Dr. Kent Large began treating patients at Goldendale Dental in 2018. Our location has been a dental office for over 50 years. It may have been refreshed with modern dcor and state-of-the-art dental technology, but we remain dedicated to the traditional values of delivering quality, family-oriented dental care with a gentle hand.
Dr. Kent Large grew up in Hockinson, WA, and graduated from Prairie High School. After graduation from Washington State University with a degree in engineering, he worked throughout the state on many infrastructure projects. While he enjoyed engineering, he wanted to chase his goal of studying dentistry. So, with his wife and his two sons, they moved to southern California so he could attend Western University of Health Sciences. After graduating with his dental degree, they moved back to the Northwest to be closer to friends and family. On the weekends, you will likely see Dr. Large at various sporting events with his two sons or fly-fishing wherever the fish are running!

Kent Large and his staff are exceptional. I have always disliked going to dentist but Goldendale Dental does such a good job of making you at ease and comfortable it is almost a pleasure going there. If you need dental work, you won't find a better office.

These are psycholaths they proceeded to poke my husband's infected tooth w the tool.used.to scrape plaque then prepared to pull an infected tooth w out antibiotics it was my husband that stopped them and insisted they give antibiotics first, they argued w him until he began to get up and leave he never returned. Today I see my friend has been in the hospital for an infection that has spread after going in here for pain and antibiotics they went ahead and began to pull her tooth only she did not know u must take antibiotics before pulling an Infected tooth. She was nine months pregnant. Her doctor at the ER said the same she never should have been worked on before treating Infiction. They're monsters the female nurse and male dentist should be prosecuted!

What a fantastic experience. I've never been so relaxed while getting my teeth x-rayed thanks to staff warning me about awkward angles/spots where my mouth might hurt and letting me know how close I was to being done the entire time. Everything was quick and they were extremely gentle. I was also really impressed with how well they explained the costs and future work. They were also SO understanding about working within the short-time frame I have before I lose dental insurance. I'm so relieved to have found a local dental team that's so fantastic.

IT is almost a miracle to have this level of professionalism and proficiency at a small town dentist. They work with you for your scheduling, payment options and dental needs. You cannot go wrong coming to see Dr Large. Since I do not use any numbing agent on my teeth for fillings or crowns, it is import for the dentist to be competent and knowledgeable. Dr Large has my full confidence. And as a plus his hygienist is probably the best I have ever gone to in the last 50 years.

Our experience was great! Noticed a cavity on my 6 year old's tooth, and initially called a pediatric dentist but they couldn't see us for months. Dr. Kent's office offered us a same day appointment. The staff is so friendly and kind, and explained everything very well. My kiddo was a little apprehensive at first, but Kim was so good with him and put him at ease. Not only did they get us in so quickly for the exam, but we were able to schedule a follow up within 2 weeks. Right there I decided to schedule the whole family to establish care, and we'll all be seen within the month for cleanings when other places might be months out. Thank you Dr. Kent and crew!
