Dr. Craig Grandgenett was born and raised in north central Iowa. He attended Wartburg College in Waverly, IA and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Craig completed research in the area of dental materials in the Dows Institute for Dental Research. Following completion of the dental program, Dr. Craig practiced in Davenport and Iowa City prior to moving to Ames.
Dr. Craig has a strong belief in the importance of continuing education. He has advanced his training by completing the core curriculum at the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL. Course work included clinical and laboratory instruction in the areas of cosmetics, function, TMJ disorders, complex restorative cases, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Craig isa member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Des Moines Distric Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, serving as past president . He is involved with the United Way of Story County, serving two terms on the board of directors. He stays involved in Boy Scouts with his sons, serving as a den leader. He coaches Ames Little League baseball and flag football. In his spare time, he enjoys any activities involving his kids.

We had the bad experience here of being denied care because we're on state insurance. We saw Dr. Debbie for years and then moved out of the area. When we returned and sought dental care here, we were rejected due to insurance. So basically my kids don't deserve continuity of care because we're low income.

Two words--the best. This power couple has taken care of our family for 20 years. They are both patient, kind, thorough and conscientious. In short, they are everything one could ask for in a medical professional. You will be hard pressed to find a more qualified and friendly staff from top to bottom. We all actually ENJOY going to the dentist and that says all you need to know about this dental office.

Dr. Craig Grandgenett did a wonder job at a filling I needed redone. Part of it broke and he fixed it in a very timely manner. He's very professional and wonderful surgeon! I highly recommend if you need a dentist please see him and his staff. His staff are always so nice and attentive! When my son was younger he saw Dr. Debbie Grandgenett. She was great with Him. Such a wonderful smile on her face as well as great care! Wonderful pediatric Dentist! Thanks for taking good care of our teeth!

I had to find a dentist when we moved here 5 years ago. I expected to try a couple before I found one I was comfortable with. This was my only stop. Dr. Craig does great work and the staff is great. I trust his recommendations. Everything is explained so well and I appreciate that I never feel pressured to have procedures or purchase products.

The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Craig and Debbie both take excellent care of are whole family. They let you know of options if you need them and always have your best interest at heart. I couldn't think of taking my family anywhere else!

Dr. Grandgenett and all of his staff are the best! They have taken someone who would have done absolutely anything before going to the dentist into a person who actually enjoys the experience...even through a root canal!!
