritation or anything! My lip swelled the first day and began to go down the next. There was an expectation that it would be worse but it healed so quickly, I assume because of the methods Dr. Bailey used. I have had two dentists in the past 20 years. I chose my last dentist because I live in Rocky Mount and it was close to my work and home. I had good experiences with them but I wanted to try Dr. Bailey out and I am so glad I did. I will gladly drive a few extra miles to Tarboro for his services. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr Bailey is awesome he's gentle and caring when your getting your teeth cleaned or pulled you don't feel a thing. If you need to go to an dentist I highly recommend going to Dr. Bailey.

My experience here hasn't been so great , my first visit everything went fine and Dr. Bailey and his assistants were great!!! My second visit wasn't so pleasant, the receptionist was very disrespectful to me after I missed an appointment and didn't call first, she called and expressed how she didn't care why I didnt make it because they have bills to pay and she went on being very rude to me!

Worse experience I've ever had. I set my appointment based on the reviews I had read.. well I'm VERY disappointed the reviews may be from friend's and family (don't know) but all of the staff appears to be uncertain which gave me an uneasy feeling the older receptionist was rude and unprofessional not polished. The office appeared to be clean I arrived on time waited over an hour. By then 4:30 or so And Being a new patient I needed a few minutes to converse with the dentists I felt his inexperienced bed side manner he almost non audible . Hes been practicing (per him) since just 2010 which for basic dentistry could be sufficient. The dentist was pleasant but too inexperience in my opinion. The senior citizen as receptionist was blatley rude I walked in for the first time no hello how are you, straight COMPLETE THE FORMS ON EACH PAGE. If you like a no nonsense atmosphere this your place. But I prefer polished professional competent type dentist office

As a adult I absolutely was terrified to go to the dentist I always brush my teeth and did all the necessary stuff but I did not go see a dentist until I had issues and couldn't take it anymore. Dr. Gray Bailey made that transition of being scared easy he has the best chair-side manner and explains in full what's going to happen and absolutely has the most gentle Touch. Thank you Dr. Gray Bailey for making my visit to a dentist office a positive thing I 100% recommend Dr. Gray Bailey to anyone that does not have a regular dentist.

We have been seeing Dr. Bailey for a few years now. Always, always a pleasant experience. His office staff, his dental assistants and of course Dr. Bailey himself are professional, courteous and caring. If you don't have a general dentist. I highly recommend you contact Dr. Bailey's office today and make an appointment. You'll be so glad you did!!

Dr. BAILEY is the best dentist I have ever had. .that says a lot because I am a senior citizen! He is great explaining my dental needs and is so gentle I almost went to sleep in the dental chair during my first visit. Also has an excellent staff.

I've been going to Dr Bailey for years. He has never hurt me or my 3 children, while doing filings. He is very kind, conscientious, and competent while the staff are friendly and welcoming. Office is clean and professional. Location is convenient.

If you are looking for a clean and professional dentist, look no further. Dr. Bailey and his staff are kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, offering a warm and hospitable environment. The hygienists are both gentle and thorough, leaving your teeth feeling sparkly and fresh after each cleaning. Overall, I have found the dentist with whom my service will stay, and if you give him a chance, I'm sure you'll love him too.

I had a tooth split and a 40+ year old filling come out. I was a new patient so there was paperwork to fill out on arrival, but not excessive. There was not a lot of tooth to work with so I was afraid of the tooth breaking off and root extraction being an extensive process. Dr Baily was very friendly and very mild mannered. He took time to explain to me all that would and things that might be involved and risks involved. Saving the tooth might be possible but would be very expensive and chances were slim that it would be successful. We decided just to pull it. I explained that in the past extra novocaine had been required mid procedure. He gave me extra before starting. He was amazingly gentle during the extraction and managed to get the tooth out much more quickly and with less hassle than I thought possible. I never needed any pain medication since and it is healing nicely. I can't guarantee that your visit will be go as well as mine, but I feel completely confident recommending Dr Gray Bailey.

I was a new patient and went to Dr. Baileys office. I am a big bundle of nerves when I have to go to the dentist, but the staff starting at the front desk made me feel more comfortable. I really like this office and the staff and very happy I choose to come here.
