Our office uses the new FDA approved digital x-ray system. It reduces radiation to you and your family by as much as 90%. We also offer the new FDA approved laser cavity finder that can detect decay from the top of the tooth so we do not miss recurrent and early decay. It uses light energy instead of radiation. Traditional dental pick checking can miss this type of cavity 76% of the time.
Our office loves kids! Dr. Goff believes in treating kids with kindness, patience and respect. By spending a lot of time explaining dental procedures in a way kids can relate to, she and her staff create an atmosphere in which children feel welcome, not fearful. Many parents tell us their children ask 'When is it my turn to see Dr. Goff again?' This is truly a wonderful complement.
Dr. Goff was raised on the south shore of Massachusetts and attended both the University of Indiana and University of Florida for her undergraduate education. She received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Florida College of Dentistry. Following their love for the beach, she and her husband Mark then relocated to Melbourne, where she has been providing beautiful smiles to the space coast for the past 21 years. Their family currently lives in Rockledge, where they are raising their two children Brandon and Delaney. When not in the office her family enjoys snow skiing, boating, and wakeboarding, and many hours on the baseball and softball field. They are, of course, all avid Gator fans. Dr. Goff has expanded her practice, due to patient requests, to include facial rejuvenation with Botox & Juvederm. This seemed like a perfect adjunct to the 'smile lift' procedures she had been performing for years. She can provide patients with not only a more youthful smile but a more youthful appearance to go along with it. Kristy is dedicated to ensuring the oral health of patients, and educating them about the benefits of excellent dental hygiene. According to Kristy, no patient is a stranger at Dr. Goff 's office! Every patient is given 'extreme TLC,' and Kristy loves people, and tending to the oral health needs of her patients. She 's been in the dental profession since 1983, and has been with Dr. Goff since she opened in her Melbourne office in 1991.
Wendi likes educating her patients about oral hygiene while providing treatments. She takes cares of a multitude of dental services including teeth cleanings, X-rays, and perio charting. Like the rest of Dr. Goff's team, Wendi is committed to a patient-first focus, and feels that patients keep coming back because their experiences are positive.
Wendi has been in the dental community since 1989, and has been at Dr. Goff's practice since 1996. She has an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene as well as a Certificate to administer Local Anesthetic. She provides optimum treatment for each patient, which matches Dr. Goff's philosophy of giving dental excellence.
Kelly grew up in Melbourne, Florida and is a graduate from Brevard Community College. She graduated from Dental Assisting School in 2005 and continued her education, earning an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene as well as a Certificate to Administer Local Anesthetic. Kelly is very passionate about Dental Hygiene and takes interest in all her patients and truly loves what she does. She uses her skills to provide well rounded care to her patients.
Cheryl has been a dental assistant since 1994. She received her radiology certification in 1995 and her Expanded Functions certification in 1997. She joined Dr. Goff's team in 2012 and is very glad to a part of such an efficient and caring team. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and walking on the beach.
Karla loves working closely with our patients and helping them get all of their dental needs scheduled in a prompt and convenient fashion. She has been a member of our office for nearly five years now.
