For three generations, the Goldstein family name has held a prominent place in the Atlanta dental community, and they are looking to the future with a fourth generation of aspiring doctors. This type of commitment begins with personal and professional relationships that last a lifetime. Dr. Cary Goldstein decided in 1995, after 11 years of practicing with his father, to open the Goldstein Dental Center. His vision was to continue this commitment by creating an environment for personalized care. Though the practice focuses on cosmetic and implant dentistry, it also provides routine cleanings with an emphasis on preventive/conservative dentistry. Dr. Goldstein complements these services with a highly trained and experienced staff.
The Goldstein Dental Center is located in the heart of Buckhead and is equipped with the finest in quality equipment. Personalized care begins with floral aromatherapy in every room. In every suite, televisions are mounted in the ceiling above the patients headrests, and headphones are provided to play the soundtrack to the cable programming. Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, is complimentary with each visit, which can help to relax nervous patients or just make them feel good. Prior to his career in dentistry, Dr. Cary Goldstein completed a Bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Georgia in 1980. He went on to later receive his DMD from the Medical College of Georgia, followed by post-graduate studies in prosthodontics at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
Following his professional training, Dr. Goldstein returned home to Atlanta and was part of a multi-disciplinary private practice with five other clinicians. In 1996, Dr. Goldstein established his own practice in a new office on East Andrews Drive. Hes currently a clinical instructor in Oral Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and a past special lecturer in Esthetic Dentistry at Emory University.
Dr. Goldstein lives and breathes his craft for dentistry. Hes a highly respected, talented dentist, as well as a teacher and speaker. Dr. Golstein is the senior author of Imaging in Esthetic Dentistry, a textbook on the use of computerized imaging in esthetic dentistry.
He lectures frequently on this subject and also teaches the functional and esthetic aspects of cosmetic dentistry to other dentists. His speaking invitations have not only taken him throughout the United States, but also to Europe, Mexico, South America, and Asia.
Following a long tradition of excellence in patient care, Dr. Goldstein is a third-generation dentist behind his father, grandfather, cousins, and now his brother and sister, too. Based on his family history, you can understand why Dr. Goldstein says, Dentistry is in my genes.
Dr. Goldstein is a certified Lumineers provider and one of two doctors in the United States that is sponsored by DenMat. Through this reputable sponsorship, Dr. Goldstein has been actively involved in teaching and giving hands-on courses on how to do Lumineers around the US.

Dr. Sheryl Wait grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta in Covington. She spent 4 years as a Bulldog at the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2000. She continued her studies in Augusta, attending the Medical College of Georgia, and earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2004. She has enjoyed practicing dentistry in the Greater Atlanta area for over 15 years. She is also an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, the American Dental association, and the Georgia Dental Association.
I am from beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC where my childhood was spent swimming and fishing. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in 1972 from Morris College Sumter, SC where I majored in Elementary Education. I continued my studies in 1976 at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC receiving a Masters in Special Education. We moved to GA, and I attended the Atlanta College where I received my dental background. I have managed two very successful dental practices which has prepared me for the position that I hold today. I have a love for dentistry and a greater love for people. I am a licensed Psychologist as well as the Pastor of The Cathedral of Grace Ministries. I lead a very active life as a psychologist, Pastor, wife, mother, and Nanna. I am most grateful that I am a cancer survivor and decided that quitting is not an option in my life.
Raschelle is a native of Atlanta and has been practicing dental hygiene for 15 years. She completed a 5 year residency with Grady Memorial and Center for Disease Control. She has received accolades from the Morehouse School of Medicine and University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two labradoodles-Hera and Apollo.
Rose grew up in Colorado, where she worked as a dental hygienist for eight years. When she left Denver, she continued to practice hygiene in three different states before moving to Georgia. She has been working in Georgia for over 14 years. In her spare time, she and her three children enjoy spending time together exploring new adventures.
I have been in dentistry for over 10 years. I received my Dental Assistant certification in 2005 at Dental Careers Institute, where I am now the Clinical Director/Instructor. I attended Atlanta Tech College in 2009, where I received my Expanded Duties certification. I joined the Goldstein Dental Center in 2010. I have a huge, compassionate heart and a vast knowledge of dentistry. I am great at putting nervous patients at ease. When I am not working, I love spending time with my beautiful children, Jamari and Jailyn. I enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people.
I was born and raised in Cobb County. I received my dental assistant training in the United States Navy in which I proudly served for six years. I am also an instructor at Dental Careers Institute where we produce knowledgeable dental assistants. I feel very blessed to be a part of Goldstein Dental Center. When I am not at the office, I enjoy watching the only real football team in the SEC, the Tennessee VOLS, as well as spending time with my son and family.

Both my mother in law and husband recommended this practice to me and I am definitely happy I took their advice and understood why they switched here! The dental hygienist, Dee, (I hope i spelled that correctly) and Dr. Walt were so gentle and friendly. They took the time to explain everything they were doing and even though I was the last patient of the day, i didn't feel rushed at all. They even removed some of the residual cement of a permanent retainer I had gotten taken out 10+ years ago, which my previous dentists have always told me I had it but never took action to remove it in the past. They also made sure I did not experience any discomfort at all and were cognizant to take any notes of certain preferences for next time. I will am already looking forward to my next dental cleaning next year! :)

Dr. Goldstein really is superb. I had a crown done and it really was worth going to him over other dentists. I had no pain at all. He is an artist. The work is top notch and he goes the extra steps to make sure it is done the right way. You can't being doing deals on your teeth - you must have any work on your teeth done by the best. I strongly recommend Dr. Goldstein. You will have no problems and peace of mind. Jackie was fantastic. Marie is also A+. The staff is prompt and does not make mistakes.

Everyone is so professional and so friendly I love every time I go they make me feel right at home. Rochelle is my dental hygienist and she makes me feel very comfortable when cleaning my teeth , znd she is hilarious. I drive 45 minutes each visit znd you know what, I don't even mind. Dr. Goldstein and his whole team are just amazing. I have been going to Dr. Goldstein for well over a year. He has always been transparent and information forward. He always provides excellent advice with no sales pressure. Recently I decided to have porcelain veneers on some of my teeth that had lost a significant amount of their enamel. This work was completed less than two weeks ago. To say I am pleased with the results is an understatement. People are so complimentary of my smile. What I most appreciate is the way Dr. Goldstein crafted each tooth. They look amazing and most important, they look real. Each tooth has been sculpted to be the proper size and shape to accent my other teeth. It is not inaccurate to say he is an artist. In addition everyone on his team that I have worked with is professional, courteous, kind and fun to be around. For any dental work and especially any cosmetic procedures - most highly recommended.

Having major dental work is no picnic. Cosmetic work...you want the best. I got the best and I got so much more. A caring team, a dentist who refused to settle for less than his very best (he is an artist). We checked for color match in natural and artificial light. Dr. Goldstein was by my side as we went back and forth four times. The experience was pain and stress free, actually comforting. I am thrilled with the entire experience and final result. I had a very good experience for my first visit to Goldstein Dental Center! I love their location and the office staff, hygienist and Dr. Perlow were great! The office had a relaxed atmosphere and I felt very calm there. That's important for a dental office! I look forward to having them take care of my smile for a long time. I almost didn't give them 5 stars because I wasn't told beforehand that I would have to return another day to get my cleaning. I have problems with transportation and it's an extra bother. But I think it will be okay. Also Dr. Perlow seemed to be working on too many patients at the same time because he spent a lot of time with me, but would have to leave for a while and then come back several times. This will not keep me from continuing with my care there, I just feel bad that he has to be so busy. He seems to be a great dentist and I'm happy he takes my insurance.

I've always hated going to the dentist but that has changed since switching to Goldstein Dental. I absolutely love seeing Dr. Wait. I came in recently with concerns about the wearing of my enamel on my front teeth. She was able to address my concerns and I left the office feeling like I had brand new teeth. Her assistant kept praising how great my teeth looked and it really made all the difference in how great I felt leaving the office. The staff is always so nice and courteous. I can't praise this dental office enough.

This is the best dentist I've been to... Everyone there is so nice and welcoming... Queen Sarah took care of me and made sure that I was comfortable... Dr. Jacob Perlow's very nice, friendly and experienced... They actually made me feel like family and it was hard to leave lol... I'll definitely be sticking with this dentist!
