Growing up, coming from a family of medical professionals, Dr. Goyal saw firsthand how gratifying and satisfying it is to be able to help people and provide them with the best possible care. Even if it is in a small way, it can give someone a reason to smile.
What drew him to dentistry is that he saw it was the perfect blend of art and science, plus it would give him an opportunity to utilize his hands while forming long term relationships with his patients. He also enjoys that its a constantly evolving field. He is always learning new things that improve the way he practices and help him provide the best possible care with the latest innovations.
After studying at the University of Alabama, Dr. Goyal completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University in 2010. He is currently a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which is a hard-earned achievement that only 6% of general dentists ever reach! He is also certified in laser dentistry and currently attending advanced training in dental implants to further elevate his clinical skillset.
Dr. Goyal and his wife Prarthana recently welcomed their first child in February of 2021. When he isnt busy at work, you can often find him spending quality time with his young son, Veer, traveling, doing charity work, swimming, surfing, and paddle boarding. He has served as the Hampton Roads Community Director in a private practice since 2015. Hes always up for an adventure in past years, hes run several marathons (including the Boston Marathon and the Bataan Death March) and has even climbed Kilimanjaro!
Elizabeth has been a part of the dental world for nearly 15 years so far, and she is really enjoying partnering with Dr. Goyal as they grow his dental office. Plus, the amazing patients make every day a fun experience!
At home, Elizabeth has two dogs named Juliet and Gracie and two cats named Bravo and Echo. She is also very close with her six siblings in fact, shes the oldest of the bunch! Her favorite hobbies include knitting, crocheting, reading, and cooking.
Originally from Norfolk, Tamar is currently studying at Old Dominion University. As a part of our front desk, she loves being able to greet and assist patients while also gaining valuable experience in the dental field!
Away from work, Tamar spends plenty of quality time with her family, binge watches criminal/medical shows, appreciates being outside in nature, and regularly visits museums. Shes also pretty passionate about organizing/rearranging things.
Caroline has been working in the dental world for well over five years now, and she loves helping patients achieve confident smiles! A born and raised Virginia Beach local, she studied dental assisting at the Virginia Beach Technical and Career Education Center.

I live on the west coast, was visiting Virginia for a work assignment and had a dental emergency, so I contacted Dr Goyal. I was able to get a same day appointment. Area around one the implant was inflamed. He took his time to explain everything in detail. His treatment and post op instructions has helped me keep the area clean , inflammation free and pain free since then. He is an expert in his job and great bedside manners. I trust him with my dental care.

I have been treated by many different dentist, but at Goyals Dentistry I have never been more satisfied with my treatment! The doctor is a true professional, he goes the extra mile to ensure the patient is totally satisfied and happy with his work! I never do reviews, but I feel so strongly about the great treatment I receive, I wanted to let others know my feelings. I get nothing from giving my positive comments and opinions on Goyals Dentistry, so if you want a dentist who won't settle on shabby work, just give Goyal a simple try and then you will say that guy was correct with his opinion! Goyal Dentistry is absolutely amazing!! The staff is TOP NOTCH, very caring and kind! Dr. Goyal is wonderful!! You can not ask for a better Dentist with a beautiful bedside manor and so much compassion! I called as a new patient with a dental emergency for my son! They got me in immediately with no wait and performed an extraction on a wisdom tooth for my son at that moment. Dr. Goyal was very thorough explaining to me what was going on and what needed to be done. Answered all of my questions and did not make me or my son feel like a number, but rather made us feel that our emergency was his emergency! I highly recommend Dr. Goyal. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a dentist!

I have never had a better dentistry experience than with Goyal! I have had teeth emergency extracted and had my teeth cleaned and they were both surprisingly pleasant experiences. I hope I never have to go to another dentist's office ever again. I cannot recommend this office enough.

Going to the Dentist is not on my list of fun things to do however, what a professional atmosphere. Greeting was nice, automated check in, and then the interactive approach put me at ease. I still don't like going to the Dentist but Dr. Goyal makes the experience less frightening and more when complete happy you went. Thank you sir and thank your staff.

I cannot say enough good things a a out this practice. I came here originally for an emergency tooth situation, in pain for for over a month searching for a dentist to help with my situation and soonest appointment was month or two out. I couldn't wait that long I was in so much pain. Mr. Goyle & his staff were very considerate and helpful and quickly got me in and taken care of. Next day it was like a light switch I was back to normal feeling nearly 100% better. I recommend everyone now to their practice. Thank you all for your kindness and taking care of our teeth!

Top notch dentist and staff! Had been a patient of Dr Michael Sims for many many years and I have to say he picked an outstanding replacement! Dr. Goyal really takes his time and listens to you. I came to Dr. Goyal as an emergency patient while on vacation in Virginia Beach. His front office staff was amazing and got me in same day. I needed to get a wisdom tooth pulled and was extremely nervous. Dr. Goyal was so patient and kind and I had no pain with the extraction at all! I'm so grateful for his service.

They saw my son for an emergency visit after he broke his tooth while we were in Virginia traveling. Not only did they take great care of him, they helped us deal with submitting the out of network claim with our insurance too. I would definitely recommend them!

My whole family loves this dentist and his staff! Dr Goyal is fast, friendly, attentive, and on time! He takes the time he needs with each patient yet also doesn't make the visit long and lengthy! Even my teenagers love him.
