In 2000, he received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. While there, he graduated Cum Laude and was honored by his peers by being elected class president. He also served on a variety of committees including being the only student class member of the schools curriculum committee, devoted to creating the best possible dental education for the Universitys students.

Following dental school, Dr. Dixon completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the North Shore-LIJ Health System. In his final year there he was distinguished by being appointed Chief Resident. Upon completing his specialty training Dr. Dixon began treating patients in private practice. He was also invited to take a position at North Shore-LIJ teaching postgraduate candidates and future pediatric dentists.

Dr. Dixon served for 12 years as the Director of Dentistry at St. Marys Hospital for Children where he cared for children with special needs. He has maintained his attending position at North Shore-LIJ and was awarded 'Attending of the Year' honors in 2004-2005. In 2012, Dr. Dixon was appointed as a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and has admitting privileges at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Dixon is a member of the Craniofacial Team at Weill Cornell dedicated to the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with Craniofacial Disorders. Dr. Dixon is proud to have been caring for patients for over eight years at his private practice in Gramercy Park. He lives in Gramercy with his wife Stella and their daughter Audrey, who has lost 17 teeth, and son Robbie now has 8 teeth!!!

After a career in client services in Boston, Dr. Paires decided to pursue dentistry to escape the confines of a desk and interact with people on a more personal level. She subsequently graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Paires participated in a number of outreach programs that included visits to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Paires completed her pediatric dental residency and served as Chief Resident during her last year at Cohen Children's Medical Center of NY/Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Her training has given her extensive experience in all aspects of pediatric dental care, including caring for infants and patients with special needs.

Dr. Vanessa Coupet received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and Dental Degree from Tufts University. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Dentist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Coupet also serves as the dental consultant at St. Mary's Hospital for Children at Bayside, NY.

Dr. Peri Weingarten was born and raised in the Midwest. She attended Indiana University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree with an emphasis in chemistry and biology. She went on to complete her dental education at Indiana University School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Peri then completed a general practice residency at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, treating patients of all ages who were medically compromised in a hospital setting. She remained in the Bronx as she pursued her career in pediatric dentistry. She received her certificate as a pediatric dentist at St. Barnabas Hospital, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Peri is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also certified by the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments and certified in CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Dr. Peri has a strong passion for community outreach and has volunteered locally and abroad in Guatemala and Israel. Her goal is to provide high-quality dental care for children in a compassionate manner. In her spare time, Dr. Peri enjoys exercising, trying new restaurants, and running after all five of her nephews.

He is President of the American Lingual Orthodontic Association and an international lecturer of orthodontics. He earned two bachelor's degrees from the University of Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he was elected by his peers as Class President and Chair of the Ethics Committee. He practiced general dentistry in Suffolk County and Manhattan before earning his Orthodontic Degree at the prestigious Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Grazina often volunteers his time to advance the profession and provide dental services to people both locally and around the world. Ask him about his trips to Brazil and Vietnam!

Ashleigh brings over 16 years of dental experience to Gramercy Pediatric Dentistry as the Business Manager and first established her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2005 where she received her training from the Ninth District Dental Auxiliary Training Center. Fun fact: Dr. Jeremy and Ashleigh have been colleagues for over 16 years and opened up GPD together in 2010! She is a proud member of the AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Managers) and continues her education by periodically attending dental conferences, meetings, and lectures throughout the nation. Originally from the Bronx, Ashleigh now resides on Staten Island, NY with her 7 year old daughter, Aurora, and their cat, Gandalf the Grey, and rescue dog, Cosmo. Her hobbies include traveling and reading.

Jamie joined the team as an office receptionist in August 2015 and now manages our social media channels. She received her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Western Michigan University and has over 15 years of experience working in healthcare. Growing up as a military child, Jamie was born in the Philippines and had the opportunity of living in Japan for six years! She had to relocate a couple years ago from New York to the Midwest with her husband, their 4-year old son, and rescue dog, Baxley and although she currently lives in another state, Jamie is so grateful to still be part of the GPD team! Her hobbies include photography, hiking, and painting.

Loren joined the team as an office receptionist in November 2019 and is now our Brooklyn Office Manager. She studied Psychology at Morgan State University, and although she is newer to the dental field, she has a strong background in customer service with over 11 years of experience working in the hospitality industry. While Loren loves being social and enjoys dancing, hiking, art classes, board games, and going to live sporting events, she also loves catching up on some R&R time and being able to binge watch movies, crochet, read, and cuddle her dog, Winter! Loren is a total mamas girl and loves spending time with her mom too. She is a native New Yorker and currently lives in the Lower East Side.

Prathana joined the team in February 2021 as an Office Receptionist. She has studied Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice at Borough of Manhattan Community College and John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She also has 5+ years of exceptional customer service experience. Although she was raised in Queens, Prathana's birth place is in Nepal. In her spare time, she enjoys baking (perfecting her croissant recipe), watching movies, and finding new delicious foods. Her parents, two little brothers, and pet rabbit named Max also keep her entertained and busy when she's not in the office!

Jennifer came on board in November 2021 as an Office Receptionist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013 from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor 's degree in Music Education. Jennifer has an extensive background working with children as she has taught K-12 music classes and worked as a camp counselor during the summers in Maine. She also has experience working for US Family Health Plan as a member services team member before moving to New York in 2017. Jennifer is a singer and actress specializing in voice-over as well as film and television. She has appeared in multiple seasons of 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' as well as the upcoming HBO show 'The Gilded Age.' She has two sisters who also work in film and television, Sarah who she lives with here in New York, and Jamie who works out in Hollywood. In her spare time, Jennifer also enjoys keeping busy with arts and craft projects.

Jessica joined on board in March 2021 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in September 2020 as a Registered Dental Hygienist with a degree of Associate in Applied Science with Honors. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jessica has experience with working as a dental assistant for 6 years at a pediatric dental office and found interest and inspiration in dentistry when she started realizing how it becomes a form of fulfillment and reward when patients begin to value and realize the importance of oral care and health. In her spare time, Jessica loves to style outfits and spend quality time with her family and friends and hopes to travel around the world with her sister!

Helen joined our team in September 2021 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Being raised in Chicago, Helen first had exposure to the dental field working as an orthodontic assistant while she was in the process of obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. When she moved to New York, she soon decided to switch careers after discovering that she really enjoyed being a healthcare provider more. Continuing as an orthodontic assistant, Helen attended NYU for Dental Hygiene and in Spring of 2020 she obtained her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She aspires to continually contribute to creating a safe and gentle environment for all patients alike. As a huge homebody, Helen loves to stay home and read or watch movies and tv dramas. Once in a long blue moon, she loves to venture out and try new foods and places. One of her favorite mottos is to always try everything at least once!

Carol joined the team in November of 2021 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She attended CUNY New York City College of Technology and obtained her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2010. She then went on to complete her Bachelors in Biology at CUNY Queens College in 2021. Carol worked in General Dentistry for 10 years and always looked forward to seeing her patients that were children. Soon after the pandemic began, she pursued temp openings at pediatric offices and it was at that time she decided she was ready to shift her career from primarily adults to children. Carol is a fan of the outdoors and loves kayaking, swimming, scuba diving, skiing, cycling and camping. Recently she's picked up bird watching and has found a deep peace in long hikes during migration season. Carol has even participated in the Coney Island Polar Plunge two times and looks forward to doing it again! Although she enjoys staying active, she also loves sleeping in, puzzles, catching up on podcasts, and hitting up new and favorite restaurants.

Joanne joined on board as a Dental Assistant in January 2018. She is certified in Early Childhood Education and has over twelve years of experience as a dental assistant. Originally from the Philippines, Joanne now lives in Jersey City, NJ with her mom. Her hobbies include traveling, swimming, basketball, reading, and writing short stories.

Gabby joined the team in October 2020 as a Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator. She has been working in the dental field since 2012 and started her career at the front desk. She soon realized her passion was being chairside with the patients and went on to complete her x-ray license so that she could begin assisting Doctors. Although Gabby is originally from Staten Island, she moved back to the city over a year ago after living in Los Angeles for four years. She loves being back home and spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephews. During her free time, Gabby loves music, the beach, going to concerts and live theater, and although she loves being out and about, it doesn't take away from how much she loves staying home and watching Netflix with her dog, Mia!

Deyvi Joined our team as a Dental Assistant in July 2021. He is currently working on his B.S. in Biology and has over 2 years of experience as a dental assistant. Deyvi is originally from Caracas, Venezuela and is currently living in Brooklyn with his cat, Billie! His hobbies include going to Broadway shows, museums, dancing, traveling, and playing video games.

Sana joined our team in October 2021 as a Dental Assistant. She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College. Sana's interest in dentistry was first sparked by her experience as a patient at her Orthodontists' office. She always looked forward to her monthly visits and was always curious about the dental assistant's responsibilities. This curiosity led her to ultimately choose dentistry as a career path. She loves how artistic dentistry can be and sometimes catches herself admiring the incredible work of our expert Dentists! While taking prerequisites for dental school in undergrad, Sana began working as a pediatric dental assistant in August 2020. She really enjoys this speciality of dentistry as she loves working with children; this also helped pave her decision to pursue pediatric dentistry when in dental school. Sana is currently studying for the Dental Admission Test and will be applying to dental schools this year! Being raised in NY her entire life, she loves exploring the city in the lens of a tourist and finding new hidden spots. Some of her hobbies include trying new restaurants with friends and family. She also enjoys downtime and binge watching her favorite TV shows.
