Bayla and Dr. Jeremy are happily married and have four amazing kids who keep them very busy with lots of laughing. When she has free time in her busy schedule, her favorite hobbies include planning dcor for community events, decorating and painting her home, listening to music, reading a good novel, spending girls night outs with her friends, working on puzzles, shopping, and doing Zumba. She also really enjoys baking and experimenting with all sorts of cake and cookie decorating.
Lisa is a veteran member of the Goodman Dental Care team, having joined the practice in 1987 over 30 years ago! She studied at the Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University, achieving her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Today, what she enjoys most about her job is getting to know each patient on a personal level, understanding what their dental needs are, and working hard to make their experience comfortable.
Lisa is from Norfolk, and she and her husband Pete have a daughter named Cara and a son named Samuel, as well as a son-in-law named Gene. In her free time, her top priorities are practicing her faith, being with family, and simply enjoying life to the fullest. Heres an interesting fact about her: her first job was actually having a paper route!
Charnae has worked in the dental field since 2009 and joined the Goodman Dental Care team in 2011. Her favorite part of working in a dental practice is getting to meet new people every day and help them rebuild their self-confidence by restoring their smiles. She attended Anne Arundel Community College for her training as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, and has also studied CAD/CAM dentistry in Texas with Dr. Gary, Dr. Jeremy, and Renee at E4D Technologies.
A native of nearby Severn, MD, Charnae has two sons and one daughter. In her free time, her biggest passions are singing, writing music, and cooking. Shes even had the opportunity to sing with professional recording artists in several states, starting from the age of 10! Shes written and recorded several R&B songs, as well as a gospel album with that a group that included three of her sisters.
Linda has been a part of the Goodman Dental Care team for over 50 years ever since the practice first opened! Its been incredible for her to watch families grow and bring in new generations of patients over time. While some would say its unusual to stay in one job for so many years, she learned early on how devoted, charitable, and honorable Dr. Goodman is, and he has been such a great example for her over time. She finds it very fun to work at the office and feels genuinely proud of it.
An Annapolis native, Linda is currently married to her loving husband Joe LeStrange. She has two cats, two dogs, and an African Grey Parrot at home. Traveling to distant places is a big passion of hers; in the past, shes been to Hawaii, New Zealand, and several countries along the Rhine she absolutely fell in love with Switzerland! Shes also planning to cruise along the Panama Canal and Central America next year.
Mary Jane has been with the practice since 1981 and loves having the opportunity to help our wonderful patients achieve their optimal level of oral health while working with such a fabulous staff. She attended the Community College of Baltimore and studied dental hygiene at the University of Maryland Dental School; shes also worked as a dental volunteer for the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In addition to being a registered dental hygienist, she is a certified dental assistant and a member of the Emergency Response Team of Maryland.
Renee joined the field of dentistry in 1987 and has worked with our team for well over two decades. She greatly enjoys having the opportunity to work at Goodman Dental Care and knowing that everyone together (the doctors, the patients, and the team) is making a positive impact when it comes to the dental needs of others. She received her certification in dental assisting in 1986 from Mercer County Vocational Technical Institute and graduated from Howard Community College in 1988 with her certification as an expanded functions dental assistant. She is also certified in radiology and digital dentistry.
Outside the office, Renee is blessed to have an amazing, Christ-centered family that includes her husband and twin daughters who have been blessed with the gifts of music and art. When she isnt busy at the practice, her favorite hobbies include keeping up with her childrens activities, camping, and practicing fitness. Shes always ready to take on any challenge!
Sarahs career in dentistry spans well over a full decade so far, first starting while she was in high school. Today, her favorite part of working at Goodman Dental Care is having such a close, family-like relationship with the patients. She completed her dental education at Hagerstown Community College and Keystone Technical Institute. She is certified as both an expanded functional dental assistant and an expanded functions orthodontic assistant. She is additionally trained in E4D, ZOOM! whitening, and dental radiography.
If Serena looks familiar, you may have seen her at our office back in 2005! She moved out of state for some time and rejoined our team in the summer of 2020. She earned her bachelors degree in dental hygiene and has since kept up to date with numerous continuing education classes. For her, educating and empowering patients on their journey to improved oral health is extremely rewarding.
Karen has an impressive 45 years of experience in the world of dentistry! She returned to our team in 2020 and has been providing our patients with compassionate care ever since. Although she is already an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, she continues to take continuing education courses to expand her expertise.

Goodman Dental is the BEST dental experience I've ever had! I researched a lot of dentists when I moved to Annapolis and definitely chose the right one. My fear /anxiety of needing a lot of dental work was gone from the moment I met the staff. Everyone in the office is so friendly, calming & non judgmental. They have state of the art technology, and the office is meticulously clean. Dr. Jeremy single handedly cured my fear of the dentist. I highly recommend Goodman Dental!!

I was there with a friend for a visit. The office was clean. The staff is very professional from when you walk in to the the Dentist assistant staff. I was there to help a friend explain her situation to the Dentist about her two root canals. The Dentist listened to both of us and then he did his examination of her mouth. My friend said he was very gentle and through and I was able to watch to tell her what was going on. I was so impressed with the amenities. All and all it was a great experience that I'm considering changing my Dentist. I was recommended from a friend and I would recommend.

Seriously almost fell asleep during my cleaning! Both Dr. Goodmans are excellent. They and their staff are gentle, thorough, and knowledgeable. True masters of their craft! I don't think I've ever been to a dental practice (or any doctor's office for that matter) where they showed such a great interest in the patient. Bravo!

I am so grateful to have found this dental practice. They have given me so much hope that, though an older adult and waaaaaayyyy late, I can get my teeth and gums in order, and keep them that way. I have extreme fear of dentists, exacerbated by uncaring and judgmental dentists in the past. I went to Goodman Dental -- Dr. Jeremy -- after years of not being seen by a dentist. He listened to my fears and concerns, and was incredibly kind, gentle, and patient. His dental assistant, Sarah, was also fantastic, and the two of them work together seamlessly. I had to have a large molar extracted (my fault) and two fillings -- one of which was in a very difficult place and position. He was fantastic. His wife was my hygienist, and she, too, was kind, gentle and totally non-judmental (and funny). The front desk support could not be any kinder and more helpful, as are the dental assistants. His is a family practice with a team of employees assisting who work well together. It truly is like one big happy family without being over the top. Just genuine, caring team of professionals who want to help take care of their patients' dental needs 45 minute drive from my house and worth every minute. I have finally found my dentist after many decades!

I have never had such a wonderful experience. From a young age I have always feared/dreaded the dentist. Not only were they able to see me immediately & also schedule my two other appointments within a week, they were also gentle, accommodating, patient & understanding of my fear AND I felt no pain. I've never felt so comfortable or been so satisfied all around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Dr Jeremy Goodman and staff are amazing! I chipped my front tooth and he squeezed me right in. Fixed me up with no pain. Very accommodating and very professional. They are always smiling!

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars for Goodman Dental, I would without hesitation. When I tell you that my fear - and by fear, I mean crippling anxiety - of the dentist is beyond measure .. I'm talking 'passed out taking my 12 year old to get his teeth cleaned' fear .. there is no joke behind it. I have avoided the dentist for myself for over 12 years now given this insane anxiety. Welp, my plan to avoid the dentist in entirety for the rest of my life went out the window when I cracked an already decaying tooth even further - and I can't tell you how glad I am that it did. My initial phone conversation with the office was incredibly welcoming - left no question unanswered. They got me in for an emergency appointment right away - I was floored! Once I got there - I kid you not - I was introduced to nearly the entire office. I was walked room to room and shown everything that could have ever given me anxiety of the unknown in the past - they were even able to take care of a full exam for me (x-rays and all!) while I was there. To keep an extremely long story short, I also had a family emergency take place while I was awaiting the dentist's arrival into my room - during my visit, compassion was shown and even following my visit .. George (I could never forget his name because this was SO huge to me) actually reached out to me the next morning to check on my family member and offer the office's regards. Listen - I know that a dental office's bedside manner has nothing to do with the work they're able to do on your teeth - but PLEASE trust me when I tell you that it really really did. That same care and empathy was given throughout my ENTIRE experience with them. When I came back in for my next appointment to take care of the tooth - even more anxious than before because, let's face it, this was when the real deal was about to take place - they managed to be even better! Every person I encountered in the office made sure I was 100% comfortable every single step of the way - from the level of my nitrous oxide to the volume in my headphones. In my 30 years of life, I have NEVER felt as at ease and completely relaxed as I did in this office. I wish I could find words to really tell you the difference that my experience with Goodman Dental made for me, but I feel that only people that share the same level of extreme anxiety as me could understand. I have since secured dental insurance and am HAPPILY waiting for my next appointment next week! I have bragged on Goodman Dental since the minute I left and will continue to! Dental health is SO important and having lifelong fear like I did has caused me a lot more discomfort than I ever needed to experience - my only regret with Goodman Dental was not finding them sooner!!!!!!!!

Quick and professional and honest. I had an emergency pop up and they got me in the same day and walked me through my options. Reception staff was helpful making sure I was all good to go for my appointment because my regular dentist was not open. I made the switch and couldn't be happier that I did!

From the second I walked into Goodman Dental Care I felt at ease. They are on top of COVID safety regulations and I felt totally comfortable taking off my mask. Everyone is super friendly and the office is beautiful and calming. Lisa cleaned my teeth and reassured about a concern I had. She was gentle and thorough. Overall my experience at Goodman Dental was excellent and I cant wait to go back!

Every person I encountered from the first phone call to schedule to completing my first visit was amazing. Exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and kind... every one of them. That's rare in most medical/dental offices these days. Worth every bit of the 40 min drive to get there. Highly recommend!

It was a Friday morning, at 8am, and my crown fell off while flossing. I was supposed to be going away for my anniversary that day and was due at the resort by noon. I called my dentist and they could not fit me in until Monday. I called Goodman and they were able to get me in for an appointment WITHIN 30 MINUTES. I wanted to cry. When I arrived the entire staff was AMAZING and they treated me like I was a VIP. They had me in and out so quickly and were so incredibly friendly that I am considering switching to them permanently. If you want a kind, thoughtful, prompt, and accommodating dentist, this place is it! I would give more stars if I could. 10/5 stars from me. Thank you to the wonderful staff, you saved my vacation!

A family member recommended I go to Goodman Dental when I moved to the area and was searching for a dentist. I am so glad I listened and visited their office. They are always so attentive, kind, and patient with me. They take the time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable during visits. Goodman Dental Care offers the best care in a professional and personal way. The office gives every patient what he/she needs to ensure the health of their teeth and they are always learning and incorporating the latest technologies in order to deliver the best care. Additionally, the staff is extremely warm and considerate. They are very encouraging and the office has a familial environment making the patient feel taken care of and comfortable.

I have had Dr. Gary Goodman as my dentist for 29 years and I also started seeing his son Dr. Jeremy Goodman when he joined the practice. Drs. Goodman provide the highest standard of dental care with minimum pain felt. They have a crown milling machine that makes crowns while you wait so no temporary crowns the whole process takes around 2 hours to get a crown. I highly recommend both doctors for all your dental needs.

Goodman Dental Care has been the best dental care experience I have ever had. I recently was moved to Maryland from North Carolina and was in need of a dentist. Dr. Goodman was recommended by a friend and I couldn't have made a better decision. Dr. Jeremy Goodman and his entire staff have been phenomenal! The level of customer service and care given by everyone at this practice sets a bar all other dental practices should aspire to. Goodman Dental Care is where I trust all my dental needs!
