I have been going to this dentist since 2005 and considering they're ONE OF THE ONLY FEW DENTIST LEFT HERE IN MICHIGAN THAT TAKE MEDICAID I'M JUST GRATEFUL THAT I FOUND THIS DENTIST as soon as I did it not to mention very caring both the staff and the dentist himself we've been in this pandemic for almost 3 years now and I think it's time we get off the mask issue and start looking at people as people again and caring about one another and be thankful that we still even have dentist we can go to cuz they very easily the government could have closed the doors all together on our dentist so as far as I'm concerned it's a BIG BLESING even to have A CARRINGTON PLACE TO GO let alone ONE THAT TAKES MEDICAID HEALTH INSURANCE considering that VERY MANY DENTISTS DO HERE IN MICHIGAN

Seeing all these reviews makes me question them. Have seen over 5 dentists athey all told me all my teeth had to go dr gotlib seen me one time and told me I could save the bottom he truly cares and his assistant was very nice going tomorrow to start my top denture.

Went for my dental exam today, Dr.Gotlib was very kind and considerate, did a great job extracting my tooth. Had a very nice dental assistant, I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. She was very nice, and did a wonderful job of taking care of me.Thank You

I see a lot of bad reviews. My visit was acceptional. I have a jaw disoder that causes me severe pain. So imagine my fear for getting my teeth pulled on top of that. People complain about the cleanliness of the building - it's an old building. The hands that work on you and there for you. Period. Thank you Crystal. Lol yo I think you left My root in. Back to one star lol

I personally was recommended to come here from someone from my local family pharmacy here in MT.Morris , actually Becky recommended me as she goes here and I'm so glad she did , Dr.Golden is so caring , sweet , calm , honesand actually listens to you and his staff sorry i forget the gals name with the blonde hair at the front desk but no matter how long its been since she's seen me she's just as sweet as pie , and I've never had any issues here , Dr.Golden understands my health issues and me having childhood type 1 extremely brittle diabetes and now i have all the issues that come along with having that awful hereditary disease my entire life as well as having Gastroenteritis which sucks badly and because of the gastroenteritis which is do to having type 1 brittle diabetes for so long it can damage your teeth which everyone always said how perfect my teeth was , and now i don't even like showing them cause they are so brittle , Dr.Golden has worked with me several times , i do have my husband's dental insurance which sucks big time since his work company changed dental insurance a few yrs ago and I'm on medical disability and have been since i got extremely ill and couldn't work anymore , But i do know I've never had not 1 mean rude thing ever said to me from anyone in Dr.Golden's office at all , And yes his equipment might be old but its clean and so is his office and the reason he has old equipment is so he can keep his prices down , So For Anyone That Is Complaining About Dr.Golden And His Staff All I Have To Say Is This To You , If someone is going to go in there screaming and demanding and cussing then yes i would tell you to leave too Also If your going in there because your in pain and you just think by demanding pain meds or asking for them are going to get you somewhere well you have another thing coming , it doesn't work that way if you have a infection of course the doctor is going to prescribe you a antibiotic but he's not going to give you pain meds the antibiotics are to get rid of the infection and then on certain Saturday's of the month they do have a specialist that come's in to pull a tooth or teeth , as i know i had a few year's ago a unexpectedly wisdom tooth pop through and boy was it painful and i called Dr.Golden up ASAP he got me right in , got me started on a antibiotic which I'm glad he did to prevent any infection and we made a appointment for when the specialist was coming in on Saturday to have it pulled and they was so gentle at pulling it too so it didn't hurt and then he even gave my husband the prescription so he could hurry up and get it filled since our local pharmacy closes early on Saturday's and then that way when i was all done then my husband could just bring me straight home , and with being a diabetic and a brittle type 1 diabetic at that ( so i can drop really low or go really high blood sugar wise) prior to going to the dentist we made sure we had jello , pudding , broth ect. Stuff that i knew i would be able to eat , and Dr.Golden also listens and which I'm 100% honest about everything that is prescribed to me from my primary care doctor also i keep a list on me of all my medical conditions that I've been diagnosed with , as well as every single surgery I've had with dates and hospital's and who did the surgery , emergency contact's ect. I cannot take Motrin as i also do to diabetes have a kidney disease which gave me hypertension so per the kidney doctor he said absolutely no Motrin and Dr. Golden understands that too , I can say this before i first started going to Dr Golden , i had went to my old childhood dentist in clio loved that dentist sadly he didn't take my insurance but he had a young new dentist in there that did ,this young new dentist wanted to charge me thousands( i sure the heck don't have that kind of money not even close to that or half of that) said I needed a root canal even wanted me to apply for care credit which i got denied, i go see Dr.Golden and guess what sure enough nope i surely didn't need no darn root canal at all, Dr.Golden saved me

I went to this place on 12/17/19 and the staff was extremely unprofessional also charged me a co pay when I had two insurances ! And I was in the dentist chair for maybe 5 mins if that . The nurse acted retarted as could be ! She says I see that your mouth is swollen and then points to the wrong side . Ok if you can't figure out which side is swollen if you seen it then I don't think you should be a dental nurse . And the doctor says I can't pull the wisdom tooth um first of all I already knew that I wanted to see your oral surgeon . This place is extremely unprofessional and the lady at the window is a rip off charged me 3$ when I don't have a copay ever . Worst service ever wish I could give zero stars! Won't go back there !

He didn't numb me up before pulling 2 teeth. He is very rough with patients. I wouldn't take my dog to him.

Stay away. If I could give this place zero stars I would.. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. I went in for a tooth infection and to discuss teeth care. I was basically told that the dentist wouldn't do anything unless I had all my teeth pulled. His assistant was very rude and called me ugly saying that my fiance would find me more attractive if I had my teeth pulled. And she looks at teeth before anything else. I have a calcium deficiency so I have a few bad teeth from it. She didn't care and proceeded to call me ugly. I had never sat in an office an cried before until that day. The dentist told me go anywhere and they will tell you that you need your teeth pulled. I got a second opinion due to the extreme pain and the second dentist I went to was mortified of my story. They gave me antibiotic and pain killers and I am going to a specialist to have work done that I required. I was referred to the specialist by the second dentist. Do not go here. Not a clean office and very rude staff.

I went to see Dentist Kevin Houng to get my wisdom teeth pulled thinking i was getting put out just to find out they don't do that and this dentist only works on Saturdays. So with me having anxiety from pass experience i was scared so i felt it was a bad idea to get it done. He wouldn't comfort me or anything and he just wanted me to cancel. He didn't seem like he even wanted to be there. He told the main office that i caused problems that i did not do. I was not rude in anyway but him on the other hand was very rude. There was someone next to me that was suppose to be numb but you could tell she was in pain while he was working on her. I do not recommend him at all. Plus the whole office was dirty like they don't even clean it which is very unsanitary.
