Dr. Laurie Stodola, DDSdid her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Minneapolis and graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Assocation, the St. Paul District Dental Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Stodola is also active in three interdisciplinary dental clubs in a continual effort to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry and to maintain a high level of excellence through advanced courses and education.
Dr. Laurie Stodola enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, boating and, most importantly, spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Dr. Stodola and her husband of 35 years, Jim, reside in Hugo, MN.
Dr. Stodola is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society founded for the purpose of advancing the ethical standards of the dental profession. Members elected from the top 20% of their graduating class show potential for professional growth and serve as examples among their peers. Dr. Stodola is dedicated to continued education. She has been a long term member of both the True North and Spear dental study clubs. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association.
Melissa - RDA Dental Assistant Has been a Dental Assistant since 2004. Melissa loves spending time with her husband Cory and their 3 children. In the Summer months you will find the whole family on the water enjoying boating and water skiing.
Ashley - RDH Registered Dental Hygienist Ashley has been working in the dental field for 14 years providing both therapeutic and preventative services to her patients. Oral and total body health is very important to her and she takes great pride in being a healthcare professional. In her free time Ashley enjoys working as a hairstylist and spending family time with her 3 daughters and husband.
Sara - RDH Registered Dental Hygienist Sara has been a hygienist since 2016 and was a dental assistant prior to that where she worked at the U of M. She loves to learn and implement the newest technologies. She enjoys educating her patients and help them have the best oral hygiene. When not working, Sara and her husband love to go on hikes with their dogs.

I've been a patient at this dental office for many years. At our last appointment the dentist confronted me about a health issue unrelated to dental work. She's now lost 2 patients due to her unprofessional behavior.

Unfortunately you guys just lost 2 patients. We have been patients there for years. But after our most recent appointments we will not be returning. This dentist is a shell of it's former self. The dentist and hygienists have become condescending to the point of being mean to the patient.

I decided to switch to Grace Dental after a friend referred me. My previous dentist was dishonest and untrustworthy. My first trip to Grace Dental restored my faith in dentists and customer service! The entire staff (receptionist, hygienist, and Dr. Stodola) were friendly and knowledgeable. I will be going back and would recommend them to any of my friends.
