At Gracious Smiles, we live and practice by this creed: we will be gracious to each other and all who walk through our doors. This is based on the precept that the Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion (Psalm 116:5). We want the character of Christ to shine through in all that we do, therefore we want to make a positive impact on our community both locally and globally. Dr. April Davis was born and raised in Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, double majoring in Accounting and Finance and graduating in 2002. She then went on to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she graduated with her DMD in 2012. Continuing her professional education in the field, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center in 2013.
Dr. Davis has been active in the dental field for over six years and is excited to embark on the adventure of owning her own practice. She feels incredibly blessed to be able to serve patients, and she loves connecting with them while bringing the art and science of dentistry together to help them achieve their oral health goals. Dr. Davis is an exceptional clinical dentist with a servants heart who is here to serve the needs of our local communityas well as the global communityto help make the world a better place.
When shes not in the office helping patients, Dr. Davis loves being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves to learn and is always taking continuing education courses to expand her clinical and professional growth. Learning from other people has always been a passion of hers and she often finds herself learning some of the most interesting things from patients and their unique life experiences.

I love Gracious Smiles! Dr Davis went WAY out of her way to fit me in during a cosmetic emergency. I had a public speaking engagement scheduled and broke one of my teeth the day before. Thank You Dr Davis!

I have been a patient of Dr April's for a while now but brought my son in for the first time today. All of the staff made him feel comfortable and answered all of his questions. When he was finished they surprised him with something from the prize box. He was unsure of what to expect but it was a pleasant experience. Everyone is always so nice and congenial.

The only reason I am giving a rating of 1 is that I can't give a zero. My wife, Cathy, of 45 years is very sweet and regardless of how bad her experience was, would never say a cross word about anyone. Me, I'm different. My wife joined the group plan which was $400.00. After her cleaning, the owner, Ms. April Davis, told her that she had cavities and the dental cost would be nearly $1,100. My wife decided to get a second opinion. After the new dentist performed a check-up, complete with x-rays, no cavities were found. My wife called Ms. Davis and offered to provide the new x-rays so that she could get her $400.00 back, minus the cleaning cost. Ms. Davis told her that it was non-refundable. She added that even if it was refundable, the x-rays and cleaning would have amounted to $399.00. (I'm just happy that Ms. Davis doesn't own our local auto repair shop.) Parker Hanson P.S. Don't try to answer my review by saying that you don't have any record of my wife's name like you did with your last "1 Star" review.

I can't even begin to give this business enough stars. They were so kind and welcoming, efficient yet very thorough. I moved here without knowing anyone and the office reminded me so much of "home" -- I was greeted with smiles and so much happiness during my entire visit.

If you want to go to a caring, compassionate dentist that doesn't make you feel like you're just a number...Dr Davis is the one. Highly recommend... the entire staff is kind. Very knowledgeable, extremely clean office, an all around amazing, comfortable, experience.

Dr. Davis and her staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The office is very clean and comfortable. They are even great with my kids! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist for themselves or their whole family!

I cannot say enough good things about this office!!! I'm terrified of the dentist and stopped going for many years due to anxiety. I was super nervous coming here but after a cleaning and two cavity fillings, I can 100% say this was the best, pain-free experience I have ever had. The exam that goes along with the cleaning is super comprehensive and prices are very reasonable. The cavity filling was 100% pain-free, and super quick! I'll definitely be coming here regularly from now on.

They are not knowledgeable about dental, they were going to fill my daughter teeth and she doesn't have cavities and yes a professional checked and I have paperwork just scamming insurance companies for money and using children for pawns.

Dr Davis is a wonderful dentist and person! We had a great experience at our appointments, and my kids enjoyed getting their cleaning. She was patient and kind and explained everything to us. I highly recommend her to anyone or any family looking for a dentist. She also offers a few in house plans to save money if you are self pay. I highly recommend Gracious Smiles!

I had a hard time finding a dental practice for kids (that wasn't a chain). I took my toddler to Dr. Davis at Gracious Smiles in Waterville for his first dental experience and she did AMAZING with him! She did the cleaning and exam herself, was patient and had a toy for him to keep. Not to mention the office is brand new, very clean and spotless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Recently had my first appointment. Dr. Davis and the two staff members that I dealt with there were all very professionnel. I went into the first appointment very Nervous and after meeting Dr Davis she made me feel very comfortable with her level of professional and caring attitude. best dentist I have ever been to! you can tell they really care about making a trip to the dentist feel like a luxury experience. it's very welcoming, clean, and up-to-date. they really took time on making sure my little corn kernels (teeth) were taken care of to the highest extant! had a little extra scraping done in the pit of my snaggletooth and it was the kind of love and care she needed! I highly recommend gracious smiles! I no longer will dread a trip to the dentist!
