They made mistakes but they wanted me to pay for it. I was covered by United healthcare on February 18th when I received teeth cleaning service in this office. But in March they said the insurance denied payment, so I gave them my United healthcare insurance which covers me until March 31. Then I was told by the guy in the office that he had submitted the Feb 18th bill to United Healthcare but in fact he never submitted it. Now it is July, they still asked me to pay for the February 18th bill which I already gave them my United healthcare insurance in March. So you can see they are not doing their job correctly. They should ask United healthcare to pay for the bill, not ask me to pay for it. So, be careful with this office if you want to clean your teeth in governor dental.

Tried to reschedule my appointment over 24 hour notice. Was told I would be charged $65 for reschedule. I said I cannot make. Got a bill in the mail for $130!! Obviously will not be coming back . EVER

The staff is so friendly and thorough. AJ was the best!! I am legitimately looking forward to coming in six months. Dr. Copps made me feel at ease and explained everything she was reviewing pertaining to my dental health as she reviewed it. They were upfront with costs and coverage as well. Highly recommend!

I have excellent insurance and received a quote for cavity treatment of $75. The procedures performed were completely different procedure codes than the ones I was quoted, resulting in a $295 out of pocket charge. The office was unwilling to budge and claimed they don't know what the insurance rates are, even though they submitted incorrect procedure codes. I am a physician with intimate knowledge of the insurance system and would recommend avoiding this practice if you can.

Very nice doctor, very impolite front desk. A little disappointed after stopped by cause we didn't get proper respect that we deserve.

Dr Copps is great: not only is the end result always perfect, she also makes sure I feel as comfortable as possible in the process. And Andres at the front desk is really friendly! I've been coming to Governor Dental for 1.5 years now, and can definitely recommend this place.

Although it seemed like this dentist did good work, I and a friend who also saw them thought they pushed extra and unnecessary procedures, for example removing unruptured wisdom teeth which weren't causing any problems. In another case they said deep cleaning needed to be done, but another dentist I went to for a second opinion said it wasn't necessary.

Dr Copps is great: not only is the end result always perfect, she also makes sure I feel as comfortable as possible in the process. And Andres at the front desk is really friendly! I've been coming to Governor Dental for 1.5 years now, and can definitely recommend this place.

In another case they said deep cleaning needed to be done, but another dentist I went to for a second opinion said it wasn't necessary.

Trustworthy dentist. Did a X-ray check and cleaning. Dr Copps made her suggestion quite frankly without exaggeration. For example, I have some minor issue in the gum, but she suggested me try regular flossing for several months first before doing a deep cleaning. And she did the long overdue cleaning for me herself, which was quite some labor. I have access to the best dentists in China through my parents working in a top hospital, and I cannot tell the difference between Dr Copps and those experts, well, in cleaning. Her staffs, Marisella and Anna, are also very kind. To those speaking Mandarin but having trouble communicating with dentists in English, Kao Pu Hua Ren Ya Yi ,Ke Yi Shuo Zhong Wen ,Bu Luan Jia Xiang Mu Luan Shou Fei ,Jie Shou UCSDDe Bao Xian .

They reserve my treatment after my insurance is expired. And also reserve treatment without looking at how many cleaning i can have on my insurance. So i have to pay for myself without coverage. I know they can check their system to get my file and check the insurance policy but they didn't.
