Dr. Hsu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. Following dental school, she completed a general practice residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Northport, NY., where she later lectured as a guest speaker. She is a member of the ADA, Nassau County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and DSSNY. She serves as a sub-committee member in the Greater New York Dental Meeting, one of the biggest dental shows in the U.S., as well as the New Dentist Committee of NCDS. In addition, Dr. Hsu volunteers her dental work at numerous charity events, and participates in New York Donated Dental Services.
Through frequent seminars and continuing education, The Institute of Advanced Dental Technologies has certified Dr. Hsu on category 2 level Dental Laser System. She is one of the first few Invisalign-certified dentists in the New York area since December 2001.
During her career, Dr. Hsu has constantly endeavored to stay abreast of the latest developments in dental technology and advances in the dental sciences. She has accumulated extensive continuing education credits qualifying her for fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Hsu is married and now resides in Huntington, NY with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and just relaxing. She is also a member of her local Chinese church.

Regarding insurance plans where we are participating providers, a co-payment may still be necessary today and each visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Grace Hsu at Long Island dental spa in oyster Bay. Her team is very professional, courteous, and her friendly staff make me feel like family. My 2 kids won't go anywhere else. She and her team continually make it a smoother experience for all.

Dr. Hsu has been my dentist for about 20 years. She is very kind and caring, explains everything extremely thoroughly, and is as gentle as a dentist can possibly be. She makes dental visits a pleasure. Yes, that is actually possible. I have recommended her to numerous other patients. I have moved out of the area, and have far less robust dental insurance than I used to, but I recently received an unfavorable dental diagnosis from another dentist who does accept my insurance. I decided to return to Dr. Hsu to get a second opinion, because she is an absolute master. Her level of knowledge and expertise so greatly exceed that of other dentists whom I have seen more recently that I was willing to travel for two hours and pay out of pocket just to get her expert advice. When I was living in New York City I visited a dentist on Lexington Avenue who had celebrity clients. He was very arrogant, and I did not trust his diagnosis. So I went back to Dr. Hsu, who showed me an x-ray and explained it very clearly, and it was obvious that the other dentist's diagnosis was incorrect. When expert diagnostics and treatment really matter, I will travel hours and pay out of pocket to see Dr. Hsu. She really is THAT good. And when I walk through the door, I feel like I am with someone who really cares. Dentists just don't get better than this.

This so called dentist is a butcher!! She over drilled out my molar after convincing me that my filling was bad. As a result of her inept procedure my tooth cracked having no pain or problems before going to this hack. I have been suffering for about 10 years with infections, 3 abscesses, needing to extract the tooth that she ruined. This nightmare has cost me thousands of dollars and many years of agony. The worst part is when I requested my dental records she redacted them and falsified them to cover up for what this person did to me!!! Do not trust Grace Hsu is should be denied her dental license and sued for damages.

Just move to the area. Everyone is just great with smiles right when you walk in till finish, been to couple of dentists, you don't get this else where. The appointment is also right on the clock with minimal wait time. It's been great experience.

The office charged me $550 for a adult and a kid just regular exam and washing. We are new patients and don't have insurance, so I have to made the full payment before we left. They told me that is a very reasonable price but I don't think so. This is the first time I've been there and it is also the last one.

Very bad service. They charge way overpriced and don't even tell us that our insurance don't cover the service. Do not go! You will be scammed!!! Response to the reply: This doesn't seem very professional of you guys to presume the name of my profile is my give name. Second, we clearly asked the woman up front will the insurance cover the operations for me and my son. She said she had "called the insurance" but that's not what happened. If she did call the insurance she would have founded out that our insurance don't even know that the dental place exists so they don't insure the checkups. Third, $250 for a checkup? If this is not overcharging us what is it?

During this pandemic time I'm reminded of the importance of keeping my teeth in great shape and am thankful for Long Island Dental Spa making sure I feel safe whenever I visit. After switching dentists to Dr. Hsu and Long Island Dental Spa over 10 years ago, my oral health increased tremendously and I've never had a new cavity that wasn't the result of past neglect. Dr Hsu and her staff are friendly and will always take the time to answer any questions you have. I switched my 4 and 7 year olds here, as unlike the factory hospital feel of their past pediatric dentist, they always feel comfortable coming here and happy afterwards. Even though my dental insurance plan keeps getting worst every year, I've come to learn that like excercise and healthy food keeping your teeth healthy is one area you want to invest in.

Luckily, Dr. Hsu made herself available to me immediately to check a sudden painful tooth. Not only did she diagnose the cause, but also performed a treatment that was the least invasive and lowest cost. Most importantly, Dr. Hsu has consistently informed me of all options of treatment before beginning a procedure so that its cost or length of time are agreed upon. Never once have I felt discomfort having root canals, crowns or bridges completed because of her unique skill to work delicately, precisely and quickly. Concerning the present Covid protocols, Dr. Hsu observes the strictest safety guidelines to the highest extent possible.

I highly recommend Dr. Grace Hsu at Long Island Dental Spa! She is the most painless and talented dentist I have ever experienced! The office is very clean and relaxing , the supporting personnel are so nice and helpful. They work with your insurance to avoid unnecessary out of pocket costs. I have been a patient of Dr. Hsu for many years. She exhibits an incredibly high level of concern for her patients along with their well being and comfort during treatment. Her methodology of treatment is a combination of sound dental practices, melded with discerning "new-age" practices which have consistently relieved my anxieties over a childhood filled only with pain related dental procedures. I can offer only the highest praise for an almost pain-free experience.

I have to say that I had never enjoyed going to the dentist with the exception that everyone at Long Island dental spa is AMAZING! Dr. Hsu has the best bedside manner and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I don't even know where to begin with my compliments!!! She made me feel like I'm a friend--and she makes sure that I leave with ease and a shining smile!! Everyone in the office are so pleasant-they really make a dreaded thing such an easy, more importantly, a painless experience. I've been a patient with them even for just one time but I am sure that I do not want any other dentist!!! Thank you, Dr. Hsu! You are simply priceless!

Dr. Hsu and her whole staff are wonderful and very kind. She takes time to explain everything she is doing, I don't feel like she is simply rushing to get through my appointment to the next patient. She remembers small irrelevant details we talk about and you can tell she truly cares about dentistry and caring for her patients and it translates to the staff she hires as well. Everyone I've encountered has been lovely which has not always been my experience with dentist offices.
