Our staff consists of highly experienced, certified, and dedicated orthodontic assistants and administrators. Some of them have been with us for over 20 years!
At Graber & Gyllenhaal Orthodontics, we pride ourselves on having the latest technology in orthodontics. 3-Dimensional iCAT x-rays, iTero Digital Scanners, and SureSmile customized wires are just a few examples of how we provide more accurate, faster, and comfortable treatment for all our patients. Dr. Graber and Dr. Gyllenhaal are also American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certified- a certification achieved and maintained by only 30% of all orthodontists and the only orthodontist speciality certifying board recognized by the American Dental Association.
Since 1946, our team of doctors have been leaders in the orthodontic community, each contributing to further advancement of the specialty. Dr. Kate Graber lectures frequently for both Invisalign and SureSmile. Dr. Kelley Gyllenhaal serves as President for the North Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Lee Graber is a co-author and editor for Orthodontics: Current Principles and Techniques, a widely used graduate orthodontic textbook that has been translated into multiple languages.
We are proud members of our community and you will see us around town, and contributing to local charities, schools, clubs, and sponsoring events in our neighborhoods. Each year Graber & Gyllenhaal Orthodontics participates in a variety of philanthropic activities, including the Illinois Society of Orthodontics Donated Orthodontic Services Program, providing dental and orthodontic services at no cost.

As an older adult, having orthodontic treatment for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised with Graber /Gyllenhaal orthodontics. The thing that stands out about this operation is that it isn't just about the orthodontist herself. It is about the entire staff, and how they work together as a team each with their own expertise displaying maximum professionalism while servicing each clients individual needs . They get my highest recommendation. If you're thinking about orthodontic treatment do a consult with Dr Katie and you will never regret making it happen. I get more compliments on my smile than I could've ever imagined.

If I could do a 6/5 stars, I would do that. This place was amazing. From the initial interaction to the time I left, the staff were very welcoming. An extra shoutout to Dr. Zallik for alleviating my anxiety with being calm and giving me helpful advice!

Everyone especially Dr Katie is outstanding! Always quick to answer any question, knowledgeable, and truly helpful if there was a broken bracket and needed to get squeezed in. Just an amazing experience since the beginning!

It was my dentist who recommended I come here, and I'm so glad she did! I really enjoyed my experience working with GGO and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for orthodontia. The doctors and staff are very sweet, not only to me as an adult patient, but also to the kids and teens. They listened when I had concerns/suggestions which made for a very collaborative experience. To top it off I never waited more than 5 minutes to be called back for my appointment. This is definitely where I will bring my kids when they are ready to start orthodontia!

Wow!! I am so pleased with how my daughters teeth turned out after getting her braces off. Dr Katie and Dr Kelly are fantastic as is the front desk staff and all of the wonderful and caring nurses/assistants. The whole process from our initial consultation to braces off day was right on schedule, exactly as discussed and we could be happier with the results! Thank you for giving my daughter a beautiful smile!!

Our entire experience with Dr. Graber was phenomenal. I completely trusted her advice and felt she treated us as she would her own children. And my son was out of his braces two months ahead ! of schedule. Graber & Gyllenhaal made scheduling, remembering & attending appointments a breeze. Never too much communication, but just enough. They get what it feels like to be a kid having to wear braces. They treated us as care partners throughout & the congratulations/treatment complete gift was an absolute hit! Thank you for making wearing braces quite a livable experience....we will be back with our daughter when the time comes!
