Dr. Craig Grandgenett was born and raised in north central Iowa. He attended Wartburg College in Waverly, IA and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Craig completed research in the area of dental materials in the Dows Institute for Dental Research. Following completion of the dental program, Dr. Craig practiced in Davenport and Iowa City prior to moving to Ames.
Dr. Craig has a strong belief in the importance of continuing education. He has advanced his training by completing the core curriculum at the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL. Course work included clinical and laboratory instruction in the areas of cosmetics, function, TMJ disorders, complex restorative cases, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Craig isa member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Des Moines Distric Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, serving as past president . He is involved with the United Way of Story County, serving two terms on the board of directors. He stays involved in Boy Scouts with his sons, serving as a den leader. He coaches Ames Little League baseball and flag football. In his spare time, he enjoys any activities involving his kids.
