Dr. Bakers goal as a dentist is to provide the highest quality of dentistry in a comfortable, inviting environment. In schooling, he majored in Spanish and studied some engineering before graduating with his dental degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Going into dentistry was a perfect fit for Dr. Baker because he loves to teach and work with his hands. For him, dentistry is fun because he enjoys learning more about the newest techniques so he can provide the highest quality care to patients as if they were his own family.

Continuing education is very important to Dr. Baker. He has completed hundreds of hours and he has received advanced training in ClearCorrect, dental veneers, oral cancer screenings, and implant placement and restorations. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Hispanic Dental Association (for being fluent in the Spanish language). Dr. Bakers goal is to work with patients and educate them on their treatment needs and help them understand the care they need using images from X-rays and intraoral cameras.

Dr. Baker met his wife while attending Brigham Young University. He enjoys spending time with his family, eating at locally owned restaurants, watching movies, running, and performing dentistry. Dr. Baker always looks for ways to serve his community, is also actively involved in his church, and provides dental humanity services worldwide. We invite you to visit Grand Trails Dental in Spring, Texas, so you can meet our dentist who loves helping patients with the latest techniques in dental care.

DryShield combines several dental technologies into a single, easy-to-use machine. This device acts as a high-suction evacuator, a saliva ejector, a bite block, a tongue shield, and an oral pathway protector all at once. Because of its breakthrough in dental isolation, it provides much greater comfort in treatments, as well as helping to keep our work environment dry, clean, and visible. This helps our dentist to work more efficiently, reducing the time you spend in the chair and streamlining your treatment.

The DryShield mouthpiece is made from soft, flexible medical-grade silicone, which contours comfortably to your mouth within seconds. Each mouthpiece features an interchangeable bit block, giving you a firm and comfortable place to rest. This system also has a powerful suction to keep your mouth clear, and multiple holes and passageways in the mouthpiece to efficiently direct air and water flow for increased patient safety.
