Dr McAnally and his family have always dreamed about opening a practice in his hometown of Goddard. Dr. McAnally is a graduate of the Goddard High School class of 1999. Following graduation he attended Cowley County Community College on a tennis scholarship, and finished his business management degree at Wichita State University in 2003. After graduating from WSU he pursued his passion of dentistry and attended Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2014. Dr. McAnally joined progressive dental offices after dental school in Kansas, where he practiced for four years, prior to opening his own office in 2018.

Dr. McAnally is passionate about providing the best possible patient experience from start to finish. He strives to provide exceptional dentistry while creating a calming and welcoming environment. He has committed to going above and beyond the continuing education requirements of his licensure with his focus being on procedures such as dental implants, cosmetics and childrens dental techniques. He is dedicated to giving back to the underserved by participating in numerous annual local outreach events such as Give Kids a Smile and Kansas Mission of Mercy. He has provided dental care internationally, most recently to the remote communities in Jamaica. Being part of the community here in Goddard and becoming a part of the community is important to Dr. McAnally and his dental team. They look forward to finding ways to make a positive impact on the community.

Outside of dentisty, Dr. McAnally and his wife, Tracy, enjoy spending time with their two little girls; Makena and Avery. Growing up in Goddard, KS, a suburb of Wichita, he gained a fond love for Wichita State Athletics and numerous outdoor activities his favorites being kayaking, camping, fishing, and hiking. One of his favorite vacations is traveling to mountainous areas to hike, he has challenged himself to make it to the top of as many 14,000 ft mountains as he can.

Digital dental x-rays provide high resolution diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure and discomfort.Digital x-rays use a sensor, instead of film encased in uncomfortable cardboard, to capture images of your teeth. Because the digital sensor is electronic and connected to a computer, once the x-ray is taken, the image is projected on a screen for Dr. McAnally to view.

The digital panoramic xray gives a broad overview of the entire mouth. This xray supplies information about the teeth, upper and lower jawbone, sinuses, and other hard structures of the head and neck.

A cone beam scanner is an x-ray machine that uses cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to capture a clear, detailed, 3D image that can be rotated, enlarged, and highlighted as necessary to help Dr. McAnally confirm the best treatment options. This 3D imaging provides us with a far more detailed picture of your mouth.

The scan only takes 14 seconds to complete and is used for many different purposes. It also emits less radiation because it relies on digital imaging; much less than a traditional x-ray machine. These images are then projected onto a large screen that can be viewed and manipulated by Dr. McAnally.

Cone beam scanners are typically used to identify problems patients are experiencing. This includes everything from tooth pain to infections patients may not have known about previously. Cone beam scanners are also useful for patients seeking dental implants. Using the built-in software, our team can pre-plan your dental surgery to make it easier, safer, and completed with unparalleled accuracy when compared to using a standard xray.
