Dr. Jarwa has lived in Northern Virginia since 1997. He received his DDS degree from the University of Southern California Dental School (USC) in 2003. Following his belief that One should treat others as one would like to be treated, and after practicing dentistry in California and Virginia for ten years and completing hours of courses in postgraduate dentistry, he opened Grace Dental of Virginia in 2013, a State of The Art private office committed to providing honest dentistry and true care for all patients.
Dr. Jarwas passion for dentistry and people led him to provide services for patients with intellectual disabilities (an underserved population) and he became an advocate and an educator in the discipline of treating special need patients. He is also part of Medical Group where he provides his expertise in sleep oral appliance therapy.
As a true Trojan, Dr. Jarwa is dedicated to the newest advancements in cosmetic dentistry, keeps up to date with the latest technologies, and is committed to your comfort through sedation. He has maintained his membership with multiple dental societies and associations. When Dr. Jarwa is not practicing dentistry he spends most of his time with his lovely wife, Suzy, and his children, Claire and Christian.
Suzy brings with her over 10 years of management experience. She has an AAS in Legal Assisting and a BBA in Business with a major in Legal. She saw her husbands vision and mission for Grace Dental of Virginia and decided to put her aspirations of Law School on hold for a few years to help get the office started. She is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Her two kids, Claire Bear and Christian, are her pride and joy. She enjoys hot weather and the beach and hopes to retire to Hawaii one day.
Junior graduated from Chantilly High School dental careers program in 2012 and joined Grace Dental of Virginia in 2013. Junior brings with him dental knowledge that has allowed him to grow with Grace Dental and really be versed in all aspects of dentistry, from front desk, treatment coordinating to dental assisting. He has a way with people and the patients can feel his sincere approach. Dentistry is his passion and he aspires to become a dentist one day.
Christie has over 5 years of experience in dentistry. She is continuing her education and aspires to become an oral surgeon within an exquisite office like Grace Dental. She enjoys a balanced life with various activities and loves spending time with family and friends.
We are seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator, prior experience in Marketing and Billing is a plus. Must have at least 1-3 years of dental experience. Eaglesoft knowledge preferred. Please send resume to gracedentalva@gmail.com.

Been coming to Dr. Jarwa and his colleagues for the past year and everytime my family or I have come we have recieved exceptional care and guidance for each of our own dental care needs. I am grateful for the entire team's efforts from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists. If you want exceptional, caring, and affordable dental work done this is the place to go.

Is there a way to give 50 stars?!!! I found Dr. Jarwa because I was referred to him to make an oral appliance for my sleep apnea. After his examination he suggested the dental work that I would need before I started using my appliance. The most important thing he noticed was that one of my dental implants was very loose. I went to my regular dentist who did a crown and a couple of fillings. She tried but she could not tighten the implant. I went back to Dr. J and he had just the right tools to tighten the implant.. Soon after, one of the fillings fell out. My dentist replaced it but I was having pain and sensitivity that I had not had before the fillings...She prescribed a toothpaste for sensitivity and basically told me to wait it out...after weeks of pain I decided to go and see what Dr. J had to say...unfortunately he said I needed a root canal...he immediately started the procedure and the first thing I noticed was that I didn't even feel the numbing needle!!!! The entire procedure was completely painless...I have to go back in a couple weeks to do the build up and the crown and I don't even know that the problem is solved...I'm still numb...what I do know is that Dr. J knows exactly what he is doing and I will never go to anyone else.

So. after being "sold" on this procedure by Comprehensive Sleep care due to Sleep apnea where the machine I was forced to buy from Kaiser when I was a member and no improvement the machine was found faulty by Comprehensive Sleep care and useless. I offered to take it to any Kaiser to be tested or fixed and was adamantly refused. Written letters to the CEO and member services were ignored for years after I left Kaiser. "DON'T TRUST YOUR LIFE TO KAISER" The reason for the one star for the dental procedure is Comprehensive sent me there to have molds made of my teeth that were supposed to move my lower jaw outward a little at time to escalate my sleep breathing. All it did was break two of my molars in half which required dental posts and caps. The molds were $7000 + and my copays. Money well wasted.

BEWARE!!! Money Rip off! I have a lot of respect for doctors and what they do for the world but I have zero respect for dishonesty. I wanted to get my teeth whitened and was adviced by Grace dental to get a cleanup before that which would be 100% free of cost (covered by insurance). Keep in mind I have no gum infection/cavities/ teeth issues, just plaque and build up. I go to my cleanup appointment and I confirm again that it's a free cleanup. Doctor's assistant comes in to do my teeth X-ray, tells me while I'm asking questions "there would be no numbing involved as you DON't need a deep clean up." When doctor comes in I tell him clearly that I DO NOT want a deep cleanup and we all agree. HALF WAY through the procedure, Doctor tells his assistant so what we're doing right now is ALMOST like a deep cleanup so I'm gonna charge your insurance for deep cleanup. WTF! without asking me or checking with me if my insurance even covers that, without even my consent or any prior notice/discussion, without my say. Next thing I know that I'm charged $190 for an ALMOST-"deep cleanup" which I never wanted/needed in the first place. I just wanted a regular cleanup so my whitening process could go smoothly. Based on my experience I suggest you find honest dental practices please and AVOID this at all costs. This was my first time here and definitely my last.

Completely reasonable passionate dentist. Very knowledgeable, attentive. I am skeptical of the dentist and he did pretty much full reconstruction and it looks absolutely amazing! I can smile again !!! Thank you dr. Jarwa! I would recommend him to anyone, adults and children!

I have not been here for years. When I went in for service I had a routine cleaning and had insurance. Out of the blue, I got a $300 invoice. Not sure if they trying to scam me or what.
