I love helping my patients maintain their teeth, healthy mouths, and smiles. Its also a pleasure to help restore worn and neglected mouths to good health, and to improve yoursmile cosmeticallyto increase confidence.

As a dentist, I am able to help my patients every day. By focusing on their specific situation, and combining the latest technology and treatmentswith my years of experience, Im able to assist each person to attain optimal oral health.

Along with my team, I emphasize patient education, preventive care, and minimallyinvasive treatments. These elements, working together, result in patients who are engaged and enthusiastic about caring for their dental health, and who have healthy smiles.

Each year I participate in many hours of continuing education courses, locally, regionally, and nationally, through the Academy of General Dentistry. This ensures I am informed of the newest technological options, treatments, and dental materials. My patients are guaranteed access to the best careand treatment experienceavailable.

One of my continuing education interests isCEREC single-visit crowns. CEREC crowns and onlays are beautiful tooth restorations that can be done in one day, without old-style, uncomfortable impressions.

I grew up in Kittanning, PA and now live on the north side of Pittsburgh with my wife Linda. I have two adult children: Kelsey is my daughter, and Colin is my son. When Im not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love physical exercise and being outdoors, especially when Im hiking, bike riding, or skiing. Im also passionate about travel and seeing the world.

Dr. Cowley earned a bachelor of science at Wheeling Jesuit University and a doctorate at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. She also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she had the opportunity to expand her formal training and knowledge in the treatment of complex cases.

In order to provide the best, most up-to-date treatment to her patients, Dr. Cowley is an active member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys attending continuing education courses on local and national levels. It is also important to Dr. Cowley to be involved in community-based outreach. She has treated patients at the Mission of Mercy dental clinics in both Maryland and Virginia, has volunteered at the Special Olympics, completed and externship with the Indian Health Service in South Dakota, and went on a service trip to Guatemala to provide dentistry to those with no access. She looks forward to continuing her volunteer work in the future.

Zelienople reminds Dr. Cowley of the small West Virginia town where she grew up, mostly because of the many friendly and hard-working people she has met. She find dentistry to be a rewarding career because she enjoys forming long-lasting relationships with her patients while striving to offer high quality dental care. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, running, and spending time with friends and family.
