Its not common for a business administrator to have a background in dentistry, but thats part of what makes Jessica so special. Jessica has been in the dental field for 15 years with experience in Ortho and general dentistry. With her unique proficiency and demonstrated capability, Jessica goes above and beyond to ensure that our patients always receive the very best care.

Jaime has been working in the dental field for over 25 years! After a brief stint in dental assisting, she realized that she would be better suited in the front end of the dental practice. Her favorite part of this job is seeing the transformation; from an apprehensive patient that doesnt smile changing to a confident, smiling patient.

Jaime has been married to her husband, Jason, for 27 years. She has 2 children: Jordan (24) and Kaylen (18). She is entering into the empty-nester phase of her marriage and cannot wait to see what the future holds for her children since they have moved on to college or their own home.

She still has her fur babies: KJ, a yorkie and Brier, and a 1-year-old chocolate lab. She enjoys visiting the local breweries, wineries, having her feet in the sand, and hearing the ocean in the background.

Debbie brings decades of experience to Goochland Dentistry with her infectious smile and sharp business acumen. Before joining the Goochland Dentistry team, Debbie was in the dental field while serving 10 years in the U.S Army. After official training, she spent the next 25 years managing a dental practice while simultaneously serving as a hygienist. It is our extreme pleasure to host her now, where she has found a home at Goochland Dentistry.

Meet Samantha, one of our great hygienists! Samantha grew up in the small town of Lebanon where she resided near the mountains of Southwest Virginia. Samantha has been in the dental field for almost 20 years and besides her current title of dental hygienist, she has been a dental assistant, office manager, and insurance coordinator.

Christine was born and raised in Midlothian before attending Old Dominion University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Sociology. With her unique educational background, Christine offers both an experienced and calming hand to our practice, making our patients feel at home.

She and her husband, Judah, recently bought their first home in Chesterfield County. They recently rescued a tripod Plott hound, named Ronin. Spoiling their sweet dog and watching the Denver Broncos takes up their spare time.

Denise was born in San Jose, CA, and moved to VA in 1985. She attended J. Sargent Reynolds for Dental Assisting School and graduated in 2005. She has been assisting for 15 years and loves to work with Dr. Murchie on cosmetic, dental implant, and Invisalign cases! What she loves about dentistry is being able to help patients smile again.

Tammi spent 15 years of her career in pediatric dentistry. As a result, she is able to calm frazzled nerves and invoke a calming, relaxed environment. She loves being a dental assistant and really enjoys helping patients with their smiles. Tammi also teaches dental assisting school twice a week in addition to working full time with us. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her grandson and her two daughters.

Dr. Murchie is a true Virginia native, having been born and raised in Falls Church before moving to Richmond for continued studies. He attended dental school at the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry where he graduated cum laude in 2000, before moving on to MCV/VCU for his post-graduate residency.

His scholastic merits do not stop there. As part of his ongoing commitment to continuing education, Dr. Murchie is a member of several notable medical organizations. He continues to pursue the latest developments and training available through Floridas esteemed Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies.

He has received advanced training from Dr. David Galler for Invisalign, Dr. Christian Coachman regarding smile design and the integration of technology in dental practice, and Teeth Express from Biohorizons.

Despite his many professional demands, Dr. Murchie remains a constant fixture within the community. He serves as a Clinicians Report evaluator and even finds time to volunteer at Virginia Home, where he works with disabled patients.

He and his wife, Christy, and daughter Chloe relocated from Asheville, NC to be closer to family and to partake in their favorite activities which include playing basketball, hiking, kayaking, and Clemson University and Baltimore Ravens football.
