Dr. Michael Maltz was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended Yeshiva University in New York City and scored in the top half percent on his dental boards and was accepted to numerous Ivy League programs including Harvard, University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University. He attended University of Pennsylvania and UMDNJ, graduating with honors. At UMDNJ, he was recognized with the Outstanding Achievement Award in Periodontics. After completing dental school, he did a one year residency in general dentistry at Columbia University in NYC. He then continued his training at University of Maryland and Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. Upon completion of his specialty training, he entered into a partnership with, now retired, Dr. Laurence Gordon in his private practice in New City, NY. Dr.Maltz has been practicing periodontics and implant dentistry for almost 30 years and has placed over 20,000 dental implants. He has lectured nationally on digital implantology and currently has offices in New City, Middletown and Poughkeepsie, New York. He is a happily married father of five and grandfather of two. Dr. Maltz is an avid sports fan who enjoys fitness and spending time with his family.
