I grew up in the Garden of Eden called Brooklyn. At age nine I went through a short course of orthodontics that convinced me this would be a profession for me. I applied to and was accepted into the Downstate Medical Science Institute at Midwood High School. To convince myself that my childhood aspiration was not just a fleeting fancy I began volunteering in the Dental Department at Brookdale Hospital. College took me to Brandeis University where I majored in Biology.
Hard work then opened the door to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where I graduated with honors. Understanding that a good specialist should have a broad understanding of all the intricacies and techniques of dentistry as a whole, I completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital followed by two years of private general practice in Manhattan. It was then that I applied to and was accepted into the two-year postgraduate orthodontic program at New York University. I have taught orthodontics at NYU and have presented independent research at the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.
I have been a resident of Port Washington since 1991 and opened my orthodontic practice here in 1992. I am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. I am a Clinical Research Fellow for the Foundation For Orthodontic Research And Continuing Education.

Dr. Goldstein and staff are so accommodating every time I called and went for a visit. I went for 2 years for my braces and I love my teeth! He did an excellent job! The office is also very nice and newly renovated, I would highly recommend him as an orthodontist.

Amazing office! Dr Goldstein treated both of my children. He was wonderful, staff was wonderful and his results are amazing! Couldn't have been treated better!

Wish I could give no stars! I'll start off by saying after calling everyday during the week to schedule my nieces appointment, I finally got an answer and the lady was very rude and didn't want to be bothered. If you hate your job that much, give it to someone who actually wants to work! My friend has 3 kids and tried to come here but was told there aren't any discounts. Totally fine but some doctors who aren't so cheap, do offer family discounts! Speaking of cheap you can tell he squeezes as many people in as he can in one day. Not surprising that the assistants do all of the work! People are paying thousands of dollars for the doctor to simply just check the assistants work. It is super busy and feels like each patient is rushed through their treatment. Don't bother going here. There are plenty of other orthodontists out there who have cleaner more organized environments. Not worth your time or money!

I'm an old patient of Dr. Goldsteins, and my retainer behind my teeth broke so I googled his name to find the phone number to schedule an appointment. I've always known the staff to be super funny, kind, and enjoyable to be around. When I called, I had the same feelings. I didn't get the name of who I spoke to, but she was very nice and accommodating. She gave me an appointment as soon as I was available to come in. I have recommended a lot of people to see Dr. Goldstein for braces and I will continue to. If I could, I would give this office 10 stars; they are the best!!!

Seems as if the doctor paid for these reviews. Completely overrated. Very appalled by the way my wife and family were treated. Degrading to women.

They are very amazing and always and already know me when I get there, I typically spend like 30 mins there and everyone is nice and even gave out popcorn once with a mask for thanksgiving.

First impressions are everything. And mine started with just a phone call. I got referred to this office by my sons pediatric dentist (Magic Squad Dental). The first time I called there was no answer. Which was fine. When I called back, the receptionist picked up the phone with an attitude. I asked a question and she answered with an attitude. If you hate what you do so much, find another job. Not even wasting my time with this place.

I would like to start off by saying dr. Goldstein and his staff are very friendly. For example dr Goldstein and his staff always ask there patients how they are doing and if they experience any pain with there braces on. Also this place is very tidy and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who is planning to get braces. Best orthodontist place ever!
