Dr. Joel Gluck, the real Legend,has practiced orthodontics since 1983 when he opened his own office in Nashville. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, he earned his undergraduate degree atWashington University in St. Louis, and his dental degree atthe University of Tennessee. Dr. Gluck then completed an orthodontic specialty residency at the University of Michigan, one of the top five orthodontic training residencies in the country. He also wrote an original thesis and received a Master of Science degree.

In 1993, he became Board Certified in his first year of eligibility and is a Diplomate ofthe American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming a Diplomate of theAmerican Board of Orthodonticsis a unique achievement. In order to become Board Certified, Dr. Gluck passed a comprehensive oral and written examination covering all phases of orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic care. He also had to present to the Board detailed case reports on the treatment he provided for a broad range of orthodontic problems. Less than 25% of all orthodontic specialists are board certified, which places Dr. Gluck at the top of his specialty.

Dr. Gluck has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical School, Division of Orthodontics, as well as on the hospital staff at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He trained over 50 residents in Clinical Orthodontics as well as Diagnosis and Treatment Planning. He also was accredited by Vanderbilt to use medical lasers.

Lecturing and attending continuing education courses each year enables Dr. Gluck to stay at the forefront of his specialty so that he can provide the latest and best care for his patients. He keeps up with advancements in orthodontics by maintaining memberships in theAmerican Association of Orthodontics,World Federation of Orthodontics,American Dental Association,Southern Society of Orthodontics, College of Diplomates of theAmerican Board of Orthodontics, and theAcademy of Laser Dentistry. In addition, he is a past board member of the prestigiousSchulman Group, which is limited by invitation to the top 125 orthodontic specialists in North America.

Dr. Gluck and his wife Linda are blessed with a large family two sons, two daughters, two daughters-in-law, and four wonderful grandchildren. When hes not at the office, Dr. G loves to exercise, watch Tennessee Football, and snow ski in Deer Valley.

Born and raised in Nashville,Dr. Jonathan Gluck, or Dr. Jono as hes known at the office,graduated fromEnsworth Schoolwhere he was a member of the Orange team, played many sports, and fondly remembers P.E. class with Mr. Inman.

He attendedMontgomery Bell Academyand graduated in 2004. At MBA, Dr. Gluck played offensive line for the football team, winning two state championships, and served as Public Address announcer during baseball season. After high school, Dr. Gluck moved north to attend theUniversity of Michigan in Ann Arbor. There, he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, worked as an assistant chef in a sorority kitchen, and coached Little League flag football in the spring. Dr. Jono received his Bachelor of Science degree in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Sciences from Michigan in December 2008.

He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the prestigiousUniversity of the PacificArthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistryin San Francisco in 2012. Following dental school, Dr. Jono remained atUniversity of the Pacificto complete his twenty-seven month specialty residency in orthodontics along with a Masters of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Jono moved back to Nashville in May, 2015 to join practice with his father,Dr. Joel Gluck, at Gluck Orthodontics. He successfully completed theAmerican Board of OrthodonticsClinical Exam in September, 2015, becoming Nashvilles newest Board Certified Orthodontist.

He married Dina Finer Gluck in November, 2015. Dina is a Nurse Practitioner at a dermatology practice in Nashville. Dina and Jono welcomed their first child, Noah James Gluck, on November 30, 2018. They are expecting Baby Gluck #2 in February 2021. When hes not spending time with Dina and Noah, Dr. Jono loves to play with his beloved German Shepherd, Joey, improve on his golf game (albeit slowly), read biographies, exercise, cook, and watch college football (Go Blue!!).

Currently I am our Marketing Coordinator and love every minute of this role! I have the privledge of spending time not only with our patients and their families, but out in our local community. Dr. Gluck and Dr. Jono have built incredible relationships with Nashvilles dental community and we are extremely blessed to be able to work with such an amazing group of professionals.

At our practice, I love that each patient receives the highest quality of care available in a caring and committed atmosphere. I have seen many changes during my 20+ year career in Orthodontics, and Dr. Gluck is constantly on the cutting edge of patient care and technique.

When people ask me about Gluck Orthodontics, I call it the Legendary Gluck Experience, and I am honored to be a part of this practice. Outside the office, my husband and I are enjoying being grandparents. Reading, going to movies, and being at the beach are my ideas of relaxation.

Having spent many years in the banking industry, I was so excited to have an opportunity to join Gluck Orthodontics. As the financial coordinator, the best thing I get to do is spend time every day building relationships with our wonderful patients and their families. I appreciate the opportunity to work with such a knowledgeable and fun group of individuals!

At our practice we work extremely hard to make orthodontic treatment affordable and part of my job is helping to manage customized payment plans. We go above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and feels taken care of.

Ive been in orthodontics for over 25 years and have been at Gluck Orthodontics since 2013. I am our Invisalign Coordinator which means I am responsible for managing over 1400 patients who are actively in Invisalign treatment! I also run our in-house orthodontic lab and coordinate with all of our outside labs who make appliances for our patients. My most favorite thing to do is spend time talking with our patients and becoming friends with them. Through the years Ive gotten to know some AMAZING people. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and tending to our chickens!

I began working for Dr. Gluck in 2011 at the front desk and became a Registered Dental Assistant soon after. Working at Gluck Orthodontics keeps me challenged, and interacting with our patients has proven to be a very fulfilling experience. Outside of work, I love cooking and trying new recipes (I can tell you anything you want to know about food!). My favorite time of the year is when college basketball begins, as I am an avid Louisville fan.

I began working for Gluck Orthodontics in 2012 as a Registered Dental Assistant. In the office, you can usually find me using the iTero scanner to create 3-D scans of Invisalign patients teeth. Working with Dr. Gluck has allowed me to work with the most fun and caring people I have ever met! I love spending time with my family, cooking, baking, and painting.

I joined Gluck Orthodontics in 2012 as the scheduling coordinator. I love helping to create a legendary experience for our patients each day. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, photography, and reading different genres of books. I am looking forward to many more years and memories at Gluck Orthodontics!

I joined Gluck Orthodontics in 2013 after an extensive career in Corporate America. I am a Scheduling Coordinator and one of the first faces youll see upon arriving at the office. We have also probably spoken on the phone as well! I love interacting with our patients and their families, and getting to know everyone through their years in the practice.

I have been a Scheduling Coordinator with the G Team since 2015 and am excited because I get to work everyday with my close friend Karilyn! I AM the first face youll see when you come into the office and love being there to deliver a Warm Welcome. I also love partnering with our local dental offices to make sure we are providing the best care to our patients. When Im not at work, I am spending time with my two perfect pups Libby & Neely! What is a Board Certified Orthodontist? An orthodontist is a dentist who has completed an American Dental Association accredited graduate program in the specialty of orthodontics. A dentist who graduates from a specialty program becomes an orthodontic specialist who is eligible to become board certified through the voluntary examination process of The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of the orthodontists pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.

The certification process involves a thorough Written Examination covering all areas of information on which an orthodontist should be knowledgeable. Successful passage allows the orthodontist to present treated cases which will be evaluated by expert examiners of the Board during the second phase of the board certification process. The final step is an oral exam covering all subjects of advanced case diagnosis, treatment, planning, and knowledge of the orthodontic literature and research. Upon successful completion of these steps, the orthodontic specialist is then granted board certified status a difficult and unique achievement that only 25% of all orthodontists achieve.

Dr. Gluck is a member of the prestigious Schulman Study Group (SSG), a nationally recognized association of prominent orthodontic practices in North America. Schulman Study Group members share a commitment to exceptional patient care, quality of orthodontic experience, and continuing education. Membership in the SSG is by invitation only and is limited to 125 orthodontic specialists in North America. Less than 1% of all orthodontists nominated for membership are accepted into the group. Dr. Gluck is proud to sit on the Board of Directors of the SSG, having been nominated and elected by the group members to this six-year term.

Dr. Gluck lectures and teaches as an Attending faculty member at Vanderbilt Universitys Orthodontic Residency program since 2009. He is on staff at both the University Medical School and University Hospital.The residency program in orthodontics is a 26 month hospital-based program. The program combines clinical training with studies of the basic sciences as related to orthodontics. All instruction is conducted withinVanderbilt University Medical Center. The program is accredited by theADACommission on Dental Accreditation.
