As a dentist, I focus on providing positive dental experiences for my patients. A lot of people have had negative dental experiences and may even have dental-related fears. I work with each patient to help them overcome their anxiety and learn that todays dentistry is comfortable and truly pain-free.
I want my patients to be comfortable with their treatment, not only physically but emotionally. I want them to be active participants in deciding which care options are right for their life. By giving them knowledge and control, I relieve some of their concerns.
Dr. Grafs Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) was awarded by the University of Illinois at Chicago. That education gave him an excellent understanding of dentistry. However, this is a constantly evolving profession. New methodologies, materials, and technology all improve the care and treatment results for patients. By pursuing continuing education, Dr. Graf ensures hes providing the best care possible.
Dr. Graf has completed courses in mini dental implants, Endodontics (root canals), and periodontics, which is the treatment of gum disease. He has also studied many restorative dental topics, including fillings, bondings, veneers, crowns and bridges, and dentures.
Born and raised in Orland Park, IL, which is in the Chicago area, Dr. Graf has lived in the area since 2002. His wife Michelle, whos his partner in the dental practice, and he met in dental school. The couple has three young sons: Neil, Ryan, and Eric. They also have a dog named Kermit; thats Kermit the Dog not Kermit the Frog. Hes a retriever mix.
When Dr. Graf is not at work his priority is time with his family. He coaches his boys baseball teams. Dr. Graf like sports and plays tennis and golf. He also collects and plays pinball machines. He plays in pinball tournaments and is currently the Wisconsin State Champion.
I am passionate about helping my patients learn to enjoy coming to our office. I believe each person should feel better leaving than they did coming in. Whether Ive removed dental pain, decreased their anxiety, or helped them love their smile more, I want them to be happy. Patients should leave with a smile and not worry about their next visit.
I enjoy seeing families, from kids through grandparents. Were a family here and I like caring for families. Its fun to get to know the children in our practice. Everyone works hard to ensure they have only positive experiences, so they learn this is a fun place to visit. I equally like working with our older patients, hearing their stories and sharing in their lives.
I love helping people feel better about their oral health. Whether its a thorough dental cleaning, getting them out of pain, or improving their smile, I want them to feel good about themselves and the care we provide. Dr. Michelle Graf
Dr. Graf knows that continuing dental education is vital to delivering the best treatment. Changes are always happening in dental materials, applications, and procedures. These changes improve the quality of care and make the treatment experience more comfortable for patients. Each year Dr. Graf completes many hours of continuing education, learning from leaders in the profession.
Dr. Graf grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, IL. She and her husband, Tom, her dental partner, met in dental school. They moved to the area in 2002 and have three active sons. When Dr. Graf isnt working or juggling her boys schedules, she can be found exercising, running with the family dog, playing tennis, or gardening and doing yard work.
Giving back to the community is important to Dr. Graf. She helps with childcare for the local MOPS program. She also volunteers at the Tri County Dental Clinic to provide dental care to people who are unable to afford regular visits. Additionally, Dr. Graf is a den leader for Cub Scouts.
Everyone on the Graf Family Dentistry team is experienced, attentive, and passionate about delivering the best care. Were also personable and friendly. We enjoy getting to know patients personally, building lasting relationships while helping people develop the healthy smile they deserve.

We recently moved to the area and we needed a new dentist. This one was so close and they had great reviews. They have helped me and my wife with ongoing dental issues and we couldn't be more happy with our choice. Now we have the best teeth and oral hygiene we've had in years.

OK. Just had my first appointment with Graf Family Dental and had to turn around and leave because I refused to sign a paper that made me liable for a $50 charge if I canceled an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. Just thought you should know BEFORE you go. I immediately made an appointment with a dentist that has no penalty. I am not in their system because I left.

After spending the last two decades with a big-box dental clinic I decided to give the Graf office a try. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and level of care that went into my dental exam and cleaning. I hope that I can call the Graf's and their team my dentist for years to come.

Today was my first visit. I can get a little anxious when I go to the dentist, but Holly and Dr (Mrs) Graf were so nice and I felt at ease almost immediately. They were not judgmental about how you do or don't take care of your teeth (i.e., flossing). Also, they were right on time, and the office was spotless! Probably the best experience I've had at a dentist's office!

The staff is friendly and nice. Dr's Tom and Michelle are personable and helpful. Whenever I've had a procedure done they explain what they're doing and why. I highly recommend them.
