Dr. Kyu J. Lee received his dental education from the Tufts University in the state of Massachusetts. After earning his DMD, Dr Lee entered into a dental practice in Newport News before establishing his own practice in Mechaniscville, VA in 2007 and in Clarksburg, MD in 2014.
Dr. Lee is dedicated to taking care of the dental health of families in the area with the high-quality care and comfortable fashion that patients expect. He believes that good oral hygiene is the key to a gorgeous/lovely smile.
Dr. Yi Zhong obtained her DMD degree with honor from Advanced Standing Program at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She also obtained master degree from Boston University for oral biology program and received dean's award for her outstanding academic performance. Dr.Zhong is an active member of the ADA, MSDA.
Dr.Zhong dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized dental care. Her clinical work involves mainly restorative and prosthodontic works. The practice philosophy of her is focused on evidence-based conservative dentistry, preventative care, and patient education.
Dr. Sang J. Cho grew up in Maryland and completed his undergraduate education at University of Maryland College Park where he earned a BS in Biological Science and specialized in physiology and neurobiology.
Dr. Cho later advanced his academic achievements and received the Master of Biomedical Science degree at Rutgers Graduate school. Then, he moved to Baltimore and completed his DDS at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He has continued to learn and embrace new technologies and the advancement of dentistry. He strongly believes the evidence-based dentistry and making sure that patients receive the best care in a kind and welcoming environment. He also strives to make it as pain free as possible and is always there to help anyone that has any anxiety with a calm and relaxed approach.

Terrible dentist. They did a few fillings for me last year. 1 filling broke and came our after 10 months. They made me wait almost a month to give me another appointment to fix it. They redid the broken filling and 3 weeks later, it came off/broke AGAIN! Went to a different dentist and they discovered that they didn't remove the cavity completely and that's why the filling kept on breaking off. Now my tooth is fixed and no longer have any problems by going to a actual dentist. Stay away from this place. The lady up front was not nice at all!!

I have been with Good Neighbor Dental for a few years now. They have been very helpful with my insurance coverage. Thanks to Mimi! Doctors here are also very nice, and be willing to explain the treatment options I have. I trust their service, and have not had any issues so far. Thumbs up to Good Neighbor Dental, and please keep up the good work! I will post another review later after my tooth implant.

Please avoid this place , I never has issue about my teeth before coming here , I was having headaches and just thought of checking if I had any issues with my teeth , they took X-rays and said I need a few cavities filled , after filling the first cavity I started having irritation on that teeth also I got one side of teeth cleaned from here and guess what I am having pain in only the part that was cleaned here. Avoid !!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! My wife just went in for her cleaning. First she waited over an hour just for the dentist to get to her. Then the dentist rushed (took less than 2 minutes) the job and jabbed her in the mouth with a pick on top of it all. After, the gave her mouthwash without letting her sit up first. And to top it off, they didn't floss. And mysteriously, a cavity that was there the previous visit disappeared this visit.

Excellent care from Dr. Lee ! He is a very kind, caring, responsive and respectful doctor. He is very patient to me. Would highly recommend Dr. Lee to anyone looking for professional dental care.

Stay away from Good Neighbor Dental as they are not good enough to be a good Dental for the neighborhood. NOT a welcoming atmosphere. 1st ,they LACK communication skills. I experienced worse treatment ever with in this place especially with the receptionist. I switched to this location because of convenience. The waiting time is horrible!! Anything over 20 is not okay. Due to Covid-19 one has to wait outside the office until you are called in, having to wait 30 minutes on a cold winter is unacceptabl. 2nd, and most important is quality of care. During one of my kids visit I noticed the dentist was not kid-friendly at all which made it not a fun place to be. The dentist did not engage in a basic conversation nor smile and that left me wondering whether kids and people of color were indeed welcome to this place. One would expect a thorough dental exam before dental cleaning and other routine care recommendations after cleaning and to my surprise, that was not the case instead my kids were rushed out of the door within 25 minutes and yet the average length of time of Dental dentsl exam and cleaning is 30 to one hour for one patient. 3rd, and this happened on my first visit in 2019. After the dentist finished cleaning my teeth I was told they had run out of give away toothbrush and I could pass by on another day if I wanted to to get one. When I did, the receptionist told me that I needed to schedule an appointment to obtain a toothbrush. Also, they have written policy that a minor patient has to be accompanied by a biological parent or legal guardian of which legal documents have to be provided so, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, older siblings over 18 years, and house managers aka nannies be warned before accompanying minors to this location.

Fraudulent company, misrepresented to my wife saying you are covered by insurance and when my wife was apprehensive the front desk repeatedly urged her back into the chair. Then when she left after the cleaning the front desk said oh you aren't covered. Deceitful company that made promises to a patient who relied on it to their detriment. They will be reported to Better Business as well.

I really had a good experience here! Dr. Park took his time and was very accommodating. He explained clearly the procedures and was very gentle with the shot/cleaning. The staff are also super nice, helpful and gentle.

Do NOT go here. I go to the dentist every 6 months and have only had 1 cavity in my life. Having recently moved to Clarksburg, I wanted to move to a closer dentist. After taking x-rays (even though I told them I had x-rays 6 months ago at my prior Rockville dentist), the dentist told me I had 9 cavities! I decided to get a second opinion. Then my insurance EOB just came in. They charged $40 in non-covered fees for "Hygiene Instruction" What is that? Is it because they told me to brush better and floss more? Every dentist has told me that. Don't go here, they just want your money and will charge you for unnecessary things!
