For Dr. Yanez, its hard to pick just one thing she loves about her job! One particularly rewarding aspect of being a dentist is the ability to develop long-lasting relationships with her patients. She finds a lot of pride in the trust and confidence her patients and their families place in her. She has been a part of the Grand Dental team serving patients for nearly a decade.
Dr. Yanezs upbringing provided her a firsthand opportunity to see how dentistry can change lives. Dr. Yanezs mother was the original dental assistant for the first Grand Dental office in Franklin Park. As a child, Dr. Yanez grew up hearing about her moms experiences in the dental field and she was inspired to make the same kind of positive impact on others. As she grew older, she took it upon herself to explore the different facets of dentistry: including science, art, teamwork and healthcare. Her parents were incredibly supportive of her interests and she tries to honor their dedication every day when caring for her patients.
Another unique part about Dr. Yanezs upbringing was the opportunity she had growing up to travel to many different parts of the world. When she was younger her father's career required them to travel around the world for a few years. Over the course of those years Dr. Yanez lived in places like Chile, Taiwan, Mexico, Poland, Denmark, and Australia. With such a diverse background and wide range of cultural experiences it is no surprise that Dr. Yanez treats each of her patients with sensitivity and understanding.
Dr. Yanez attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for both her undergraduate and post graduate studies. She has a background in Biological Sciences and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Although she practices General Dentistry and treats patients of all ages, she really enjoys meeting her patients from a young age and being a part of their oral health as they grow up. Today, she is also Invisalign certified and trained in laser dentistry. She regularly pursues continuing education to keep her clinical skills sharp.
Dr. Yanez is happily married to her high school sweetheart. They have three beautiful children, two of whom are twins. Their family also includes a house full of pets because Dr. Yanez is a big animal lover. She currently has three dogs, a cat, a bunny, a fish, and a few backyard chickens! As a family, they value their time together and enjoy a variety of activities, especially if it involves getting fresh air outside. They love fishing, hiking, gardening, exploring local attractions, or simply having fun in the backyard. Her personal hobbies include crafting, reading a good book, caring for her chickens, and gardening.
Dr. Raibulet went to dental school at Midwestern University. Today, he has a comprehensive background that includes dental implant placement, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery. Recently, he completed a year-long fellowship through Dental XP that specifically focused on dental implants. Restorative dentistry is also a passion of his, and hes constantly looking for ways to provide patients with the most up to date, long-term treatment options.
Dr. Raibulet met his wife Nedina at Midwestern University. They have a Corgi and are expecting their first child at the end of March of 2021! Together, they love traveling, trying new culinary experiences, and spending quality time with their families. They have a multi-cultural background that spans from Romania to Montenegro. In fact, Dr. Raibulet was originally born in Fagaras, Romania only 45 minutes away from Bran Castle in Transylvania, which is linked to the Dracula legend!
Grand Dental Lake Zurich is pleased to have an in-house orthodontist, Dr. Sandler, with over 30 years of experience in creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Transforming his patients appearance, confidence, and oral health through orthodontic treatment is incredibly rewarding to Dr. Sandler.
Dr. Sandler completed both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and his Certificate of Orthodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry. Throughout his career he has consistently pursued continuing education to keep his clinical skills up to date and expand his field of knowledge. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Orthodontists and the International Association of Orthodontics.
Dr. Sandler and his wife, Linda, have two grown children. Katherine lives in Chicago and works for the Associated Press, while Thomas works for ADT and resides in Florida. He enjoys watching professional sports and maintains his loyalty to the New York Mets and the New Jersey Devils. He is also deeply devoted to his English Bulldog, Daisy Duke Sandler, who he admits is quite the Diva.

I was a walk in, first appointment with a throbbing toothache hoping to get it looked at . As a snowbird and My regular dentist in Orlando, I needed immediate care and treatment. After 15 minutes of paperwork I was able to see Dr Yanez. A couple of digital x-rays later, Dr Yanez explained my options and we agreed a root canal was in my future. No one likes going to the dentist, but Her professional staff and modern/latest technology made a bad situation much easier to manage. I would highly recommend Dr Yanez and Grand Dental to anyone.

Always a great experience with the staff here Vanessa is AMAZING as usual and made my 16mo Madison feel So welcomed and comfortable for her first teeth polish. She loved the experience and look forward to continue bringing her here for her dental care

I always feel welcomed from the moment I enter the office. The front desk people are always helpful. Vanessa, my favorite hygienist, keeps my teeth pearly white! She always explains everything and gives me tips to keep my teeth healthy! The dentist is caring and patient; sure to answer all my questions. A wonderful team that care about my healthy teeth.

Grand Dental goes above and beyond in terms of the whole dental experience. From the moment you walk through the doors you are greeted by name and welcomed. After being seated in the examination room, I was lucky enough to have Vanessa start the cleaning process. Her personality and professionalism had me completely at ease within to first 2 minutes of sitting down. She was so knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations it was clear to see her passion for the field. Dr. Yanez completed my exam, gave me her honest professional opinion, and made scheduling a breeze. 10 out of 10 experience, would recommend to any family or friend.

Where do I start? place is very clean and modern. One of the front desk girls is very nice however the rest are not. I will not be commenting on all of the dentist but on the one I've seen 2x now. Do not use Dr. Yanez, she will sit and explain everything making you think she is a top notch dentist who is concerned about your well being. Believe me, she is not. She is just doing this job for a paycheck. She only cares about making money and getting you into the office 100x because every visit costs you 100$ on top of what you're there for. I got roots pulled out by her ( I am terrified of the dentist and explained that to her) it took her 2.5 hours for removing of roots. Put that aside, what actually made me write the review is the fact that I went in with pain on my lower right side. I had a cavity I knew I needed fixing on it, a root canal and to remove my wisdom. I wasn't sure which tooth was causing the pain and I needed help same day. Sure thing they got me in, and did "a full exam" with pictures and explaining and telling me she doesn't know where the pain is coming from, that I don't need antibiotics because none of the teeth are infected. Told me we can start with the cavity tooth the following day and to put a crown on it. (Who the hell puts a crown on a good tooth that needs a cavity?!?) Fast forward to afternoon, I get excruciating pain so I found an emergency dentist. They took me in and did X-rays (just as Dr. Yanez did, like 12 different pictures). Turns out, "the cavity" was an actual infected root canal that had to be treated, and the root canal that she said wasn't infected actually had an abscess infection on the bottom of it!! The emergency dentist did both root canals in an hour and all pain was gone. How can someone be so hungry for money? All she cared about was making 1600$ for a freaking crown that would've killed me if she would've done it without performing a root canal. And she didn't even bother telling me I had an abscessed tooth!!! Worst dentist ever! She can keep waiting for me to give her 60$ "for my missed appointment for a crown" I always died because of this B***H. Stay away!!! They pay for their reviews or most of them are for teeth cleaning. You need actual work done look elsewhere or at least try a different dentist there.

She really walked me through the whole procedure and took her time, these people really seem to be there for the patients. I am definitely switching permanently from my old place to here.
