Dr. Pidhajecky attended Emory University for his undergraduate studies, where he received his Bachelors degree in Biological Anthropology. He went on to attend the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). Following graduation from dental school, he was selected and completed a year long General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Through his commitment to continuing education, Dr. Pidhajecky keeps current on the latest developments in the dental field. He takes great pride in providing preventative, restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry to his patients.
Dr. Pidhajecky and his wife Brooke, his high school sweetheart, havefour children, Oscar, Sophie, Hugo, and June. When heis not working on improving the local smiles of the community, he can often be found in the kitchen cooking up a storm for his family or biking with his kids in tow.
A graduate of Westbrook College, Heather has been a dedicated dental hygienist at ouroffice for twenty years. She resides in Buxton with her husband Arlo and their two children. Heather is often on the run, happily keeping up with her children's busy athletic schedules. She also relishes quiet family time both at home and camp.
Valerie has been a dental hygienist at our office since she graduated from the University College of Bangor in 2009. A native of Augusta, Valerie is currently living in Scarborough. In her free time, she enjoys boating with family and friends and discovering the many restaurants Portland has to offer. Becoming a dental hygienist was the best decision she has made. Valerie loves her job, coworkers, and patients and looks forward to many more years here at Gorham Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Born in the Philippines but raised in Southern Maine, Rhene has been a dental assistant at our office since 2006. When not helping to bring smiles to the local community, she enjoys spending time with her two sons. The whole family shares a passion for sports and Rhene's specialty is snowboarding. Rhene truly enjoys her job and the relationships she has with her patients.
Randi grew up in Portland and has been working in the dental field for over 25 years. She started her career in the family owned Dental Lab. Randi is excited to be part of the Gorham Family and Cosmetic Dentistry team where she can continue to grow professionally. She resides in Gorham with her son Mike and their Boxer Niko.

Dr. Pidhajecky and his team are always efficient and friendly. They remember details about my personal life and always make it a warm and welcoming experience, in addition to leaving with sparking clean teeth. After a few years of coming here I no longer have anxiety about going to the dentist.

I was going to transfer to this dentist, because it was closer to me and I have heard good things from my friends. First impression sucked. 2 months prior to my first patient appointment I requested my x rays from my previous dentist to be sent to this one. Came to my first patient appointment to sit in the chair, for only the woman to say to me that they haven't received my x rays yet. It's been 2 months since I asked for the release of them and I am thinking there is no issues since my old dentist said they sent them to the email Gorham provided. The woman said I would have to pay out of pocket for X-rays which I understood and declined. But my thing was that Gorham family dentistry really couldn't call me in that 2 month time before my first appointment to let me know that they haven't received them before I wasted their time and my time? You call and text non stop to remind me of my appointment but you failed to follow up on getting my records for me to come in and just have to leave. I just don't understand why they couldn't call me or let me know when they called me the 3 times to remind me of my appointment. The fact that my old dentist sent them twice and I verified Gorhams email with my old dentist. It was frustrating and they didn't care at the front desk.

Love this practice! Dr. Pidhajecky is knowledgeable, caring, and takes the time to listen to your concerns. Everyone is super helpful. I've recommended this practice to my friends and family, too, and they've all had the same experience.

Last year I was looking for a new dentist and some friends recommended Dr. Pidhajecky. Both he and his staff have been friendly and helpful. I have never been more please with my oral health. I would highly recommend Gorham Family & Cosmetic Dentistry to everyone. Especially for anyone that needs a little help getting on the right path to success.

I have been going to Dr. Pidhajecky for years and have always had a wonderful experience. He and his staff always provide the best care. Dr. Pidhajecky takes the time to answer all my questions and explains any procedure he has to do. The wait time is always minimal, and his office staff and dental assistants are amazing.

Dr. Pidhajecky has been the best dentist for our family. Our very anxious 5 year old had to get 6 fillings and he didn't even cry! He even asks when he gets to go back again. The office environment is very relaxed, the entire staff is very kind, and Dr. Pidhajecky is very professional and skilled. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Update: Within four days of seeing my review, instead of being professional and proving that they deserve a better one, they have cancelled my appointments and I will no longer be going to them. Thus, I have lowered my rating from a two, to a one; and I will be personally letting everyone I know that his practice should be avoided. On the first visit he was rather rude and cold. From then on I noticed that he talks quite a bit about random stuff with his assistant, which makes me question his focus and quality of work. Not to mention it made me feel like I was something to pass the time until lunch. Speaking of the assistant, she constantly lets saliva drown me and when she realizes it, she basically deep throats me with the suction tube. The work feels shotty. When I mentioned it to him and he "fixed it", it felt like he literally did nothing. All in all, compared to other dental professionals I've gone to; he's unprofessional and rather close to the skill level that you get from people who are still studying. I would not recommend him to anyone who's getting more than just a cleaning.

Dr Pidhajecky and his staff are absolutely Fantastic! Not only being one of the most efficient Dentists I've ever been to but also the only Dentist who shows more customer/patient care than any other practice I've been to. Dr. Pidhajecky and his staff have picked up on problems with my teeth and gums that other Dentists have failed to do. Also the way the treat my children was as if they were his own. Great Dentist to go if you don't already have one, and if you do you should consider trying this practice anyway. Thank you Dr Pidhajecky and everyone in your staff for the wonderful patient care, the way you take care of my children's teeth, and have saved my teeth from severe harm.
