VIsited to get 3 teeth recrowned because prior dentist made them too big and that dentist adjusted away most of the porcelain and the entire cusp from one of those crowns to make it "fit.". I asked Wallace to remake this crown so that it was shaped like a regular tooth - cusps on both sides. He made the crown exactly as before, no improvement except for porcelain and no cusp on the outside.Teeth need cusps to keep the food in the tooth for grinding. He redid the crown above it with the crown sitting out of line with the other teeth on top - it sits out toward the cheek and food rubs against the gum. These problems cannot be fixed without recrowning the tooth [I think it costs about $180 for a lab to make a crown]. There was another crown that I asked him to redo because it also had problems. Wallace made that crown exactly the same. What did I pay for?

Felt welcome when entering. They appreciate your time by honoring your appointment time. All the employees are very friendly and they all work as a team. Dr. Wallace is very engaging and super at his profession. My first great experience while visiting a dentist.

I've been going to Dr. Wallace for over a year. Very friendly and helpful staff! Dr. Wallace is very personable and makes going to the dentist very easy. Would highly recommend!

I broke my back molar and was quite upset about it. I was afraid to eat. I called and they gave me an appointment for four days later but then Rebecca kept working at it and she called me and she said "Can you come in right now, I moved some folks around and we can take you right now."They were kind, gracious, understanding of my uneasiness and gentle throughout the whole process Thank you everyone .

I did write him a letter outlining these problems and he asked me to visit and show him the problems. Wallace did adjust one crown but refused to recrown any of his work. Aside from the poor dentistry, his receptionist committed fraud on my credit card. I authorized 1/2 payment for a crown at an agreed-upon price [the other 1/2 to be paid when crown would be seated]. She said she'd give me a 5% discount if I paid the entire amount. I don't like negotiated medical care as though it's a used car lot and said, 'no thank you.' She then asked 'do you want a receipt?' I said I would get that when the crown was seated. She then proceeded to charge my credit card 230% of what I had authorized. I found out that evening when I went to pay the credit card. I froze the dentistry from using my credit card ever again and wrote Wallace a letter. He then changed the bill [the agreed-upon charge] and as a "courtesy" gave me a discount. The same day that the receptionist overcharged my credit card, I had a crown removed [for replacement]. I asked for that crown. It was taken out of the dental room and was not at the front desk. I forgot about it until I drove away and went back for it. The receptionist left her desk to retrieve the crown - taking about 5 minutes [why?]. She came back and gave me the crown saying "if you take this to a goldsmith you might not find any gold in it." Taking my crown to a goldsmith had not occurred to me, but what did occur to me is that this dentist does take the gold out of a crown or sells the entire crown to a goldsmith - reminiscent of Auschwitz when the Nazis removed gold teeth from the dead people in the gas chambers.

I can highly recommend Dr. Wallace. He is very personable and explains all available options and related costs for each procedure. The office staff is friendly, professional and efficient. We moved to Grass Valley a few years ago and are so thankful to have found this great local dentist!

Dr. Wallace and his team are fantastic. Friendly, efficient and most importantly, clean! I've had some bad dental issues in the past and have been traumatized. Going to the dentist isn't so scary anymore. Thank you, Dr. Wallace!

I was able to see Dr. Wallace same day in his Grass Valley office for a couple teeth where the infection was all the way into the bone! He put me on antibiotics right away. He and his office are very trustworthy, caring and when it's time to pull out these few teeth, I have faith it will be done A+.,-highly recommended dental office.

I highly recommend Grass Valley Dentistry. I ask my neighbor for a recommendation. They said a lot of great things about Dr Wallace. I went on line that evening and made an appointment for my crack tooth. Dr Wallace responded via text for me to come in the next morning. Everyone there was great, very caring and helpful. They saw me right away. I am 64 years old and this has been the best dentist visit ever. Keep in mind that I am getting fitted for a crown.
