I graduated from California University of Chico and was also able to live in Spain for a semester abroad. In my free time I enjoy hiking, yoga, and eating SUSHI. My favorite thing about working in the dental field is being able to meet new people, forming friendships with patients and helping people.

I have enjoyed being a dental hygienist for nearly two decades. It is very important for me to treat my patients like family, being thoughtful yet thorough. I have been married for over 20 years and have 2 teenagers that keep me quite busy. Away from work I love to bake, spend time gardening and exercise.

I started as a dental assistant and returned to college for Dental Hygiene. I graduated from Parkland College in Champayne, Illinois. I find Dental Hygiene much more challenging and satisfying and have been doing it for the past 30 years. I enjoy educating patients about their oral health and what trouble those bacteria critters are causing. I keep current with latest in Dental Hygiene by regularly attending continuing education classes. I enjoy working in the yard, crafts and reading mysteries.

An implant is a titanium 'root' which can be placed into the jawbone. Once integrated with your bone, the implant can be used to support a crown, a bridge, or secure a complete denture. Dental implants may be used to eliminate partial plates and dentures. The success rates for dental implants are extremely high which is due in part to the fact that root-form implants are made of a biocompatible material, titanium. Dental implant treatment represents a slightly greater investment than conventional treatment; however, the benefits of implant therapy for most patients outweigh the minor additional cost involved.

Do you have missing teeth? It is critically important to replace missing teeth. Eating and chewing with missing teeth can sabotage your bite and lead to incessant discomfort. Missing teeth can give rise to a mouth rearrangement that often results in facial changes. If a tooth is missing or has been extracted for any reason, a single implant can be used to replace the missing tooth. The implant is placed into the bone of the jaw and acts as the new tooth root. After the bone has healed over the implant an abutment can be placed on the implant and a crown can then be attached. This method of tooth replacement looks and feels like a natural tooth.

In cases where multiple teeth are missing or have been extracted, multiple implants can be used to bring back your smile. The implants are placed into the jawbone and are given time to heal. After the bone has healed around the implants, an abutment is attached to the implant which then allows for a crown or bridge to be placed right on the implant. These new teeth will look and act just like natural teeth.

If you have slipping dentures and are tired of being self-conscious about the thought of losing them at an inopportune moment, a full arch implant might be the solution for you. Dental implants that can be placed to accept a full arch of teeth. This is done by strategically placing implants along the upper or lower jaw and attaching a denture-like attachment over abutments on the implant posts. Once placed, a full arch using implants will feel and perform like natural teeth. You will be able to chew with confidence and never have to worry again about losing your dentures.

When a tooth is extracted and an implant is to be placed (either simultaneously or in the future) it is always necessary to complete bone grafting within the residual sockets that are left behind after the roots of the tooth are removed. The shape of the tooth root is always different from the shape of a dental implant and hence there are always residual socket defects (holes) that must be filled in so that there can be excellent contact of the implant to the newly formed bone.

A key to implant success is the quality and quantity of the bone where the implant is to be placed. When patients lose their upper back teeth, there will be a greater chance for them to have less bone in their upper jaw due to the anatomy of the skull, and a natural process that occurs after the tooth is removed, called pneumatization.

The human skull has several cavities or air spaces called sinuses. When the sinus is enlarged and intrudes on areas where we want to place dental implants, bone or bone growth stimulation material is placed into the sinus. This procedure only affects the maxillary sinuses, which are located just over the molar teeth in the upper jaw. The side of the maxillary sinus is opened and the bottom is raised so it will fill in with bone. Several months later, dental implants can be placed in solid bone.

During sinus augmentation procedure, Dr. Arora will gently raise the sinus floor to the appropriate height. He will then fill the area with bone graft material. This will assist in building bone as a support to allow an implant to be placed. Depending on the patients case, the implant can either be placed the same day as the sinus lift, or after the first procedure has fully healed.

Doctor Arora and his staff were very friendly and professional. He did an excellent job, and I am very happy with my final implants and teeth. Dr. Arora explained every step of the process, was gentle, and he made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a beautiful smile!

At my first meeting with Dr Arora I found him to be very kind and straight forward about my situation. I experienced Dr Arora to be professional and more than willing to explain the causes, options, costs and prognoses of my options alllowing me to make the decisions. The staff is friendly, polite and engaging. My surgery was performed by Dr Gill who was every bit as professional, friendly and skilled as I could have wanted. Thank you to you and your staff, Dr Arora.

It's always stressful going to the dentist for major work but that problem was erased with Dr Aroras' staff and himself joining together to make my visit a pleasant one. Besides socializing to keep your mind at ease, dental information was constant. When you know what is going on and what to expect in the future, dental work is easier to handle. In addition to telling me what to expect following the extraction and bone graft printed after care instructions made life easier for this 85 year old. With the molar extraction and bone graft behind me I'm (almost) looking forward to my implant.

Dr. Gill performed my procedure. She did an excellent job and was very professional. She did her best to address all my concerns and make the procedure as pain free as possible. Dr. Aurora did one of my post-op checks and was also very professional and kind.

I highly suggest seeing Dr. Arora if you need to see a Perio. He (and his staff) did such a great job making me feel comfortable with my care plan and subsequent procedures. I saw Dr. Arora for an extraction and a bone graft which will eventually lead to two implants. At first, this procedure gave me a lot of anxiety but he and his staff made it very easy for me and continue to make me feel like a top priority.

Doctor is excellent. The only thing that bummed me out was that he wouldn't spend the 50K to get Kanye West to hang out during my appointment.

You cannot get any better than Dr. Arora and his team. As a person who has struggled with dental anxiety my whole life, I couldn't be happier about how he and his team make me feel coming to see them. From how courteous and accommodating the reception staff are to how efficient, yet easy-going he and his assistants are. I appreciate that Dr. Arora runs his practice with integrity and that he truly wants what is best for me and my dental health. Dr. Arora and his team are the best dental professionals around.

The staff were always friendly and informative. I generally ask a lot of questions because when it comes to my body, my teeth, I want to be informed about what is being done. I mentioned at my first appointment with the staff and Dr. Arora if they could communicate with me what was being done. And throughout all the procedures they volunteered the steps being taken. For my information and to be at ease during the procedure. I was impressed with the ease that Dr. Arora exhibited as he extracted a damaged tooth, showing me the pieces because I asked to see what he was doing. All of the work went well and any after effects and healing was much less than I expected. A very favorable experience. The crown was put in place this morning completing the implant process and it feels great to have a tooth again...

Dr. Arora and his staff have been great throughout the entire process of tooth extraction and installing a couple implants recently. I always felt that I was in good hands and now I have a full set of teeth again. Thanks for the great work!

Dr. Arora is smart, warm, and engaging. His skill as a Periodontist is excellent. The office staff is happy and competent; they enjoy working there! I have been going to Dr. Arora since 2010, and I have had nothing but wonderful treatment.

My husband was the first to be referred to Dr. Arora with needing to restructure his dental bite and put in an implant. He had nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Arora and his staff. I was referred to Dr. Arora for bone loss and a continuing infection in my gums (same area) due to my previous implants being too close together by a different Dentist. I underwent through cleaning out of my gums before they did a bone graft. My anxiety was high, but the process was very gentle with a few weeks of healing. Unfortunately, the bone graft didn't work (as can happen sometimes). We (Dr. Arora and myself) are optomistic about the future and alternatives. Dr. Arora is knowledgable and technologically advanced, which give us the best chance for a healthy mouth and happy smile.

I love Dr. Arora and Debbie, his assistant! I'm a huge coward when it comes to dentists and I had extensive work done over the course of a couple of years. Even though I had a couple of black eyes at one time after surgery, my overall experience was positive and results are amazing! I will recommend them to anyone needing their services. They are the best!
