Dr. Smith grew up only a few miles from the office, graduating with honors from Bella Vista High School, where he was a three-sport athlete and varsity team captain. He went on to UC Santa Barbara, where he was an Honor student, earning a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in only three years. Most importantly he met his wife Stacie at UCSB, where they both worked as scientific scuba divers. They were married in 2011 and have two amazing daughters that make life a never-ending outdoor adventure, art project, or both.
Dr. Smith is fortunate to have been practicing dentistry since 2008. He earned his doctorate and completed advanced residency training at UCLA, where he also taught students and residents for over ten years. He has received many professional accolades and is board-certified in General Dentistry, an achievement equalled by fewer than 1% of all dentists nationwide.Dr. Smith continues to stay at the top of his game. He completes over 150 hours of continuing education every year, teaches courses for other dentists, and has published several scientific articles. He continues to learn so he can provide you with the best, most comfortable dental care possible.
Vicki is the Office Manager with almost 40 years of dental experience. She has been with the practice since 2011. Her combined clinical and front office experience allows her to help the patients understand all aspects of dentistry. She is the go to person for all insurance questions. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Randy, of 30 years and her two children Tyler and Haylee. Outside of the office she enjoys hiking, camping and traveling with her family and playing with her grand dog, Gigi. A home improvement project is always in the works!
Jeanette is a Registered Dental Assistant EF. She has worked at Granite Bay Dentistry since 1996 She has a great relationship with all of the patients in the office. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Kevin and they have raised two children, Josh and Elizabeth. The highlights of her life are her six grandchildren, Simon, Sylas, Maddox, Hunter, Colton and Easton. She enjoys spending quality time with all of them. For fun she enjoys park time with the grandchildren and her dog Faleasha, hiking and watching her husband play baseball.
Angie has been with the practice since 2019 as a brand new hygienist. She has won over her patients with her loving and fun personality and her excellent hygiene knowledge. She started her career as a dental assistant then continued on the hygiene school in Boisie, Idaho. She recently married the love of her liife and purchased a home in the Folsom area. The second love of her life is her puppy, Aspen. She enjoys traveling, working in her yard and spending quality time with her family.
Kandy is originally from Phoenix, Arizona. She has lived in the Sacramento area for over 26 years. She received her dental assistant. training from Western Career College and worked as a dental assistant for several years before she transitioned to the front office in 2008 at an office where both Vicki and Kim worked. She has 11 years of front office experience and has been a great addition to the office. Kandy enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her daughter and her two granddaughters.
