Dr. Larissa Bishop graduated from Kalamazoo College in 1996 and is a 2000 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Kent County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has also served as president of the West Michigan District Dental Society and serves on multiple Michigan Dental Association committees.

Dr. Bishop has been a product evaluator for the Dental Advisor, a consumer report for the profession. She is part of the Spear Study Club and Spear Education. Dr. Bishop is an avid runner, and enjoys yoga, golfing, and gardening. Larissa lives in the community of Byron Center and enjoys spending her free time with her husband, three young daughters, and their golden mountain doodle.

Dr. Rebecca Vander Baan graduated from Calvin College in 2003 and is a 2007 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Kent County Dental Society.

After practicing on the east side of the state for a year, Dr. Vander Baan moved back home where she has practiced in the Grand Rapids area since 2008. She joined the Grandville Dental Health Center team in 2014. Dr. Vander Baan is active in Spear Education for advanced dental training and participates in a local Spear Study Club. She has also served multiple terms for the Michigan Dental Association House of Delegates. Dr. Vander Baan enjoys all kinds of outdoor sports and loves to travel and cook. She also enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two kids, and two terriers.

Abbey grew up in West Michigan and went to Jenison High School. She graduated from Ferris State University and became an RDH in 2018. Abbey started at Grandville Dental Health Center in 2021. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and being outside in the sun.

Ashley graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with an RDA in 2010 and joined the Grandville Dental Health Center that summer. She enjoys running, photography, and spending time with her two young children.

Karis graduated from the University of MissouriKansas City. Her husbands work relocated their family to Michigan and in 2006 she started subbing at the Grandville Dental Health Center. In 2014, she joined the team by working part-time as one of the five hygienists. Both of her daughters graduated from Grandville High School and attend college in Kalamazoo. Outside of enjoying her professional career, she likes reading, yoga, and sunny days.

Sallie started her dental assisting career in Petoskey in 1995. She has lived and worked in Colorado and California before starting with our office in 2006. She lives in Grand Rapids, has a dog, and enjoys the great outdoors.

Shannan is an RDA who has been with the Grandville Dental Health Center since graduating from Grand Rapids Community College in 2000. Shannan lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, three children, and their dog Bauer. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking photos of her kids, and crafting.

Shannon graduated from Grand Rapids Community College in 1994 and joined the Grandville Dental Health Center that same year. She enjoys scrapbooking, golf, running with her dog, and traveling with her husband.

Becca graduated from Grand Rapids Community Colleges dental hygiene program in 2015. She started working at the Grandville Dental Health Center in January 2016. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two dogs.

Melissa started assisting in 2004 in Muskegon. She moved to Byron Center in 2015 and joined the Grandville Dental Health Centers team in 2016. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and outdoor activities.

Joslyn graduated from Grand Rapids Community College as a registered dental hygienist in 2018 and joined the Grandville Dental Health Center that same year. Before becoming a dental hygienist, Joslyn was a dental assistant for two years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and being active outdoors!

Sara has been employed in the dental field since 1999. She started off as a dental assistant and then made the transition to the front of the office. She joined the Grandville Dental Health Center team in 2017. She lives in Byron Center with her husband, two children, and their dog Charlie. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in her church.

Rhiannon grew up in the Kalamazoo area and moved to Hudsonville with her husband and three kids in 2016. She has worked in a dental office for over 20 years and loves working with people. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys teaching Sunday School to high school students.
