They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. They always go above and beyond to provide me with the best dental care and anything else I need. JMC
The entire staff at Granite Dental Group are truly dedicated to serving their patients. But it goes well beyond providing excellent dental treatment and care. Dr. Paul H. Pasternack Dentist, Co-owner Dr. Paul Pasternack graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1984. The following year he completed a hospital-based residency program in Albany, New York.
He has stayed on the leading edge of this rapidly changing profession by his diligent participation in continuing dental education. Among many hundreds of hours of class and hands-on labs, he took part in a year-long study of conventional (wire-type) orthodontics in order to better care for his Invisalign patients. Dr. Pasternack truly enjoys his relationships with his patients and hopes that he and his staff have been able to make at least the dental parts of their lives happier and healthier.
Dr. Pasternack is one of those rare experienced practitioners who does not have the big ego that often seems to accompany it. He is a joy to have as a dentistrespectful, gentle and good-natured. He considers his patients and staff to be his second family.
Dr. Pasternack likes to mountain bike, hike, and spend time on the water. He is the father of two daughters and resides in Durham, NH with his wife, Sandra (University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine 1982) and two cats.
Having spent most of my 30+ year career working in this office has allowed me to foster many trusting and comfortable relationships with patients. My advanced training has enabled me to stay current with the latest dental technologies and procedures. I work with an amazing team of dental health providers with the common goal of providing top quality and compassionate care.
Being a certified dental assistant for over 30 years is one of my greatest accomplishments. This experience has helped me grow and understand people. I really enjoy meeting new people and helping patients feel comfortable here; after all, we are your dental home. When you come into our practice I really take the time to listen to you and help meet your needs. Stop by and say hello!
I enjoy my position in our office as a certified dental assistant. I love to meet new patients as well as catch up with our current patients. We always treat them like they are family. Having spent the first half of my career in a pediatric dentistry office, I particularly enjoy working with children. I try to make everyone feel at home here and have a comfortable, fun dental experience every time.
I joined the Granite Dental Group team in 2017, but have been a hygienist for over 10 years. I enjoy knowing that after a hygiene visit I have helped improve a persons oral health, and therefore their overall health. I aim to work hand-in-hand with my patients, gently guiding them to a healthier mouth and smile. I am continuously furthering my dental knowledge with educational courses and programs to offer the latest techniques and resources to my patients. In my chair you should always feel comfortable, listened-to and in control.
Beginning my dental career as a dental assistant, and transitioning to a dental hygienist provides me with the unique skill set on how to treat your dental needs comprehensively. I enjoy coaching my patients to an improved state of dental health by working with them to achieve their goals. When I am not at the office my husband and I enjoy spending time with our two German Shepherds, Riley and Brody.
People are the best part of my day. As your dental hygienist, I love getting to know my patients, their wants and needs. I enjoy finding that one special tool, idea or approach that will work best for each of my patients. I also have a background in the field of nutrition so I can help counsel patients to live healthier lives. As part of the dental staff, I have had the opportunity to continuously acquire the latest skills and techniques to stay current. Of course you still need to brush and floss!
