I went to have my wisdom teeth removed a couple years ago, and my sister went to have hers removed recently. During my experience I woke up during the surgery. I had not been given enough gas to properly knock me out. The tooth that he was working on when I woke up ended up swelling the most with numbness that lasted much longer than any other. Probably a result from my crying to get them to give me more gas so I would stop feeling the digging being done on my mouth. Horrible experience. Fast forward two years and my sister needs to get hers removed. The thought is that it was a fluke and surely they would know the right formula to make sure that their patients do not wake up during the surgery. She woke up in the middle of her surgery as well. We were both in and out in 20 minutes. My guess is they have a new system to get us in and out faster, but at the expense of our waking up to a huge drill being driven into our skull. If you need a fast procedure, these are your people. If you prefer not to know what is going on while you are under the knife, go somewhere else.

I have had to see Dr. Gonzalez for multiple reasons now and each visit and procedure with him have been pleasant. My experience in this office compared to any other dental office in general has been one of the best. My most recent procedure was to remove a molar that had a root canal many years ago which somehow developed fluid and drainage at the bottom of the tooth and down my neck. Fluid has sat in my jaw and neck for 12+ years and I have seen multiple doctors and dentists for this issue, all of which were not willing to help with the problem or figuring it out. After having my most recent CT scan, we decided the tooth needed to come out in order to solve the problem with the fluids and tissues underneath the tooth. Dr Gonzalez is always so calm and caring. He approached this situation in a way no other doctor or dentist had. He has returned all my calls, and answered all of my questions since surgery. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients.

I went in to have a tooth surgically removed with anesthesia was told 225 with all, here there get an IV of sodium chloride, and was charged 230 for heavy sedation, and surgical procedure. Wrong! He pulled it ,I was not heavily sedated. They filed it with my insurance as a surgical procedure. That's a false claim and I find it sad that someone who is supposed to help you is just out to make a dollar and file false claims.. Also not very friendly dr. or staff. Pretty much give me your money and get out the back door.. I will be filing a grievance with my dental insurance as they have informed me to do so.. people like this is why insurance is the way it is. Sad,sad. I will never go back. He acted as if I was trash that he didn't even want to speak ro. No bedside manner... Just sad...
