An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Stay Away! Corporate Dental offices are crooks! I had to switch insurance & had to switch dentists as well so I came here. (My back story is I see a dentist twice a year for check up & cleaning. No other issues for over a decade.). I came here and the dentist recommended some sort of extra extravagant cleaning. A lot of extra money needed to be paid for this. I saw the breakdown of how they charge $400 for "irrigation", which was only when she sprayed water! I don't recommend going to these corporate dental offices but to an actual dentist that owns their business. Usually the front desk people & dentist are friendly & kind & actually want your business, but this was more of a defensive Staff that seemed annoyed. I questioned why I was needing an extravagant cleaning & they started talking defensively. When cleaning, the dentist doesn't suction enough and the water splashes everywhere & down to my face, neck, & shirt. With one of the sharp tools she poked my gums a couple of times & I yelped in pain. I won't be returning.

Going to the dentist can be very uncomfortable. My first visit was ok, you know with the first time patient"good behavior".dance!!!...had a "deep" clean, x-rays, treatment plan. The female Dentist half cleaned my teeth...could still feel tarter build up. No flossing was done, after being told it was going to be. She allowed dribble to run down my face without wiping it away. Was rough when handling my mouth. They quote you prices that are not true when you return for future visits. The dentist who pulled my tooth was rude, rough, and inconsiderate of my anxiety after I told him I suffered with it. Instead of reassuring me he asked if I wanted laughing gas. The assistants are....wonderful. I do not recommend the place at all. They only got a star because of the assistants.

Services rendered were okay, but techs/hygienists are primarily trainees and dentists stick around for a month or two. WORST billing department ever. I've been working on getting a refund for an overpayment for several MONTHS, and still no resolution despite calling and talking to Teresa 5+ times.

My first time here was today. Came in today for a deep clean. I was nervous. The entire staff is super nice and friendly. The dentist was gentle with the deep clean and eased all my fears.

Extremely poor service. Change dentists almost monthly. Wife had 3 tooth bridge built, broke already! Modern refuses to fix it. We are out $4000 and now have to go to a GOOD dentist to get new bridge to replace this failed one. Poor operation here. Asked for regional manager to call us. Never got the call. Don't expect it now. We called Pacific Dental Services, the parent company. Were told someone would call us to discuss. No one ever called us. Modern in Denton is MUCH better. This GP store is not so good.

Teresa at the front desk is so sweet and inviting! She was able to get me checked in, offered options for whitening, and provided a comprehensive explanation for my billing and made sure to connect with my insurance. Precious is very knowledgeable and friendly! She makes sure you are comfortable throughout your visit and treatment and was more than happy to answer any questions I had. Dr. Cynthia Uzoukwu is a master of her craft. She took the time to walk me through my X-Rays and explain any problem areas I may have and ways to resolve them most effectively! She is so kind and professional; I had built up anxiety about getting a filling and the needles/shot for numbing but felt nothing when she did it. She is definitely a perfectionist and it shows in her results; I am so happy with how my teeth turned out! Dr. Uzoukwu provided short term and long term dental health options for me and encouraged me to come back if anything seemed off before my next visit. The office itself is clean, well-organized, and easy to find!

I am a new patient and this location was phenomenal. Dr. Cynthia Uzoukwu was very helpful and also intentional with her treatment plan. Everything that she explained to me was with clarity and she also offered me options I didn't even know existed for treatment. I am very excited to finally find a great dentist who is knowledgeable and passionate about their job. Also, the office manager Theresa was really nice and welcoming. The dental assistant Precious, was great as well. Overall, the team was efficient.

Teresa is always so friendly when I come into the office. I swear the whole staff would be able to make anybody feel comfortable coming to the dentist. I would definitely recommend this office to anybody and I'm glad I started coming here myself.
