Our practice specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and prioritizes creating a comfortable, personalized experience for each patient. We offer a wide variety of services with high expertise that encompass the diagnosis and surgical management of diseases, injuries and defects of both the functional and esthetic aspects of the oral and maxillofacial regions.

We work in a partnership with other dentists, dental specialists, and physicians in the community to help ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
Dr. Grant Hogan graduated from Roswell High School in 1992, and received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Duke University in 1996. He earned his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, won numerous academic awards, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
After graduating from dental school in 2000, Dr. Hogan entered an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern (Parkland Memorial Hospital) in Dallas, Texas. He finished medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2003 and completed his residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery in 2006.
Dr. Hogan is Board Certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology. He holds a position as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University and has privileges at Emory University Hospital Midtown, Saint Josephs Hospital, and Grady Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Hogan keeps abreast of the latest oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques, procedures, and research by attending multiple continuing education courses throughout the year. In addition, he volunteers as an instructor for the oral & maxillofacial surgery residents at Emory University on a regular basis.
Finally, Dr. Hogan was formally one of the oral surgeons on the medical staff of the Atlanta Thrashers and is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the Gwinnett Braves. He maintains a certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Hogan lives in Suwanee with his wife, Rhonda, a pediatric dentist, and their children, Kate and David. In his spare time, he likes to travel, listen to music, work in his yard, exercise, and watch Duke basketball.
The Shalom Foundation operates the Moore Pediatric Surgery Center, which addresses the desperate medical and health needs of poor children in Guatemala by providing multi-specialty surgeries and medical treatment. Volunteer teams from the United States make one-week trips to the Moore Center and work with local Guatemalan medical specialists to provide patients with thorough pre-screening care, surgical treatment, and post-op care within a modern surgical facility.
Dr. Hogan and his wife have had the privilege of making these mission trips since 2018, and members of their office team have accompanied the doctors to assist in delivering care to the Guatemalan children.

Dr. Tyler Haeffs performed a wisdom tooth extraction on my daughter, by the time they finished she felt better than expected. The professionalism performed was unbelievable. Dr. Tyler Haeffs and team took great care and attention to key details during and after the procedure. Josefina, was caring and kind during post surgery and during the follow up appointment.

For non insurance customers, note the following- 1) does not provide initial visit and consultation fees, but a wide range of costs. Hmm could be $200 to $500. 2) cannot provide estimates for specifice procedures. If a salesman told you "Hmm this car could be $15K or $20K. Purchase it and your will find out" Would you? Bet no one in the dental office would buy such a car, but yet they price their dental services as such.

Crooks are charging for full procedure when I have Insurance and want to re-inburse once they receive payment!!!!! Talk about Money hungry take your business elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first time in this office, and felt like i was very well taken care of and helped by Josefina most of all. She was extremely helpful with translating and helping me with my Wisdom teeth removal process. She made the process easier than i expected!! Got my wisdom teeth extracted on Friday morning and everything went smoothly. I was up and going, feeling like normal by Sunday. Dr. Grant called to check up on me Friday night after the surgery which was really nice.

Dr. Hogan and his staff are amazing and I cannot recommend them enough! He took my brother's wisdom teeth out 5 days ago and he has not had any complaints of pain or discomfort. The front staff is very friendly and helpful; the assistants are personable, and Dr. Hogan truly cares for his patients. He even called my brother later that night to check on him. I wish I had known about Dr. Hogan when I needed my wisdom teeth out! I highly recommend him for any oral surgery needs!!!

My experience with Dr. Hogan and his staff was great! It was easy to make an appointment. Both the appointment and procedure were on time. The procedure went very well. My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed over Thanksgiving break and Dr. Hogan was wonderful! He educated us prior to surgery, he called to check on her the night after surgery, he made sure my daughter knew how to best rest and take care of the area for optimal healing. Great experience!
