Holistic dentistry, biological dentistry, natural dentistry, whole body dentistry, systemic dentistry, organic dentistry, non-toxic dentistry, and more they all apply to GOODHEALTH.dental. But, please let me explain what this all really means

It means that GOODHEALTH.dental applies only clean, healthy dental treatments as a standard for our practice. But it is important to understand that Healthy Dentistry (often called Holistic Dentistry) is a different thing to each person. For some people this may be a cosmetic treatment. For some it is mercury removal, or treating gum disease. For others its all about family dental care with an emphasis on prevention. Some patients are just interested in maintaining what they have, with a focus on avoiding larger issues down the road. Many people are concerned about pain, addressing that is their primary concern. My conclusion: Everyones perception is important. What that means to me: I consider it my job to listen to all your concerns, then use all my skills, knowledge and judgement to address your dental issues in the best and most healthy way for you.

How? I truly look at each person as a unique individual. And when I say person, I mean looking at you as a whole person, not just your teeth. Ive learned that it is crucial to listen carefully to each patient. Understanding your needs and looking beyond the teeth into the head, neck, airway, posture, habits, lifestyle, and systemic medical conditions, allows me to address your dental issues. It also helps me determine the best treatment to enhance and protect your overall health in the long term.

Last but not least, GOODHEALTH.dental is never about selling dentistry. Were about doing the right thing for you. Always. Sometimes that means providing a combination of dental treatments to achieve the best result. And sometimes the most minimal, conservative dentistry could be the best approach for you and your health.

We care. We listen. We diagnose. We recommend. And we talk it over with you, helping you make an informed decision. In the end its really up to you. I always want to do the right thing for you. Sound fair?

  • Cleveland Ohiois a city full of history and a vibrant, rich community. We focus on helping our patients live their life to the fullest so they can be a part of their city and take advantage of all it has to offer.

We pride ourselves on the variety of beautiful locations we can step right outside our doorsteps into and are celebrating our 100th Year Anniversary for theCleveland Metro Parks. Ideally situated near the mouth of theCuyahoga River, Cleveland is located on the southern shore ofLake Eerie. We have even earned the nickname ofThe Forest City.

There are millions of abandoned dogs in the United States every year. On average, their fate is bleak. Either living on the streets with no home or euthanized in shelters. Reka was found abandoned in the streets of Miami when she was a puppy. My son took her in and nursed her back to health. During that same time, I suffered a massive heart attack. After my initial recovery, he drove her to Cleveland to give to me. He felt having her would force me to walk a few times a day. And he was right ...

Reka and I quickly bonded and she became my cardiac rehab partner. In early 2020 I started bringing her to the office as I did not want to keep putting her in daycare during work hours. She adapted very quickly to the office. The response from our patients has been overwhelmingly positive. Many people bring her gifts and treats.

Reka is very good with people as she is very gentle and sweet. In fact, Reka means sweetness in the Maori language. She has her certification as a support animal. She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback with a little bit of Shar-Pei. Having her with me during the day at work has been a real blessing for my practice, my patients, and myself personally.

In coming to this conclusion, we try to discover the root cause (literally) of your problem rather than immediately jumping to extraction as being the only solution. Preserving your natural dentition as much as possible is an absolute priority.

When we decide to preform an extraction, this is because we are confident it is necessary and would be in extremely poor practice for us not to do so. Leaving an infected, broken or decaying tooth in your gums is almost always a danger to your health and wellbeing.

Whether you get hit in the face by a ball at your family BBQ, crack your tooth on 10-year old tootsie roll you found at the back of your snack drawer or experience some other kind of freak accident, a shattered or badly broken tooth almost always needs to be pulled.

Teeth can grow at the most unexpected angles in your mouth. Unfortunately, this means your teeth can surface from dangerous angles that can damage other teeth, which cancausing seriousjoint and pain problems. In most cases, this tooth needs the boot!

A holistic approach to dentistry looks at the patient as awholeperson, notjustthe teeth. It is about looking beyond the mouth to the rest of the body, and evaluating that relationship. Using this approach with soundneuromuscular principles, and a respect fornon-toxic dental materials, treatments can be offered that addressesheadaches, neck pain, facial pain,TMJ,sleep problems, as well at the common dental issues safely, andwith thewhole body in mind.

Dr. Scott Rose, holistic dentist Cleveland Solon, on how early influences shaped his approach to dentistry:When I was a kid, my mom worked for a physician. On Saturdays I used to take the bus to hang out in the office. He used to let me sit behind his desk and look at his books and medical journals. Even at that young age, I saw he treated his patients as people, not just body parts. We would talk sometimes and he would tell me the most important thing in medicine is to look at the whole person, not just what hurts them. This stuck with me throughout life and helped shape a practice philosophy.

Many people are apprehensive about visiting the dentist, and being sent to multiple facilities and specialists to have issues resolved can make the process much more arduous as well as inconsistent in quality and approach.

A holistic dentist in Cleveland Solon looks at the quality of life, not just the quality of teeth. Its this philosophical approach that drives the treatment outcome, not just the materials used. The mouth is the main entrance to your body. What goes in has a significant impact on your entire body! Toxic materials in food, drinks, and medications can cause systemic damage.

Your mouth is also the location for the most common infections to men, women, and children: Gum disease and tooth decay. When this occurs we fill and restore teeth, but why did it occur in the first place? The more important question is: How to avoid dental problems? Our holistic approach to oral health ensures that the focus is not only on teeth problems, but how the problem relates to other issues.

Good Health Dental staff is trained in advanced dental treatment procedures and our facility is committed to provide you with a comfortable, health focused experience. We can help with providing long-term plans in order to keep your healthy smile as long as possible.

Many people desire to improve their teeth for a long time but have hesitated due to confusion about holistic dentistry. At Good Health Dental, we provide clear, non-complex, affordable dental services with an innovative holistic vision. Let us help you to obtain a beautiful, healthy smile.

If you prefer to have your dental work done with minimal impact to your surrounding tissue, or would like to avoid infection, lengthy healing times and potentially unnecessary injections, then read on.

Our minimally invasive approach to dentistry is something we believe is best for all of our patients. It is part of our desire to bring a holistic, biologically safe form of dentistry to you and your family.

Minimally invasive dentistry means we use different methods to treat and care for you and your family that cause less trauma to the tissues in your mouth, are less likely to encourage infection, will help to shorten healing time, will cause less inflammation to your both your mouth and body.

We avoid unnecessary use of things like drills, anaesthetics, antibiotics and pain killers. Our desire to constantly learn keeps us at the forefront of new dental therapies and techniques, allowing us to provide you with more options.

The sound and vibration from the dentists drill has been thecauseof many a nightmare! But with our laser technology there are no disconcerting vibrations and only a light tapping sound. No need for anaesthesia injections due there being minimal pain, and its safe for use on patients of all ages.

When Ozone Therapy is usedit often improves the results we see, speeding healing, and creating a better result all around. And thanks to its non-invasive nature, it causes minimal discomfort and no pain.

But the materials used have also changed older options like mercury fillings have been abandoned in favor ofnon-toxic dental materialsin Solon (Cleveland), OH.These materials eliminate the possibility of harmful side effects and provehealthier in the long term.

We strive to be a place that patients can rely on for dental treatments that have lasting positive effects on their overall health. This is the basis for our decision toexclusivelyuse non-toxic materials at our dental facility in Solon (Cleveland), OH.

Dr. Kyle went over my options to replace my tooth & helped calm my dental anxiety. His assistants Dani & Tonya were fantastic! As well as his front desk staff Toni & Bree were very welcoming & i would highly recommend coming to this practice! Can't say enough great things!

Dr. Rose is amazing. I was a patient there for several years before moving away and switching practices. He took the most holistic, least invasive approach to my and my child's dental care, including avoiding an unnecessary dental surgery prescribed by another dentist. We have allergies to medications but he found alternatives for us. Being allergic to epinephrine makes dental procedures a lot more complicated for the dentist, but he was very patient and understanding and worked around it. I had old dental work needing replaced: a couple fillings, a crown, and an implant, and what he did with my teeth was truly a work of art. He was the first dentist who ever made an Invisalign retainer that actually perfectly fit. You can tell that he genuinely cares for his patients as individuals. I'd recommend him to anyone. I'd give him 10 stars if I could! However, I took off one star because of the following: Reason one: the person in his office who handles billing (Toni) kept making mistakes. For one thing, I filled out all sorts of forms, provided my ID and dental insurance cards, and yet after all of that, plus being a patient for several years with records going back and forth to specialists and insurance, they STILL have my last name wrong in my record somehow. My last name is short, Cree (Native American), EASILY spelled, and it's beautiful. The name they replaced it with is offensive and I don't understand how that mistake could be made. It's not just a typo. It's what kids in grade school would say to make fun of my last name. I had to keep checking my bills because errors were being made with credits not posting properly. They also told me that a procedure was denied by insurance, but I didn't have an EOB showing that, so I asked for the claim number and called insurance myself. Insurance said that it WAS covered, and that the pre-cert had been denied because the dental office submitted it with the wrong SSN/DOB, and that the patient data was SO very wrong that they couldn't even tell that it was for me. They were only able to locate the claim because I provided the claim number. This was after I had been a patient there for several years! Insurance corrected it and paid it after all, but if I hadn't called, insurance wouldn't have paid a cent. Dental work is stressful enough, even with an awesome dentist, without one having to deal with combing through EOBs and payment records and having to make extra phone calls to insurance. Reason two: it's near impossible to schedule, even 6 months in advance. Everyone loves him! There were scheduling errors as well, including twice when they called me the day of/day before to inform me that there was an issue with my appointment and that I had to wait additional weeks/months to get in. I have multiple small children and had to arrange all sorts of things in order to go to dental appointments alone, but they didn't care. Yet when they called to say they had a last-minute opening for my son and he ended up not making it to the appointment in time (and he even called them back to let them know that he was running late), they billed me $50 for a missed appointment fee (which insurance doesn't pay). Dr. Rose is genuinely that amazing of a dentist that I would STILL wholeheartedly recommend him, in spite of the chart errors, billing issues and scheduling issues that I experienced.

My wife recently changed over to Dr. Rose and its been a while since I've been to the dentist. I could not be happier with the experience I just had. Amazing staff, and Dr. Rose is a great guy. I felt well taken care of and the process was very efficient. I filled out my forms online, the cleaning was quick and painless (mostly painless! lol). After some experiences with really bad dentists in the past, I will definitely be sticking here for many years to come.

If you are looking for high quality and reliable dental care, I cannot say enough good things about Good Health Dental. I started seeing Dr. Rose as a patient when I was a kid and 24 years later, I am bringing my own family in. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming, flexible with appointment needs and happy to clarify insurance coverage if you have questions. Dr. Rose is highly knowledgeable, dedicated and efficient and always happy to explain how treatments work and why they are needed or what options are available. It's clear from the way everyone is greeted from the moment they walk in that this is a business that values patients over profits and that means a lot to me.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rose's for more than ten years. Dr. Rose made me feel comfortable from the moment I met him. He was very compassionate, caring, and professional. He made a plan to restore my poor dental health into a confident, attractive smile and I am grateful beyond written words. He truly gave me a gift. Dr. Rose and his staff made me feel positive and outgoing, which in fact, enriched my life! I now enjoy going to my dental visits and wish I had found Dr. Rose a long time ago.

This dentist was a total jerk, his hygienist was however sweet and thorough. After researching and reading his reviews I decided to give this place a try as I've had major anxiety over my receding gum issue. He basically gave me the "gloom and doom" speech leaving me feeling hopeless. I did find a wonderful place that was. very hopeful and is helping me restore my teeth and gums. This guy may have meant well, but completely went about it in the wrong way. If you have anxiety about the dentist or fear he may tell you off for letting your teeth go this is not the place for you. He is NOT encouraging whatsoever. I left feeling horrible about myself.

Dr. Rose is just amazing, and so very talented. This may sound weird but my teeth actually feel happy for once I've had a few areas that have been bothering me for over 10 years and other dentists have just not cared to take the time to do it right. Dr. Rose smoothed it all out in one shot. He is a good soul, and his staff are great too. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
