Dr. Loos office is located at 224 Baston Road in Martinez, Georgia, and is situated between Furys Ferry Road and Washington Road. It is within a 10 minute drive of Interstate 20 and Riverwatch Parkway.
Dr. Loo and his staff are committed to providing the best care for their patients, and as a result, many new patients to the office are from patient referrals. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver the best care our office can provide.
Dr. Loo was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. He graduated from the Academy of Richmond County, attended Augusta College before graduating from the University of Georgia with Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Pharmacy. Dr. Loo worked his way through dental school as a Revco pharmacist until he graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Loo received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1990.
Dr. Loo is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Eastern District Dental Society, Augusta Dental Society, and the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society. He is past president of both the Eastern District and Augusta Dental Societies. Dr. Loo has been awarded a fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. He has also been awarded an Honorable Fellowship by the Georgia Dental Association, one of the highest honors given for service to the organization. In 2012 he was named the recipient of the Georgia Health Sciences University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) College of Dental Medicine Distinguished Alumnus Award. The Augusta Magazine and Woodward and White Publishing have both named him to their Best Dentist List.
Dr. Loo has served on the School of Dentistrys Building Imperative Steering Committee for the new College of Dental Medicine building. He currently serves on the College of Dental Medicine Continuing Education Committee and the School of Dentistry Alumni Association Board.
Dr. Loo serves as a mentor for students considering a career in dentistry, as well as preceptor (and practicum office) for Georgia Regents University dental hygiene students and Augusta Technical School dental assisting students.
Dr. Loo resides in Evans with his wife Shuishan and daughters Mackenzie and Ashley. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to movies and traveling. He is also an avid Georgia football fan as he spends his fall weekends going to UGA games!
Shannon joined our dental team in 2010 and brought 13 years of dental experience to our practice. She is passionate about helping patients understand their dental treatment needs and finding a time to accommodate their busy schedules. She sincerely wants our patients to feel that we are here for them; there is no challenge that we cant work through to keep their smile healthy! When away from the office, she enjoys her busy life with her husband and 2 daughters.
Rebecca joined our office in April 2018. She is pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and plans to pursue her Masters in Health Services Administration. She enjoys getting to know patients and how she can better serve them. Outside from work she is a mother to her son and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Aniela is one of our part-time hygienists. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2008 with B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She joined our team in August of 2014 after working in pediatrics for over 6 years. Aniela enjoys building relationships with her patients while being gentle and thorough during treatment. She is happily married with two beautiful children and three dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family whether it be a home or vacationing in the mountains or at the beach.
Heather is our full-time dental hygienist and joined our team right after graduation in July 2011. She loves interacting on a personal level with the patients and helping the patient feel at ease. She finds it rewarding to improve their oral health and their smile. Outside of work Heather is very active in her church, including being the youth group worship leader. One of her favorite down-time hobbies is spending time with her Yorkie.
Mandy earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2008 and joined our team upon graduation. She finds joy in serving her patients building relationships with her patients, making them feel comfortable, and improving their individual oral health. She works part time for Dr. Loo while raising her 3 children, Chandler, Claire and Colbie Ann. She enjoys getting outdoors with her family, whether its simply riding bikes or camping or going to the beach.
Courtney graduated from Augusta Tech in 2009 and joined our team in 2010. She has a caring heart and enjoys the one-on-one interaction with patients. Outside of work she is a devoted wife and loving mother to her 2 beautiful daughters.
