Daniel Rome is a Missouri native and he graduated from The University of Missouri with honors in biochemistry and a minor in medicinal chemistry. His passion for dentistry led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2010. He immediately moved to Brooklyn, NY and completed a year long general practice residency at New York Methodist Hospital, an affiliate of Weill-Cornell. This extra year allowed him to treat complex surgical cases in implant placement and provide comprehensive dental care to medically compromised patients. The hospital dental faculty awarded him the top resident award for outstanding achievement in clinical dentistry .

Dr.Rome has earned scholar status with the Dawson academy for advanced dental education in St.Petersburg, FL. This advanced training allows for diagnosing and treating complex cosmetic cases, TMJ disorders, bite related disorders, and orofacial pain.

In 2015, he was awarded fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry(FAGD). This award is given to a small percentage of dentists who have taken an extensive amount of continuing education. Daniel consistently completes over 100 hours of continuing education per year both domestically and internationally.

Outside of dentistry, some of Daniel's hobbies include traveling the world, spending time outdoors, playing tennis, and supporting local animal shelters.Recently, he has taken up home and property renovation, which is very fitting since he loves to use his hands.

Dr.Rome is happy to be back home in the Midwest after practicing dentistry in New York, California, and Virginia. He looks forward to providing thorough comprehensive dental care to Kansas City and surrounding areas.

A native Missourian, Dr. McClellan grew up in Jefferson City. A standout soccer player, Dr. McClellan went on to play Division one soccer at Drury University with his twinbrother majoring in Biology with a minor in Global studies.

Dr. McClellan wanted to be a dentist from the age of 12 and worked for an Orthodontist growing up. He is a proud graduate of University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School class of 2010. He served as President of Psi Omega professional fraternity and participated in the Honors Oral Surgery Program. Dr. McClellan received a full scholarship for Dental school from the US Army.

Upon Graduation, Dr. McClellan attended a one year advanced education in General Dentistry Program. Through this program, Dr. McClellan received advanced training in oral surgery, root canals, implants, cosmetic dentistry and treatment of medically compromised patients. While fighting cavities for America, Dr. McClellan gained valuable experience treating patients with oral facial pain and patients in need of complex cosmetic restorative care.

Dr. McClellan is a scholar of the world famous Dawson Academy out of St. Petersburg, FL. Less than 5% of dentist in the world receive the training provided at the Dawson Academy, which allows him to treat complex bite problems. He has been selected as an Ambassador at the academy and dedicates time yearly to helping coach dentist to be complete care dentist.

Dr. McClellan returns to the Midwest to join our team after practicing in Honolulu, Hawaii. Nominated by his peers, Dr. McClellan was named a top dentist in Hawaii two years in a row. He brings to the office a wealth of experience restoring complex bite problems and designing cosmetic smiles to last a lifetime.

Dr. Hanneman has been setting the highest standards of excellence in dentistry for over 30 years.He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciencesfrom Southeast Missouri StateUniversity and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. An esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Hanneman is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, earning over 1000 hours of continuing education in manydental specialties, and an active member in many leading dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Society and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Hanneman also serves on the board of the Missouri Mission of Mercy, an annual event to provide dental care at no cost to needy individuals.

Together with his daughter, Marissa Hanneman RDH, Dr. Hanneman volunteers with Global Dental Relief and has traveledto Cambodia to provide dental care to rural children. Dr. Hanneman is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf as well as following the Royals, the Chiefs, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Dr. Hanneman and Dr. Ward are married, and they enjoyspending time with their fourchildren and two granddaughters.

Dr. Ward has been providing excellent dental care to our patients since 1987.She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry before completing a hospital-based General Practice Residency with the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas, in association with the Kansas University Medical Center. While covering all aspects of dental care, her residency focused on removable prosthodontics (dentures) and oral medicine (how dental health affects overall health).

Dr. Ward was an Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry for several years before devoting her time exclusively to her patients in private practice. A valued member of the dental community, Dr. Ward is an active member in many top dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Society and the American College of Dentists.

Dr. Ward was an art prodigy as a child and began painting in oils at age seven. Gradually her interests turned to medicine as she worked at her local hospital in the operating room and emergency department, from high school through college. Her experiences there gave her a life-longappreciation for patient care. After doing graduate work in genetics and microbiology, Dr. Ward worked for the State Health Department in Jefferson City before attending dental school. She was the only student in her class awarded The PierreFauchardAcademy Undergraduate Certificate of Merit at graduation. During her residency, she served as the national editor for The American Student Dental Association, andafterwardbegan a seventeen-year stint as the Editor-In-Chief of the Missouri Dental Association. Dr. Ward was also active at the national level, serving as the President of the American Association of Dental Editors and as theChairperson of the American Dental Association's Council on Communications.

Together with her husband, Dr. Hanneman, Dr. Ward donates needed dental services through the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program of the Dental Lifeline Network. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with Dr. Hanneman, their four children, two granddaughters, and their three mini Australian shepherds: Macintosh,Bindi, and Yoda.
