Dr. Lauren Golden was born in Rochester, New York and grew up in Austin, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in Biology and Anthropology. During her time at UT, Dr. Golden was a proud member of the Texas Cheerleading Squad when the Longhorns won the football National Championship in 2005. Dr. Golden then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT School of Dentistry in Houston and has been serving the greater Houston area since 2012.
Dr. Golden is committed to providing her patients with the latest technology and dental treatments through ongoing continuing education. She is pursuing her Fellowship Award through the Academy of General Dentistry and is a regular participant in a Spear Education study club with other Houston dentists and specialists. Not only is she committed to her patients, but Dr. Golden is committed to upholding the profession of dentistry. She is active in organized dentistry and holds memberships in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and Women Leading Medicine.
When Dr. Golden isnt in the office, she is spending time with her husband, Mike, their two young daughters, Sloane and Heidi, and their two 70lb mutts, Madison and Marley. Additional hobbies include attempting medium-difficulty Pinterest crafts, trying to keep her dogs off the human bed and teaching her husband how to properly load the dishwasher.

I had the best experience with all of the staff here! I have never had so much pain due to a tooth and Dr. Golden was right there to help me. I have never had a doctor call me personally after leaving a message about being in pain still. The office is beautiful and the staff made me feel like I'd known them for years..I highly recommend seeing Dr Golden and all of her wonderful staff! Thank yall so much!

I highly recommend Golden Family Dentistry! I had a great experience. The front desk staff made booking my appointment easy. The hygienist wonderful!! I get nervous during the x-rays, but she was patient and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Golden is by far the best dentist I've ever seen. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and answer any questions I had. The office is about a 30 min drive from me, but it's worth it. It's a cute and easy to spot. Surprisingly, I can't wait to come back!!

I've been going to Dr. McClintock for 27 years and have always been very happy with the service, treatment and staff. Although I was so sorry to see her retire, I'm so happy that it seems that Dr. Golden is stepping into Dr. McClintocks business almost seamlessly. It seems Dr. Golden will be maintaining, if not improving, many of the qualities and expectations I have grown accustomed to. Thank you Dr. Golden and Staff

I started going to Dr. McClintock on a referral from another doctor. Really liked her and must say my heart sank when she said she was retiring. But Dr. Golden has met all my expectations. She's efficient and still caring. The entire staff is obviously happy with Dr. Golden or they wouldn't be smiling all the time. Angie has been my hygienist and I love her. I would and do recommend Dr. Golden every chance I get.
