Dentist and hygienist are awesome. Office staff that does billing, not so much. I was told what I was going to need to pay and they had me pay before they even did the work. Then a month later I got a bill for 106.00 bucks. I called and told them there must be a mistake because I paid before. I was told she would look into it. Never heard back. Now months later I just got a bill from a collection agency for way over $200.00.

It started with Chelsea being cordial, down to earth and professional in making my appointment. Staff were professional warm highly skilled and took time to answer happily all questions. From my own time there I can gladly recommend Grand Ledge Smiles.

I had a great first visit to GL Smiles yesterday! I usually don't like going to the Dentist, but the staff was so friendly they put me at ease right away. Chelsea in reception, Geanette the tech and Dr Bates were professionals, engaging, and thoughtful. Highly recommend!

I would recommend Doc Grimm, There office little we'll say rustic, where the staff and Doc have real down to earth attitudes, I was made comfortable, and cared for.

My dental hygienist there are always friendly, educational, and do the best job cleaning my teeth to feel great! The receptionist is also amazing at her job! Thanks ladies for all your hard work and taking care of my daughter and I.

Dentists and hygienists are solid. Office staff is lacking - especially the billing/insurance specialist. I got billed repeatedly for charges that she claimed were submitted and denied by insurance. However, insurance had no record of the claim. This occurred several times. Was also told they submitted a case to Delta Dental to determine coverage. As we've delayed setting follow up appt until we knew out of pocket costs, the insurance specialist told me she submitted the case and that Delta Dental would follow up with me directly. After speaking to Delta Dental, they have no record of submission. I paid over $190 for preventative services that should be covered at 100%. I was told by the billing/insurance specialist that their practice was not in network for Delta Dental of MA. Delta Dental was shocked and said this provider is in network. It appears that the billing/insurance specialist either doesn't have a clue or doesn't want to exert herself. Either way, this practice will lose our business as we can't afford to pay out of pocket for services that we know are covered.

This practice has gone downhill since Dr. Troshak retired. Long waits, rude phone calls, & inexperienced office staff are the norm not the exception! After 24 years we will be seeking a new dentist.

Very unpleasant hygienist was aggressively mean the entire appointment, everything was addressed except the one issue the appointment was made for. Massive waste of time and money

My new Dentist was friendly and to the point. I appreciated his honesty and frankness about my concerns. My receptionist was friendly as well as my hygienist. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Broke a back molar at lunch. Called everywhere for an emergency appointment. Some dentists who advertised "emergency dental work" wouldn't even take new patients. Most clinics' idea of treating an emergency was an appointment 1-2 weeks away. When I first called GLS, they had an appointment 2 days after my accident. When I called back to take this, they were able to fit me in earlier the next day at 9:30am. I ended up having the repair done within 24hrs of breaking the tooth. I am so very happy and pleased with everything GLS did for me. Thank you very much.

They were so great getting my husband in so quickly. Which is hard to do these days. He did wait for about 90 mi uses before being seen, but we were grateful they got us in.

Got three teeth pulled in Lansing location that went smoothly, and went to the grand ledge location for a deep cleaning. The hygienist there Sierra was absolutely amazing an did everything she could to make sure I have as comfortable. The only person I want cleaning my teeth from now on. The case manager Chelsea was also great extremely helpful and professional. Would definitely go to smiles again.
