Dr. Bassett is excited to be living and practicing dentistry in Cheyenne, WY. He grew up in Washington state and spent some time in England where his father was stationed with the Air Force. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Computer Science. There he met his wife, Kristi, from Evanston, WY. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious University of Maryland School of Dentistry, the worlds first dental college. Dr. Bassett enjoys continuing his family tradition of military service, and regularly provides treatment to guard units who need to maintain deployability status here in Wyoming. Having practiced in a variety of dental settings, he brings his broad experience and love of dentistry to the community of Cheyenne.
Dr. Skinner is happy to be a part of the Cheyenne community! He grew up in the beautiful countryside of Star Valley, WY and loved being raised in the mountains. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with his degree in Physiology in May 2014, after which his Doctorate of Dental Surgery was obtained at Omaha, NE in May 2018. Immediately after, he completed a surgical-based general practice residency enhanced training in implant dentistry, oral surgery procedures, and IV sedation. After being out of Wyoming for 6 years, Dr. Skinner is excited to be back again in his home state and is eager to serve the community of Cheyenne with his unique dental experience.

I just switched to Granite Springs Dentistry and I am thrilled and very satisfied that I did. Emily and Genesis, up front, are wonderfull and will answer all your questions in helping to bring you or your family on board. Kate, my new dental hygienist is OUTSTANDING!!!! She ensured I was at ease, comfortable, and that I knew what she was doing at all times, and she explained how I can do better to take care of my teath and keep them healthy. Dr. Bassett checked my teeth, and then actually talked to me to get to know me! Very professional while making me feel like I've been a patient of his for years, which I plan to be! The massaging dental chair was very nice also!!! :)))

I love Granite Springs Dentistry. I chose them because they offer a discounted loyalty program for people who don't have insurance, which I feel is very important and it was the only way I could afford dental care for my family in the past. We have dental insurance now, but I stay here because I love everything about this clinic. The office is nice and comfortable, the hygienists are very kind, friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable, and Dr. Bassett is an excellent dentist. Making appointments is easy and they offer the option to receive text reminders, which is so helpful for a working mom juggling lots of schedules. They are all great with my kids and take excellent care of our teeth. I highly recommend this place!

My appointment today was the most relaxing cleaning I've ever had! The chairs are comfortable and Cassandra is amazing. Felt like a little mini car wash and polish for my teeth. The receptionists are super friendly as well. Highly recommend!

So glad the dentist i orginally had an appointment with failed to actually schedule me. Called from the parking lot of another dentist and granite told me to come in immediately. Went in expecting one extraction and upon examination the DR suggested three due to the lack of care of my last dentist and one upon xrays. Had all 3 done, he numbed me locally as i dont like Nitrous. This was by far the best dentist I have ever been too, i will be back amd recommending them to others! GOOD JOB!! -DJ

Wonderful crew. I find it difficult to recommend hard enough. Dr. Bassett is the most skilled Dentist I have ever had. And I've had immense work done with my teeth. I had a cleaning done last week with Kate. She made me smile the whole time she worked on me. Today's visit was beyond fantastic, as per usual. The front desk ladies (I didn't catch their names) recognized me and had me checked in before I even got to the desk. That was exceptional as this was only my 2nd time in after a long absence. Bassett, his assistant Arty, and I all had great conversation as we waited for the numbing agent for my filling to begin. The work those two did was quick and painless! Very efficient and pleasant. Absolutely recommend. Outstanding outfit!

Shelby was the person who took care of 1st deep clean on my teeth I've had in a lot of years. She was so sweet and friendly, and she even went above and beyond to make sure my 2nd cleansing appt sooner so I can get the 4 dental implants I desperately need. I immediately felt comfortable with her and even gave her a hug before I left. She's amazing!

I am giving Grante Spring Dentistry a 5 star I love all the people who works in the office are very profesional. There all very helpful, fun, loving and tske pride in there work Amerisa is very good at her job. Its nice when they know you by name. A happy and friendly denist off. Love going there.

What a difference at Granite Springs Dentistry compared to other places in town! Friendly staff both at the front desk as well as the hygienists, assistants and dentists. Special shout out to Shelby and Dr Skinner! They got me right in and took time to make sure I was happy with and informed about the procedures and not once did I feel anything but their sincere care for me as a patient.
