The people in Californias central valley are as diverse as the crops we grow and the food we produce for the nation. Golden Valley Health Centers cares for people from all walks of life. As a Federally Qualified Health Center an FQHC we follow the Federal and the State of California regulations pertaining to the type and quality of health services provided to anyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
Golden Valley found humble beginnings as a hospital-operated migrant health program. When Mike Sullivan took charge as coordinator in 1972, it was the start of a long history of change and innovation.
From there, the clinic blossomed, opening 11 satellite clinics and branching out to include services for those in Stanislaus County. The organization realized they needed to change their name to represent all those they served and in 1995, Golden Valley was born.
Throughout its history, Golden Valley became known for growing by leaps and bounds in terms of quality and services. Golden Valley has not only spearheaded the development of patient registries and population management for improved patient outcomes, but theyve also developed cultural competency programs and continued to open new sites throughout the region.
In 2014, the current CEO, Tony Weber joined the organization and provided a fresh vision for the future. Under his leadership, Golden Valley has continued to increase in both the number of sites and patients served. The organization now has 45 sites and serves over 143,000 unique patients per year. In 2016, Golden Valley modernized its logo to revive its purpose in the community. Additionally, Webers commitment to being the employer of choice has allowed for the hiring of the best and brightest providers to care for our patients. An Advocacy Center of Excellence, or ACE, is any Health Center that has achieved certain measures of advocacy success and demonstrated an ongoing commitment to advocacy by making it an organizational priority. ACEs are not only actively engaged and involved with NACHC and federal policy issues, but also with their states PCA and any key state-level policy issues impacting Health Centers and their patients.

The attitude of the India culture dentist was based on money with the intent to do anything to accomplish that, therefore became rudish when her services were denied.

Great that the office is following COVID 19 protocols but very frustrating that you have to spend over an hour at the office just for X-rays then schedule separate appointments to have the work done.

There very very careful on what they do specially nice they care about their patients specially the doctor is a very friendly clean place am very happy for the work they do to all of them thanks god blessed keep them safe

Everyone was friendly and on time. We were worried since my daughter is 9 abs unable to be vaccinated test but they were clean abs very accommodating. Our dentist was efficient and friendly.

The best dentist and service in town and by far anywhere else. I had a very bad tooth ache and was able to get in the next morning and the Dentist was so caring and thorough. He made me feel special and took care of my problem in 10 min. I am feeling better and I thank this dentist. Don't go any where else. This dentist is truly the real deal.

I had been having a terrible time with a toothache. My normal dentist kept brushing me off. So I called golden valley. I drove from San Jose to Los Banos, that's how bad it was. I get there, xrays are taken, and I explain to the dental assistant the amount of pain I've been in. And how I just want the tooth pulled. I got extremely lucky that they were able to pull it out. Staff is amazing. They listen, they're patient. The wait time is a little bit long, but overall I'd definitely recommend these amazing people.
