Dr. Michael Colangelosdreams of being a dentist began as a small child. Hehad a phenomenal dentist, and he told his parents that when he grew up he was going to be just like that dentist. He worked hard and in 2007 heearned his dental degree fromIndiana University. Throughout his four-year tenure, he was the president of his class and received numerous awards in academics, professionalism and patient care. In September of 2007 his dreams came true when he purchasedGrapevine Dental.
His vision for Grapevine Dental isto provide the best general and cosmetic dental care in Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, and the entire DFW region. He strongly believes that coming to the dentist should be a pleasant experience and no one shouldeverhave to be afraid of the dentist.
A strong believer in furthering his dental education, Dr. Colangelo began offeringInvisalignin 2008 and, after attending theCalifornia Implant Institute, began offeringdental implantsin 2009. He has since attended numerous dental conferences the most recent ones being a week-long live implant continuum in May of 2018 and a 3D guided surgery course in early 2019. He believes this commitment to further education is vital because it allows him to better serve the needs of his patients.
Dr. Colangelo is a member of both theTexas Dental Associationand theAmerican Dental Association. For 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 he was selected by his peers for topDentists and was featured in both Fort Worth Magazine and Southlake Style. To fulfill his strong sense of commitment to the community, he has twice organized adental extractionclinic withDr. BrownfromNorthern Texas Facial and Oral Surgery. In this clinic, Dr. Colangelo offeredfree teeth extractionsand treatment planning for members of the community in need.
Dr. Danesa Nunez is a skilled dentist who is committed to providing high-quality care and comfort to her patients. Along with her prior experience, she also brings a passionate attitude and enthusiastic spirit to Grapevine Dental. She prioritizes her strong communication skills with her patients to educate them about their oral hygiene which will benefit their overall health.
Dr. Nunez achieved her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina in 2014. Following undergraduate education, she proceeded to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2021. While attending the Missouri School of Dentistry, she was a Student Ambassador, a member of Delta Sigma Delta, and part of the Fundraising Chair for the Student National Dental Association.
Madison was born and raised in Texas and earned her education at Tarrant County College. She joined the Grapevine Dental family in November of 2016 and supports Dr. Colangelo during all types of dental procedures.
She's a huge bundle of sunshine at the office and is quick to make sure everyone's day starts off right. As as assistant, one of Madison's greatest strengths is making sure that our patients feel calm and comfortable while they are visiting us.
Spending time with friends and family is my most favorite thing to do in my spare time. My pride and joy is my dapple dachshund Bella, she just turned four in May. She is treated like my child. I also love being outdoors and hiking whenever I get the chance to travel outside of Texas. I enjoy spending time on the lake.
Debras hometown of Batson, TX is a very small town about halfway between Houston and Beaumont. She attended Lamar University to earn her dental hygiene degree and started working at Grapevine Dental in 2006.
I enjoy my co-workers. We are a family here. I have loved getting to know the patients; most of them have been patients for much of their lives. I try to give the best care and information that can help them in the day-to-day care of their oral health.
Originally hailing from Mesquite, TX, Emara graduated from Mesquite High School. Go Skeeters! She went on to graduate from Texas Woman's University with her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene and joined the Grapevine Dental team in 2014.
Emara married her high school sweetheart, and they have a one-year-old son. Together, they love to travel and spend valuable time together. You can also find Emara expressing her creativity by photographing her son her favorite subject.
